Dr. Michael Allen Glick

Relocated to the area from Fort Lauderdale. After purchasing our second property, I was looking to establish a primary care physician in the new area, especially after all of the renovation work and heavy remodeling work I had done. I had Injured my back and had disc compression issues down onto sciatic nerve.. and seized up the muscle...Dr. Glicks office staff stated that they would not be able to get me in for approximately five weeks..I ended up in the emergency room three separate visits with multiple shots and medications prescribed..Even with heavy narcotic painkillers I was requesting CAT scan and MRI...Frightened as to what was going on with my health.I was directed by Michael Glicks staff to go to the Emergency Walk-In Clinic and see them for X-rays and possible referral for MRI, as the offices affiliated with them, in doing so I'd met with Dr. Harvey. X-rays were taken and was told that I would be contacted within one week for the results, and awaiting approval for an MRI. Another emergency room visit no contact telephone calls from any doctors offices,And progressively getting worse I had decided that perhaps a chiropractor might be able to help, With no anti-inflammatories no steroids or pain medication I was told that I have herniated discs and severe nerve damage. The chiropractor put through for an MRI checking with my insurance company dr. Harvey's office never did put through a referral for an MRI. Today was my initial an appointment for doctor Glick's office I was so excited thinking that I was going to get the medical care that I so desperately needed, and waited so long for in excruciating agonizing pain..I have not received any telephone calls confirming an appointment today so I took the liberty of calling the office myselfI was told my appointment was at 10 a.m. with it having been 9:25 a.m. I mentioned that I might be a little late that it is very difficult for me to drive with my medical issue but I am on my way.Arriving at the location I had difficulty with the addresses as they are suite numbers listed on the building's not the address and took some time to find their office,Upon entering walking up to the receptionist being happy and greeting them with good morning,Mentioning that I had difficulty finding their office, Abruptly the woman of color told me that I'm not letting her speak, I retracted and apologized immediately..She stated you're late and dr. Glick is not going to see you today you were written down as a no-show..As I started to offer up some non excuse explanation..The unhealthy rude one sitting behind the woman of color started with sir sir sir..As if trying to agitate me..Almost virtually begging to see somebody or the soonest appointment..I was turned away with a Snicker!! The unprofessionalism and behaviors of what I witnessed today I find to be wholeheartedly disgusting..You would think they would have seen me, being established with their ER department..Or at the very least give the care to somebody that genuinely needs it because that's what you signed up for. And a person coming to you with dire medical needs, and good insurance. To anybody that might read this I implore you to look elsewhere for a doctor because it's evidently clear of this doctor's office that Their tardiness policies take light over those with medical conditions. The Childness and unprofessionalism of the staff was astounding. They should be working at McDonald's With their fake personalities! That entire office should be completely and utterly ashamed with themselves.

Dr. Glick is a great doctor!

What a huge disappointment. I was ill the day of my original appt. so cancelled. I was given another appointment and 1 hr before my appt some one called to say if you don’t cancel u can never come to see Dr. Glick. They said I never cancelled. Such irony that I get the call on the day of my new appt. I was infuriated. Someone dropped the ball and know one will own it. Disgusting unprofessional way to run an office. Caring, attentive physician. Always has time to listen to me, yes he's from NY and a little abrupt - we are all a product of where we grew up! His staff is reactive and caring.

Rude and inconsiderate. Will not listen to symptoms. Gave an misdiagnosed ailment. The worst doctor I have ever been to.

Extremely incompetent and mean spirited doctor and human who told my dementia ridden father to “keep working and driving”. When I was putting my father in assisted living, he refused to fill out paperwork/send records , even tho after much negotiation he said he would. He did not! He just said that to stop us from requesting said records. I also asked him twice over the past 4 years for a cognitive work up and his reply was “Why?” Referring to my fathers advanced age. Listen to his reputation, it’s not good for a reason.

We moved from Michigan to the Villages two years ago and as I have lots of pain I needed a primary care physician. Dr Glick has been a lifesaver. He is very thorough and very professional. We love him.

Dr glick is a brilliant doctor but his background is nyc so he may seem abrupt. Great man just a little different. I’ve sent several neighbors to him.

Very thorough. Picked up an issue that was not apparent by comparing current EKG with a previous (3 years ago) noting subtle change and sent for further test. Ultimately co-diagnosed through referring me on for cardiac studies even though no signs or symptoms. Saved my life as 90+ occluded LAD.

Dr. Glick is rude, unprofessional and should retire. He refuses to listen to a patients symptons and health concerns and instead diagnoses everything as “you are just getting old.” He missed a very serious health issue that any doctor who treats elderly patients should be on the lookout for. You will wait in his waiting room for at least 1 hour every time. Do not go to this doctor.

Very unlikely that I would recommend him to anyone!! Don't think he is a bad Dr. But very unprofessional. Never looked at me, always on his computer, told me I was flakely because I wanted to explain my history with him. then he told me I smoked, which I do not and he said that I looked like it!!! His nurse then replied that what he meant to say was it was the Florida sun!! His bedside manner left a lot to be desired. Very strange Dr. He made my blood pressure because of who he was!!

I phoned about one of my medications. I explained this to the lady who answered the phone. She hung up on me. I called back utilizing the ext # for prescriptions. Carlos answered and said he needed to speak a nurse. The line was then transferred to a recording telling me no one was available and to leave a message. I then hung up in complete disgust. After 20 years with Glick I am now looking for another Dr. The waiting time is AWFUL. A lady (10:00) was called before me (9:30).
