Dr. Fred Welden Caudill

Dr. Caudill has been my psychiatrist for a decade, and he has consistently been thoughtful, open-minded, willing to discuss treatment options, and has helped me through two emergency situations (note: I have treatment resistant MDD and GAD with panic attacks). While I would obviously wish to not need Dr. Caudill's expertise - to which he would probably kindly laugh and agree - it is wonderful to have his support. He has helped make my illness bearable and reduced the impact MDD/GAD have on both my personal and professional life. In short: yeah, he's good. :)

I’ve been seeing Dr. Caudill since I was 16 when he diagnosed me with bipolar disorder and saved my life. I have been seeing him for 20 years. He and his assistant Kim keep the office rolling perfectly and have literally zero wait times.

Dr Caudill is an excellent professional.He listens, is compassionate-and very perceptive when he prescribes medicine. If he is urgently needed in off -hours - he is awesome to reach and help. Ive seen him as a patient for more than 10 years .Before him, the Psych.MDs have never been as good.

Dr. Caudill is one of the BEST psychiatrists in the city of Charlotte. He is personable and a great pharmacologist. He really knows his stuff! I have both known him as a patient and a colleague. So I know a good doctor when I meet one. If you are lucky enough to have him for your physician; then consider yourself blessed!!

I think Dr. Caudill is a wonderful Psychiatrist who takes the time to listen and compassionately help you understand the process and your affliction. He makes meaningful suggestions while letting you make the final decision without your feeling regret or misunderstood. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone seeking this kind of valued council.

Dr. Caudill is the hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever had (and I have had many!), I have been going to him for about 8 years for panic/anxiety disorder. He is patient, compassionate and understanding and puts you at total ease. He talks to you, not at you. He is a rare gem in field of psychiatry. We are lucky to have ONE good psychiatrist in the Charlotte Metro area! He is the only doctor I have ever liked and look forward to seeing.

Dr. Fred Caudill is a very qualified and experienced Psychiatrist. I have been to 4 Psychiatrists in the Charlotte area over the last 21 years, before becoming a patient of Dr. Caudle. I am currently taking less medication, and more importantly, the correct medication for my mood disorder. When seeing Dr. Caudill, you must have an open mind and be willing to take his advise. When I have to call the office, my questions are always returned and answered in a timely manner.
