I am not a direct patient of this doctor, my 72 year old mother is a patient. Word of advise, if you are not here for "sports medicine" do not engage! Absolute garbage doctor and staff. I feel for anyone suffering through their neglect masquerading as care. The staff is rude at best, the doctor is not involved and does not do much to diagnose or care for his patients. He has moved his office and ONLY currently making appointments with his nurses? he has my mother on multiple medications that have been interacting together and causing confusion, dizziness. After complaints of these symptoms he sent her to a GI specialist? she has recently fallen and broken her pelvis due to her confusion and dizziness. We are trying to navigate the health care system and the full run around but a neglectful primary care physician is a difficult obstacle to overcome. I mostly see Dr. Craig but I love the entire office. The office staff is friendly and helpful and the doctor's really listen. I can't imagine going anywhere else!

My two Sons and I have been going to Dr. Wu's office for years and believe he is the best in the Desert! Very professional, to the point, and friendly.

Dr. Wu was referred to me by a friend. I have been going to him for a few years now. He gets it. He's a great doctor. Friendly and trustworthy. If he opens up to start taking more patients book him right away.

Dr. Efren Wu is hands down the best MD I have ever had. His Staff is great. Been going to him for several years now. This past year was a difficult one for me since I had two surgeries on my legs. The surgeon who perform both surgeries was recommended by Dr Wu. Since then I'm close to 100% not only because of the surgery but because of Dr. Wu's recommendation of PRP injections. PRP injections are a game changer. Not only am I able to walk normal, run normal and workout normal but to be able to play with my 2 year old daughter outside and jump and run with her is something I cant put into words how grateful I'm to Dr. Wu. If you have problems with damaged tendons, ligaments, muscles or joints, I highly recommend you go see Dr. Wu and ask him about PRP injections. You will be glad you did. My first time at Dr. Wu’s office,, was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere in the world! I can say this honestly because I just moved from Florence, Italy and I have lived In Other European cities and South East Asia. It was great to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all of his staff made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile. I am truly happy to have chosen Dr. Wu as my Primary Physician. Fantastic Doctor with an amazing staff. I switched my 90 yr old mother who has multiple conditions which need to be managed to Dr. Wu’s care and has been the best move I’ve made in years of her healthcare. Entire staff, Cami et al are responsive, very knowledgeable, caring, and truly take pride in their profession. Dr. Wu was referred by the head of the Fountains of Carlotta wellness program who is great and all is so much easier now for her and assuring for me. Highly recommend. My family has been going to Dr. Wu for many years and he is an awesome doctor. He listens to what you have to say and gives you the time you need (not rushing through an appointment). The staff is helpful and courteous. I highly recommend them!!!

I've been a patient of Dr Wu for the past 4 years and I was reading reviews and I was a little upset on his last one about his office staff. I personally think Dr wu is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctors here in the Coachella Valley. I don't like to be disrespectful towards people but his office staff has gotten better. Jamila, dora, and veronica are amazing. Jamila if you read that last review don't let that bother you. You do an amazing job, so keep being great!

This is the best Dr in town. Best staff.... especially now that Jamila is there. Shes super professional. Not that there was a problem before but Jamila was a HUGE UPGRADE. Veronica too. As you can see Im a normal person that is able to spell so trust me. I used to have to call for follow ups with the older staff. Now its the perfect office with the new staff

I came back to update my review because I felt it a bit “Harsh” how I came off about Dr.Wu’s back office and office manager staff, but I I pulled up the site I seen that my review was removed. I feel like this is where I “The Patient” can express how I feel about the staff, along with the providers. So now I do know for a fact the Office Manager is Horrible and doesn’t fallow threw with our referrals along with back office who doesn’t refill medication accordingly please bring Jasmine BACK Dr.Wu

Was very happy with my visit with Dr. Wu. He had a great bedside manner and was genuinely concerned with my injury. He took the time to explain the nature of my injury showing a model of the shoulder structure. I plan to use him as my primary caregiver when I am in the desert. I have been seeing Dr Wu since he started here with another practice and have stayed with him since. He is a really good listener and he explains things well. The practice became busy and I saw his new PA Craig for an illness and he was great. Dr Wu has himself a good partner in Craig. I would not go anywhere else for my medical care.

Love, love this practice. I feel well-looked after, and the doctor LISTENS. The entire office staff is helpful, and courteous. Dr. Wu is knowledgeable, thorough, and state-of-the art. I'm thrilled to have found him.

Dr Wu was great 1st visit but had to wait 45 min. On 2nd visit, a Fri, his young, crass, staff, who have no business being in health care field, wouldn't allow my husband to see Dr because he was 19 min late! I had called to say my ill, wheelchair bound husband had to urinate so we'd be a few min late. I was told at 3:19 he was too late, Dr wouldn't see him & told us Go to Urgent Care. 24 days later, my husband died from the very thing he tried to see Dr Wu for..those girls need to be fired!!

Dr. Wu was professional, friendly and knowledgeable addressing my knee injury. From the consultation and a follow up, you can tell that he wants the best recovery possible for his patients. I was highly satisfied with my experience.

Dr. Wu was professional and respectful. He was very patient and addressed my injury and outlined options for my recovery. Great experience.

I sprained my ankle severely to the point that the pain was unbearable. I went into Dr.Wu's office and he did some tests to see how bad the injury was. After that day visiting Dr.Wu my ankle has been much better, I will continue to see Dr.Wu as he took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel very comfortable knowing that it would get better which it did.

Dr Wu has been a great provider since our very first day. He provides care without judgement and spends time with me to understand what my options are and allows me to provide input into what direction to pursue my health goals. I recommend him to all my friends, colleagues and family.

After viewing my back x-ray, Dr. Wu said I was not a candidate for back surgey. He recommended physical therapy. After 3 months of physical therapy I was not getting better. At that point I sought a 2nd opinion, found out I had 3 severely damaged discs/vertebra and underwent a 6 hour surgery by a top notch surgeon in Palm Springs - Dr. Etebar. Today (one year later) I am doing much better, and should be able to golf again in 6 months - seek a 2nd opinion!!!
