Dr. Evan N Berman

Doctor Berman is one of the best doctors I've ever met..the staff is so friendly and Doctor Berman makes his patients feel heard and comfortable...

I had to see Dr. Berman to remove a mass from my left scalp temporal region. He explain the process to me and although I was very nervous and afraid he ensured me I was in good hands. I saw him for a few months and ended up having my surgery a few weeks ago. The healing process has been amazing. I had minimal pain. I am very please with him and his staff. He was very patient with me and gave me the time I needed to understand what procedure I was having and what my recovery time would be. I would definitely return if his services are ever required again.

Dr. Berman operated on my daughter. She had her gallbladder removed. He was so kind, caring and patient. He really listened and explained everything thoroughly. The wait to see him was very short. If I need surgery I would choose him. I wish there were more doctors like him.

Terrible experience with the Doctor Evan Berman Just came out of his office and he was all over my face harassing me. He was rude and inpatient with me. Why take new patients if he can't be respectful and patient. Did not care about my medical history he was more concerned about why and where I was coming from. He is not professional. I would never recommend this Doctor for any type of condition. Maybe he is hiding something from his pass that scares him. Terrible experience with this Doctor. Just came out of his office and he was all over my face harassing me. He was rude and inpatient with me. Why take new patients if he can't be respectful and patient. Did not care about my medical history he was more concerned about why and where I was coming from. He is not professional. I first met Dr. Berman at the Emergency Room at Forest Hills Hospital LIJ. I was in extreme abdominal pain. He came over to my stretcher and was totally dismissive of my pain and concerns. He asked me where I lived and what I did for a living which had absolutely no relevance to my urgent medical needs. I am a used car dealer and he proceeded to make fun of my profession. I just didn't understand what he found so amusing. He was totally unprofessional. I later conducted my own research and found out that he has terrible ratings. He obtained his medical degree from the Universida Autonoma De Guadalajara in Mexico. I don't know why he is even affiliated with North Shore LIJ. Horrible experience. If you want compassionate medical care avoid EL Doctor Berman from the University of Guadalajara Medical School. I am further communicating my concerns to North Shore LIJ.

He didn't appear concerned as to my medical condition. He found my medical condition trivial. I was in agony when he saw me and he made humorous statements. This was clearly not the time for being dismissive and light hearted. Terrible experience. I would never recommend this Doctor.

While I was in severe pain in the Emergency room. Dr. Berman was making jokes as to my occupation and why I chose Forest Hills LIJ's ER. I didn't think this was the best time foe shtick. I saw that as being insensitive to me and my family. I also could not get a straight answer from him. Terrible bed side manner. He really needs to approach a patient in pain in a more professional manner.

I went to see Dr Berman, because I was in a lot of pain and I was impressed how careful he was with the examination not to hurt me. He had a lot of pacience with me, because I am a patient that I can be really annoying when I am in pain. He told me that I didn't need surgery and prescribed an oitment that after three visits I was completely healed and with no pain. I think that Dr Berman is a sweet, friendly and funny person and I am glad to recommend to other people. Thanks so much.

After waiting to see Dr. Bermain for 45+ minutes, I sat in the medical exam room for 20 minutes and when he finally walked in the examination was less than a minute. He asked what why I was there, didn't wear gloves (didn't wash his hands before touching me), just slightly touched my back and then washed his hands and ordered me to his office. Once at his office, he was entertained by his iPad. When he was done with it, he simply looked up and told me that he didn't know why I was referred to him. I asked him what did he do; he didn't answer the question. He then said that I was 'morbidly obese' when he didn't even have my medical history or did not weight me. When I told him that (and that he wasn't exactly skinny), he dimply ordered me out of his office and screamed down the hall to not come back.It had been the most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. Also, I hate the fact that my insurance has to pay for a visit that wasn't accurately performed by Dr. Berman.
