I HAVE GONE TO HIM FOR YEARS FOR FOR TREATMENT FOR DAMAGED SHOULDERS AND UPPER ARMS HE HAS BEDSIDE MANNER VERY THOROUGH AND ANSWERS QUESTIONS I GO FOR STEROID SHOTS I RECENTLY FOUND OUT I NEED SHOULDER REPLACEMENT UNFORTUNATELY HE HAS TO DISCONTINUE SURGERY ON MEDICARE INSURANCE PATIENTS HE GAVE ME 2 GOOD REFERRALS AT 1ST VISIT HE SAID," I NEVER DO SURGERY UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!!!"

Surgery went well. Unfortunately postoperative appointments were postponed twice without explanation. In addition a request for a letter in order to get a refund for a ski pass. I couldn’t use never happened despite in person and email request, leaving me $1000 in the hole on the ski pass. Not the best communication from the office either with rather rude office staff

Dr. Gobezie was honest with me in why he would not recommend surgery. Only he different give me a written script suggesting that due to shoulder problem I should be awarded 2 more strokes to existing handicap. God bless everyone.

Very knowledgeable - Expert in his field. Quick and accurate diagnosis. Very accurate cortisone shots in my shoulder with lasting relief.

Dr Gobezie and his team provide excellant care. The appointments are on time or early and the surgery center and team provide the information you need. I have received responses to my questions after surgery during the same day. Wonderful team and facility

Dr. Gobezie performed reverse replacement shoulder surgery on both shoulders. One in 2020 and one in 2022. Both have eliminated pain and I am able to get back to golf, exercise, travel, etc. all without pain. Fantastic doctor with so much experience.

Dr. Gobezie has done a majority of my shoulder surgeries. He treats his patients like family and make plans with you that will help you get back to normal. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his patients from start to finish and throughout the future for any shoulder needs.

Dr. Gobezie is a great surgeon with an equally great bedside manner. He discusses all options, fully explaining all aspects of the procedure. I give him my highest recommendation.

Dr. Gobezie is incredibly professional and a great surgeon, speaking from experience. However, it unfortunately has some staff members who will just change your appointment time/date without calling you/notifying you in any way. Which will result in 0 responsibility being taken for the error entirely on their end, it was more of them explaining why I missed my appointment I didn’t know existed. I think her name was Sherri or Sharon. The in house office seems quite dysfunctional, just be aware of this.

I had a total reversal done on my right shoulder in September 2019. I had 2 prior surgeries on my shoulder for impignment on my a/c joint. I have had constant chronic pain since 1992 with this shoulder. I came to Dr. Gobezie after seeing ads regarding Cleveland Shoulder Institute and the terrific results his patients had. So I had my surgery and was awaiting the great results. It never happened. I have gone back several times and was told the pain was coming from my neck. And that I should have injections into my neck area to stop the constant chronic pain. I had the injections and the pain continues to this day. I have mentioned the pain goes down my arm and I have jagged pain in my chest area and also if I touch my shoulder where the implant was placed the area jags with so much pain I can't stand it. Could there be scar tissue around the implant? Why wasn't some type of scan taken when I complained? I can not have an MRI done since I have a metal implant. I really am disgusted as I have fibromyalgia and non alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. All I have to combat the pain is acetaminophen. Which causes damage to the liver. He broke my shoulder, never told me and sent me on my way without fixing it

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. G and how he helped me get back to living my normal life. After dislocating my shoulder many times I was nervous to have surgery because I was scared as to how it would affect my daily life and sport as I ride horses. But I am so glad I did it! I don’t live in constant fear that my shoulder will dislocate and my shoulder is the strongest it’s been in a long time! I was back in saddle 3 months after surgery and riding competitively again 6 months post surgery. I was amazed at how quickly the surgery went, how I wasn’t in pain long after the surgery, and how attentive Dr G and his team were! I have already recommended him to many friends and family who have since also used him and have been just as happy as I am. this is the place to go for all your shoulder needs!!!! I received a false diagnosis that lead to a surgical procedure that was not only unnecessary but later ended up making me a cripple, I she also heard of similar results unfortunately after my experience, university hospitals are a great medical organization and this review should not be reflective.

I developed a frozen shoulder due to excessive Calcific tendonitis last week. I lost all my motion and the pain was at 10/10. I texted Dr. Gobezie late Friday afternoon. He was on a plane but texted me back to see him on Monday afternoon. Right away he conformed that I had a frozen shoulder and gave me two injections of cortisone on each side of my shoulder. Three days later I have regained 90% of my motion and the pain has almost completely gone. Thank you Dr. Gobezie for giving my life back! Dr gobezie performed a reverse shoulder replacement on me. He gave me a black eye and broke my shoulder bone, it has been 5 months and I still can't use my arm

Dr. Gobezie, is a great surgeon. I strongly recommend him to anyone, and even if you have been somewhere else, check him out! I have no pain, and surgery was easy and recovery good. Staff is wonderful and everyone works together to answer any questions and very helpful. Dr Gobezie listens and answers any questions, explains very well what he can do for you. Cant be more excited on my surgery, couldn't raise my arm before surgery, now i can! No pain!

Dr. Gobezie is a doctor in name only. The guy is a terrible doctor and I would not recommend him to anyone. I went there with a shoulder issue, he played with my shoulder for 5 minutes, made an incorrect diagnosis, gave me a couple of shots and told me I was going to be fine in 3 days. It turns out that I had a torn rotator cuff and if I had not gone to UH and received an MRI I would never have received the proper treatment. He is making a fortune using great marketing instead of using great doctor skills. I would not waste my time or insurance on a guy like this.

Dr. Gobezie is by far one of the best you could find. Turned a tragedy into a minor set back for me. When I thought my left shoulder was finished at the age of 25 he used his skills to perform a miracle and I am more than blessed to call him not only the best but that he's my doctor!

Wonderful surgeon, I can’t say enough everyone needs to put their faith in him .He looked at the prior surgery reports and he knew exactly what was wrong. He did not stop until he fixed my shoulder, I thank God every day he sent me to him. Thank you and God bless??

Went to Dr Gobezie with a complete rupture of the bicep tendon. He treated me with cortisone injections. This only served to numb the pain which caused more problems. My pectoral muscle over compensated and then also tore. It was the next Dr who ordered an MRI which told all. Headed for a shoulder replacement. Could’ve been avoided.

He saved me from 2 shoulder operations that were misdiagnosed by a different “shoulder specialist “!!!

He was the type of Dr you wish all Dr’s were like. Friendly snd took his time explaining the problem and how he would solve it.

NOT RECOMMENDED—Very dissatisfied with poor follow up care. Initial surgery was excellent. However 6 years later, severe issues developed and all issues were repeatedly IGNORED and NEGLECTED for visit after visit. ** I was forced to find a new orthopedic surgeon who would help me. **
