Dr. Fay L Bennett-Phillips

Had small, broken blood vessel in my eye after a three hour appointment of which they used my iPhone to take a picture of my eye was told I have a mass or lesion and it is probably lymphoma, several questions later she insisted that’s what it was had to go out of state to a specialist there was no mass no lesion. It was a broken blood vessel. Completely irresponsible to tell a patient They probably have cancer when there was nothing wrong. Build my insurance company for pictures when they were taken with my own iPhone.

I was operated by Dr. Bennett-Phillips, the operation went well but they offer poor customer service. When I went in for a scheduled post-op check up the office was closed. When the employees arrived to open I waited to be called in. Two people that arrived after me were called in, when I asked why I was not called in I was not offered a reason I was told to sit down instead.

Dr. Bennett is well informed and a master at her craft. Wait times could vary, but if you come after me I apologize for your wait. I have highly sensitive eyes and ever examination I have to do takes 4x as much time as it should, for that I thank Dr. Bennett for her patience and encouraging of me to continue on. Simply stated, I'd wait 180 mins for Dr Bennett, my eyes and health are important to her as it is to me. I can't say that about other doctors I've visited.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bennett's for 10 years she is very knowledgable , assuring, confident in her work. The receptionist have been with her practice for as long as ive been a patient and are nice helpful girls. the only downside to the practice is the long wait which is to be expected when you want top of the line eye care and not rushed service.

Dr. Bennett herself seems competent and caring. I liked her, but I have never seen a more poorly managed office environment. Ancillary staff left patients waiting while they watched videos on cell phones and chatted. I was there for over three hours, taken in an hour after my scheduled appointment, and spent 10 minutes with the doctor. They do not accept credit cards as payment. On the positive side, all office staff were fluent in Spanish, which was clearly important for many patients.

An excruciating long wait every time 3+ hours

Very busy office and a long wait but staff are friendly and all questions are answered

It was the worst experience I've experienced at a doc's office. The waiting time at the waiting room was 45 minutes. When I asked the staff why it took that long, they said that it was even a silent day! (Yes, another patient confirmed that they are always slow!) They did two to three 5-min exams before I was able to see the doctor and in between each I had to wait a lot. It took at least 2 hours before I saw the doctor. The doctor was also unresponsive about my complaint.
