My wife decided to switch doctors because he don’t even know half of what he is doing. The doctor she is seeing now is actually helping her with what she needs. This doctor did not have no care about my wife and the pain she been going through. Most horrible doctor in my life. What a joke for a doctor.

I went to this doctor for my pilot medical certificate and this doctor made it so hard on me to get the medical certificate and he did his best for me NOT to be approved even though I am retired and I am taking flight lessons just for fun and as a hobby . My advice is NOT to go to this doctor and do not use him . He wanted to charge me double the price but I refused And in return he made it so hard for me to be approved for a medical certificate. Dr Sullivan is excellent. Staff is awful. Cleanliness of the office not good. Never get phone calls return regarding your test such as blood work. If it were not for Dr Sullivan I would have quit going there years ago.

Rude and does not listen to you at all. He lied on me and messed my medical records up. Goes out of town without making sure you are seem on time. Just doesn't care about your well being almost cost me my life.

The doctor and staff were very rude to my mother and the doctor is arrogant and hateful. The lady at the counter was also rude to another woman that was asking her a simple question.I do not see why anyone would go back to him. She will not be. People that treat others that way should not be working with the public.

This review in no way intended towards Dr. Sullivan or his office. I heard good things about this doctor from a patient of his who works with a friend of mine, so I felt positive about switching here. This is in regards to a new patient that wants to start seeing Dr. Sullivan: do not schedule an appointment or inquire about the cost of treatment if a man answers the phone! I was recommended to him through a friend of a friend that is his patient. On Tuesday December 29 I called to make an appointment and check on the prices of the first and follow up appointments. A man answered the phone, got my first and last name as well as my cell number and I "thought" scheduled my appointment for the following Wednesday on January 7 @ 10am. Morning of my appointment I woke up late so I called to see if I would be able to come in later during the day. Although, I wasn't on the schedule the lady said. I got transferred to a different lady and she was as shocked as I was about now having no appointment that a man answered the phone at their office. She said there's two women up front who always answer their phones and the only men there are the doctor and his assistant who never answer phone calls. Whoever I spoke with that day also gave me the wrong price that I thought I would be paying that day. I've never been to this place (I don't even know what the doctor looks like) so the vibe they were putting off was as if I made all this up was extremely humiliating. I've been prescribed suboxone for 10 years or longer. The doctor who I had been seeing for five years and trusted, treated me in a way that no patient should have to experience and on Wednesday January 7 would have been my monthly appointment with him. So since 11am yesterday I've been frantically searching doctors, reading reviews and trying to get an appointment. Every place I've spoken with so far aren't able to see me until two to three weeks which makes my freaking stomach turn since I thought for eight days that I had an appointment and yesterday I ran out of my medicine so I'm having to borrow from my brother and friend until I get an appointment somewhere. Dr. Sullivan didn't even see me st my visit. I had a simple question about the anxiety medication and I was told to never ask about it again. Felt like trash

First of all I have Multiple Sclerosis. I have been seeing him about 2yrs. Out of the blue he tells me my meds aren't in my system. He asked me twice if someone stole them. Same day...the lady that handles the prescription tracking app tells him I got a text but I didn't send the picture. I DID NOT get a text at all! I was lied on at this place and no one should ever go through this. I don't care who you are. I decided to not go back because I'm afraid of what they will do to me next. Staff and front desk are wonderful. If this can help one person avoid this happening to them by writing this review it's worth it. I just wish I had read his reviews first. Horrid Place! this has nothing to do with Dr Sullivan this is completely the front staff and the telephones. I've been calling for 3 days now because I thought I have my appointment was today. the one time I did get someone on the phone they said my appointment was was that day earlier I explained that I saw with the appointment was Monday several times and that I have on my phone log it shows that on each day I called well over 20 times trying to get somebody on the phone they're letting me go a whole month without any of my pain medicine knowing how bad I need it and now the phone rings and then goes busy and I've been calling all morning long since they opened and this is completely ridiculous! this has nothing to do with Dr Sullivan this is completely the front staff and the telephones. Been seeing Dr. Sullivan for over 5 years very smart cares about your health and doesn't just give you pills he gives what you need.

Excellent doctor! He could not be more thorough and truly treats the patient as if he was treating his own family.

wow! never again with this one! this guy is conceited, ego driven! can not get a single word into a conversation with him! i have never been talked to like i was, ever in my life! not even by an enemy! he belittles you! atmosphere is scary, very uncomfortable, i couldn't imagine how this "man" talks to his staff. was there for 9 am appointment, was not seen until 11:15! i will back-billing him for 2 hours! left feeling worst than when i got there!

"Government sanctioned drug dealer'!!! Only concern is EGO and POCKETBOOK! ONE WORD FOR THIS " MAN"! KARMA!

The office staff is polite and efficient; Dr. Sullivan is the most competent, knowledgable physician I've met. Coming from out of town, it is worth the extra 120 miles of roundtrip travel to have confidence in his diagnosis and expertise. For well over a decade, Dr. Sullivan has seen to it that I remain healthy and appraised of new medical breakthroughs that might affect my quality of life.

You cant ever get them to answer the phone. Goes straight to voice mail.

