Called the office to setup an appointment for a new patient. Left a message on Thursday 9/30. Haven’t received a call back so left another message on 10/4. Received a call back later that day. Was a great visit with Dr. Weiner, he is very knowledgeable, patience, open mind, explain well to questions you asked. His staffs are helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend Dr. Weiner to other that he is a great doctor.

He has been my primary care physician since 1996 and I definitely recommend anyone to call in. The staff is incredibly efficient and care so much for all their patients.

As new Florida residents, we're getting used to Dr. Weiner and his office. He seems caring and a very good diagnostician. The office can be somewhat problematic to deal with, but seems to be improving. The online (Athena) component is very important and it is on the upgrade. Looking forward to working with them.

Everyone is warm and friendly. Dr. Weiner is an outstanding physician and also listens to the patients in a very supportive and caring way.

I always have a good experience when I go to Dr. Weiner's office. The staff are always polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. I am able to contact them when needed and I am able to be seen when needed. I highly recommend his practice.

My husband and I have used Dr Weiner for at least 25 years and he is the best. He takes his time with patients goes over every detail of your concern. His nurses and office staff are the best and if you are trying to call your response is immediate. If you have a immediate problem you can be seen ASAP. Same as " April 05 2019" person says !!!

Absolutely NOT !!! This Doctor has no respect for you at all. He is arrogant, make insulting remarks, charges for exams not performed, over codes the insurance company and bills you for payments you owed him.. that you have paid receipts for. I wouldn't give him any stars unless you say I have to give one.

Go back to my previous recommendation. I rephrased it. It was true. I still have his letter and my husband was also there. Ledford Cade.

Dr Weiner has been my primary care doctor for about 3 years. I find him to be personable, direct and, importantly, Dr Weiner LISTENS to me and takes the time to answer all my questions. His staff is friendly, efficient and professional. I have never had a problem making an appointment, never had to wait long to see him once I arrive at his office, and never had an issue with a request for referral. Based on his experience and expertise I feel confidence I am getting good health care services from him and his office.

Takes his patients care very seriously. Office is adapted to Covid-19 criteria. Office staff helpful and polite. Dr Weiner is amiable, concerned and helpful. He goes an extra 2 miles for his patients.

This is the most difficult medical office to deal with. I feel the doctor is competent but getting a specialist referral from him is difficult if not impossible. I left the practice because it is so difficult to work through the phone maze. I know there are real people working there but they seem to delight in playing hide and seek with patients - and they always win because reaching any of them, or getting a call back in anything approaching a timely manner, is just not going to happen. I believe this physician is personable and knowledgeable but the mechanics and operations of the office leave much to be desired. He does return phone calls but he does not want patients going to hospitals or specialists and that may or may not be due, in my perhaps uninformed opinion, due to compensation concerns. The office is very clean and organized and neatly, but not nicely, furnished. It is in a sketchy area and the office windows have bars on them but the area appears to be safe although there is some kind of drug rehab/or treatment facility a few doors away. We have never had any difficulty entering or exiting his office. He is likable and a good doctor but I have little patience at my age to play phone tag repeatedly to get a simple request handled. My husband is still his patient but I am weighing continuing with that. My husband likes him but it is not he who has to navigate through the maze that is his practice. As a new patient, he spent an hour with me in my first visit, unheard of! He is very thorough, patient, caring, and genuine. He practices homeopathy and is not one to simply throw prescriptions at you. He delves into the details of your health overall, and takes time to really think through options and present them to you with his technical basis and the pros and cons. Then the decision is one you make together. Of all the medical practitioners who have given me care, I trust him more than anyone. This doctor dropped my dad as a patient after 15 years because he actually needed help. He sent a letter and then didn’t respond to numerous calls. What kind of person does this? I would never want any one I care about to go near him... you want intelligence and empathy... not arrogance and unkindness

He is competent and reachable but his office procedures make it very difficult to get things done. It is impossible to reach anyone by telephone ever but there is a long list of instructions to follow to have someone call you back to handle specific needs. His education is good enough as was his training. Getting referrals is difficult if you have an HMO that requires PCP authorization. Capitation may play a role in that. He is a good doctor but his office and policies are NOT user friendly.

A friend recommended Dr Weiner and I agree that he is an outstanding physician. He is well prepared for each appointment. I feel like he knows me personally and cares about helping me maximize my health. He never speaks down to me or over my head. Communications are clear and direct. I like his smile and demeanor. I consider myself fortunate to be his patient and would recommend him without reservation.

The absolute worst physician I have ever been to in my life. Very unprofessional. She explained nothing to me. She told me nothing was wrong BEFORE she even looked at the MRI results. Then she asked nurse for the reports, then told me I had 8 herniated discs, but "they weren't bad." She never compared my last films to the newer films like I was told, and after falling down and four concussions, loss of short term memory, eyesight problems, tremors, hand and feet numbness, plus a whole slew of neurological issues. I would think she would have taken my visit a little more seriously. She told me the fibromyalgia was making me fall down and said "it's autoimmune" No further explanation. I felt she was just rude and had no odea what the hell she was doing.Then to top it off I have no insurance, so when I went I told them I needed total prices beforehand, because I was paying cash. They quoted me a price, I paid it, then they turned around, afterwards and sent me a bill for two thousand plus dollars. I highly recommend you do not use Cassandra Mateo as your neurologiist. The office staff are highly unqualified or for for any job. Nothing but issues with his office staff and the billing people at Medical Specialists, his group. I called about fees charged - they over code to get paid more. I have been seeing this doctor on and off for 10 years and after asking about being over charged the office left me a message telling me to find another doctor. This doctor and staff and totally unprofessional. I recommend find a different doctor.
