Dr. Lalonde and all of his staff are GREAT !! To me they are the epitome of what patient CARE is all about. He takes the time to really listen to me then tells me in clear and understandable terms what he is thinking, what my options are and what his recommendations are. Then he is willing and fully able to do whatever he can do to resolve my issues up to and including surgery if that is what is required. He is a well trained and talented modern doctor with conservative old time patient oriented principles.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lalonde for decades and he’s treated me for multiple injuries. He’s always recommended by other physicians, friends, and the people I send to him are always happy. He’s brilliant, a true healer, easy to talk with, and a straight talker, offering all options, outcomes, and feedback he’s gotten from his many patients. I’m thankful to have such a physician as one of mine. I recommend him highly and appreciate him greatly.

After breaking my ankle, Dr. Lalonde was everything I could ask for in an orthopedic surgeon - caring, friendly, measured, calm, knowledgeable, and skilled. I highly recommend him

Dr. Lalonde & staff are always extremely pleasant, efficient, and right on with care and treatment. I have seen him for years, first with over-pronation issue, and now with calloused arch and bottom of foot problem. I had to drive myself and worried that half my foot would be cut away, but nope-- just some trimming which results in me walking out better than I walked in! He also advised me to get the (overpronation) brace refurbished (long over-due) which will inhibit much of the callous formation.

I was very satisfied with my visit. The staff was very professional and friendly. I was very impressed with Dr.Lalonde, very nice and professional. Would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Lalonde and his staff are very polite. They let you know everything up front. Always in a great mood very concerned and has his patients in his best interest. It's not all the time a doctor says thank you for allowing us to take care of you.

I have been seeing Dr Lalonde for over three years since he performed an ankle fusion on me when I broke my ankle past the point of repair. He is thorough and explains all options. He is a man of god that cares about his patients. I will continue to use Dr Lalonde until he is no longer practicing medicine. He is the best there is.

Fantastic Staff and Dr

I’m 59 and I have seen my share of doctors. Dr Lalonde is the best doctor I have ever been to. Easy appt, short wait time, took his time to discuss problem and treatment….super nice and he seems to care about his patients.

Dr. Lalonde has an electrifing personality when he opens your door, you can't help but feel relief after meeting him.

Dr. Lalonde has been my doctor for 17 years. He is an excellent surgeon who takes time to explain all treatment options. He is very personable in addition to being a highly skilled surgeon.

4 months post op visit. I didn’t have to wait long to see Dr. lalonde. As always, great bedside manner. He took the time to answer all my questions.

I have been to several doctors for injuries in my life and Dr. Lalonde was by far the worst experience I have ever had. First, I waited two hours to see him. Once I finally was called back to see him, he did a one minute physical examination of my ankle and asked me what I thought was wrong with my ankle. He told me my ankle was fine and said that once I could balance on that one foot for 10 minutes at a time, my ankle would be back in decent shape. He was rude and did not take my concerns seriously. So, I went to another ankle specialist who upon a thorough physical examination informed me that my ankle was in terrible shape and needed surgery. It was confirmed by imaging with this other doctor that I, in fact, had two completely torn ligaments in my ankle. Lalonde was unprofessional, dismissive, and arrogant. Do not go to Dr. Lalonde.

Great surgeon & team. Everyone was so nice & helpful. They always returned phone calls & handled all the paperwork for my FMLA in a quick manner. Dr. Lalonde & Emily PA explained everything about the surgery & recovery in great detail. I was well taken care of by both of them & highly recommend anyone seeking help with foot or ankle issues to book an appointment with them.

Wonderful service in times like this ,during pandemic and all sorts of injustice going on beautiful staff need more people like this for the world.

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Lalonde! A friend recommended I consult with him regarding bilateral bunions (for a second opinion). I had previously consulted with a local Podiatrist who was ready to pull the trigger on surgery. After Dr. LaLonde reviewed my xrays he asked a few questions and didn’t recommend surgery. He said he LOVES performing surgery and would gladly do it, if I wanted; but, he honestly didn’t think it necessary. I left his office almost skipping I was so relieved and excited!!! Dr. LaLonde’s bedside manner is superb and his honesty is even more superb! I’m so glad I consulted with him and you will be too!

Dr. Lalonde was very personable, which put me immediately at ease! (His P.A. was GREAT, too! The same holds true... she spent time and spoke with me as a PERSON, and not just "another patient.")

Dr. Lalonde ....what can you say about a “fantastic” Physician and “excellent” Surgeon. When you are in the hands of this doctor, his warm and genuine personality sets you at ease as he goes through his superb diagnostic evaluation of your case. He not only comes up with a treatment plan for you but takes the extra time to explain his reasoning for his recommendation. Most doctors draw in vagueness with little explanation, but Dr. Lalonde takes precise care and respect for you that you are never going to walk out of his exam with uncertainty still on your mind, but rather in the firm belief you have been blessed. And that word blessed is in my evaluation because when I got to Dr. Lalonde I told him, after my initial exam I felt blessed that he became my surgeon. He told me his surgical plan for me and I was so comfortable with him that I said yes if that is your recommendation let’s go with it . And I still feel the same today, seven months later about my opinion of him .

One of the best experiences I’ve had with a physician. Doctor Lalonde and his office staff are very thorough and friendly but also professional; main focus is the well-being and recovery of the patient. I’ve already recommended my mother to Dr. Lalonde.

This was my first visit with Dr. Lalonde and also the first time I’ve ever needed a foot/ankle doctor. I can’t believe how lucky I was to get him and his PA Emily. They went over everything with me on my MRI and explained my all of options for treatments thoroughly. He has a great personality and bedside manner and you can tell he cares about his patients. I’m recommending them to all my friends and family .. great Dr. with a great staff!

Dr Lalonde is knowlegable, and puts his patients best interests first. I believe he is one of the best foot & ankle docs in SE Louisiana. His staff is great too. I highly recommend him.

Was over an hour early for my appointment and was called as soon as I signed in. Nurse was extremely nice and listened to everything I said about my problem and asked all the appropriate questions relating to my condition. I was sent right to x-ray and was treated so nice there. When I was waiting to see Dr. Lalonde, he came in in less than 2 minutes. He looked at my x-rays and immediately diagnosed my problem. He explained my options and suggested what was best for me. He said if I still had pain, I should not hesitate to call. Dr. Lalonde was so nice and professional in every way. I left the clinic feeling so much better about my condition and my chances for a complete recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Lalonde and BROC.

I was supposed to have shoulder surgery when Dr. Lalonde was still at EKL Hospital. He is an awesome person, even more as a Orthopedic Surgeon. While his patient at EKL upon learning my prognosis that required surgery he eased my anxiety and fear. Took his lunch break to give me a tour of the O.R. Would do anything to have him as my surgeon. Since I'm on Medicaid Expansion majority of private practice doesn't accept the expansion patients. Thanks, Dr. Lalonde. Sincerely Daniel Tolar

Knowledgeable and personable. Provides great care to ensure patient understands conditions, options, procedures and long term expectations. Have used for several foot related issues, including surgery. Used on the recommendation of my rheumatologist as the go-to doctor for foot issues. Would definitely recommend.