He profiles patents hes rude and judgemental, and his staff don't pay attention to there duties and they get the urine test swapped up and the wrong person pays a horrific price for someone'else by the good doctor, and he will not listen to you thinks he knows you better than you do

The Sullivan is an excellent doctor!! I have been going to him for about 4 years now. He has helped me a great deal with overseeing my weight lose and helping me come off some of my meds. I’ve been seeing this Dr. Sullivan for year! He’s kind an caring! He knows his stuff! He’s straight forward,no sugar coating it. That’s what I want in a Doc! He won’t run you through the mill with unnecessary test or run you around town. Good Christian man but no pressure in that since. He has many awards an certifications for everything! Great doc!

Dr. Sullivan is compassionate and actually listens. Before I was seeing him, I was seeing another doctor who was unhelpful. I had told this doctor my medications weren't working, and he said there was nothing he could do because I'd already tried everything. When I went to see Dr. Sullivan, he said there were plenty of other options, and after trial and error, because he actually listened to me and cared, we were able to find a combination of medications that actually worked for me and allowed me to have a better quality of life. Can't recommend him enough.

Hands down worst doctor I have ever been to. Ever. Period.

My visit with Dr Sullivan is always good. He respects me and always concerned about my well being. He shows great bedside manners. He is a busy man with many patients. He is there to do a job and to listen to our medical problems not your home problems. Very professional. Thank you Dr Sullivan.

Dr.Sullivan listen to whom he want to listen . He is not a good doctor at all! If you ask me he doent care for people that dont look like him.. Jus my opinion

Probably a good doctor. If he's interested. And IF he takes the time to Really Do His Job. He *did* help the friend who recommended him. Too bad for me that Dr. Sullivan leaned into his Merck manual instead of LISTENING to ME about my Very. Real. Problem. and outright lied about what was causing my "hallucinations". He never had any intention of taking a culture or scrape. He went through the motions of accepting samples and told me he'd send them in. He. Lied. LIED. But, hey! He'll flat hook you up with antidepressants--- oh! But WAIT! That's ANY doctor... *sigh* And *another* half of my monthly income I'll never see again or be able to use to survive. He is the best, has helped me more than any doc I've seen in a while. Compassionate, staff included, and explains what's wrong and how to help yourself with his care. Not many doctors out there care, your just another number, and the facility is God centered, thank you jesus!

If Dr. House was a real person then he could easily be Dr. Sullivan. This man is the Sherlock Holmes of diagnosis. For nearly 15 years I was experiencing severe issues whenever I ate food. After a few minutes I would start sweating, my heart would go into palpitations, I felt like I was going to vomit, and pass out. The incompetent UAB doctors just told me I needed to eat more yogurt and sent me on my way. They showed little to no care for my well being. Dr. Sullivan met with me and before even getting the results back from my lab work knew what was wrong. I ended up having an ulcer on my vagus nerve. Every time I ate it agitated the nerve and caused the debilitating symptoms. This led me to eating once a day and in turn I lost a tremendous amount of weight. Dr. Sullivan prescribed me several medicines to heal my body and in a few months I was back to feeling 100 percent. He took the time to explain scientifically why my body was acting the way it was and treated me like a human being a not a number. He was kind and caring when I started using him a few yrs ago. The last couple of yrs he would never give me the time to talk about any other medical problems or questions. He would print out my refills and walk off. My last visit just over a month ago, I was the last patient and again he handed me my refills but i was persistent and kept asking a question. He turned around, red faced, snatched my scripts, tore them up and said no more. He has totally gone crazy!!

It really is sad! 1).each and every visit is very uncomfortable. 2).Definitely has a "better than you" attitude! 3).Portrays his time as being so important, that he will not even give 1 minute extra, to listen to any issue whatsoever I try to explain to him! His exact words every single time,"Hurry! Hurry"! 4). Will enter the room,ask a question or two,walk out and not return! Leaving me to feel like"WTH"? So many unanswered questions! 5). James had no regard for my time and told me that i was inconveniencing him and to not “try to get inside his head.” He struck me as very unstable mentally with a superiority complex and complete disregard for me as a patient. I will be submitting formal complaints to all entities possible.

Best doctor ever, we drive a long way just to see him, our insurance won't even cover him any longer, but we still go to see him, because he's just the best. He truly cares. Such a rare thing. We tried to get help for my son for years, and everyone else failed, he succeeded...still working on some issues, but he's off drugs, that were killing not only my son but all of us. Thank you Dr. Sullivan and all your staff, you're the best! I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Sullivan. The whole team working together and all the nurse's ,and the other medical staff are so nice and professional. A very relaxing and enjoyable visit to be at a Doctor's appointment .I'm more than pleasantly surprised.

Absolutely the rudest, most uncaring doctor AND STAFF!!! I have ever had to deal with! Money hungry! RUDE! SHORT! COCKY!!! AND THE RECEPTIONIST NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!! SHE THINKS SHE OWNS THIS PLACE! Doc Sullivan has been my doctor since he first put his shingle out in the early 80's. He is kind and compassionate. He is very smart, you will be amazed.

He is unpredictable, My apt was at 1 PM, didn't get out till 4:15PM. He doesn't understand Pharmacokinetics, he doesn't listen and is delusional when it comes to benzodiazepines . He will write benzo's for patients on Hydrocodone,but not Subutex (a much less dangerous drug) He said he would inject my knee,but never came back to the room I had to leave to take care of my mother. I wouldn't recommend him due to his unpredictability.He treats patients I have referred to him much better than me !!!!
