Dr. Jenny Mn Uramoto

She was rushed and did not show concern to my symptoms as a first time patient. I wasn’t able to tell her my concerns because I was scared of annoying her; right off the bat she was, as another review said, brusque. I did not feel safe with asking any questions nor cared for. I already am scared of gynecologist appointments and her demeanor made this first appointment a nightmare. Please stay away.

She rushed the appointment, did not allow time to ask questions about symptoms and brushed me off as if annoyed or inconvenienced by my concerns.

She was abrupt. She was brusque. I said very little @ an annual check-up but even that little she talked over me, interrupting. She seemed angry. I don't need a charismatic bedside manner, but she is a long way from establishing a therapeutic relationship with me as a patient. She was thorough, however, in history review, if somewhat rushed.

There was a question about getting a copy of my medical records and overnight doctor Jenny was able to get them and personally gave me a call in the morning. Very impressive that the doctor did the call and not the nurse which happens so often these days.

She was recommended to me by a nurse who has been seeing her for many years. A problem I usually have with doctors is that I usually ask a lot of questions and some find that offensive - like I don't trust them or am questioning their competency. A good doctor, in my opinion, is secure and empowers patients to take charge of their own health. They are respectful and thoughtful to answer questions & concerns. This was the response I received after my first visit with Dr. Uramoto.

Dr. Uramoto spent time explaining why she couldn't do the tests necessary for a thorough diagnosis because I don't have private insurance to cover the procedures. She was more interested in the billing side of her practice than in the medical treatment. Whatever happened to the Hippocratic Oath? (I went in for an annual exam which concluded in less than 15 minutes.) I wouldn't go back again and don't recommend her to anyone... no matter what kind of insurance you have.
