Like others have said, she is INSANELY expensive and was an absolute waste of my time to take my child to. He has pretty severe intoeing and she basically told us that he's figured out how to walk and its too invasive and complicated to fix so she isnt going to do anything and then charged us 1000 dollars to say so in a measly 20 minute office visit. I will never return to this doctor or this clinic. It was also frustrating because our first appointment they called when I was 2 minutes away (after driving for more than 30 minutes to the appointment) to cancel it because their xray was down. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Overpriced and NOT helpful! I fractured my hip and saw 2 orthopedic specialists and had an MRI at an HCA hospital and the amount for all of those visits came to less than one small office visit with her. That is absolutely ridiculous and there ought to be some form of auditing in place to keep clinics from over charging like this.

Dr Holmes is currently reconstructing our daughter’s legs due to bone deformity. Dr Holmes doesn’t over complicate things with the abundance of words, and she cares sincerely about her patients. She’s brilliant in her specialty and demonstrates the ability to diagnose accurately and quickly without wasting time. She has shown compassion and understanding with our daughter through the entire process while also maintaining a clear decisive demeanor. She’s a master craftsman in the operating room and I wouldn’t trust any other surgeon to do what she does. She has the recovery process for my daughter’s condition down to a science and every one of our needs were met. Follow up care has been supportive and whenever we’ve had questions she and her team have been very available to help. If you want the highest quality surgical treatment with a brilliant specialty physician, Dr Holmes is the best choice.

Dr. Holmes started seeing my son for Perthes Disease when he was just 4. He saw her yearly, then bi-yearly until about age 13 when she saw it was time to put a bracket in his growth plate so that the other leg would have time to catch up. This kept his back from becoming crooked, among other potential side effects of Perthes. We loved seeing Dr. Holmes. She is so down to earth. I can tell she loves her job and that her staff love her. I will say, there MAY be truth to what I've read about the front office. I met a girl that used to work for the orthopedics group at Primary Children's and she said (this was back in 2013) that she quit because the office manager was terrible. It is so unfortunate that the worst people become managers, especially if it sets a bad environment for the rest of the office. I personally had no problems with the front office. They were always great, especially the nurse who worked for Dr. Holmes. She always made us feel welcome.

She’s amazing! I’ve read reviews that she’s expensive...yes and she’s a specialist. However, when you have a child born with disabilities I wanted the best. I’d rather pay more and have the best when it comes to my daughter being able to walk.

We were referred to Dr. Holmes by another doctor to have our son's leg x-rayed and have consultation for surgery (At age 2, our son broke his leg, and it grew back crooked). The time between the referral and the actual appointment was 6 months. After the x-rays were completed, Dr. Holmes walked in the door, took one look at our son, and said "Surgery is usually not done until 3 years after the break." She also told us, after the fact, that the x-ray was not necessary during this visit. She didn't show us the x-ray measurements until we had asked multiple times. After 6 months of waiting in suspense, all we received was unnecessary x-rays, loss of time and money, and poor bedside manner (to both us and our child).

On Christmas day, I broke my femur while sledding. Dr. Holmes fixed my leg. She did such an amazing job. It was 8 weeks after I had surgery & I was already walking.

TOO expensive! I should have listened to the other reviews! I was warned :(. Same child had 2 broken bones in 3 months, we took him to Primary's for the broken arm and it was over $1000! It was SO expensive we did ALL we could to find another option when he broke his leg...and it was less than $200 (the 2nd doctor spent more time with us, used more material for the cast and was MUCH closer to our home!). If you have ANY option other than Primary's for a simple broken bone, go with the other option! TOO expensive! I should have listened to the other reviews! I was warned :(. Dr. Holmes is great! I'm so grateful she was our surgeon!

She is an expensive doctor because she is highly specialized, but when your child faces a serious disability without medical intervention, you will sure feel happy to have her. We saw many doctors about my son's condition before we saw Dr. Holmes, and it is such a relief when you finally reach the caliber of doctor who doesn't pass your case off to the next guy. Dr. Holmes has been willing to go the extra mile to figure out what is going on with my son's feet, without being dramatic or hasty. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and even-keeled, and we are grateful to her. Dr Holmes saw my son twice because he walked on his toes and both times told me that it was just a little tight and he would grow out of it. Fast forward to today and after a visit to physical therapy they told us that Dr Holmes did not put any narration in my sons chart. They also said that the tightness in his feet was far worse then she said and that my son should have been referred to physical therapy much sooner. Frustrating

Charged me $1200 to - quite literally - wrap an elastic wrap around my infant daughter's leg. Total visit took about 10 minutes.

Waited about an hour, then went in and met with Dr. Holmes for about 10-minutes. Result was she put a brace on my daughter's arm and said to take off in 2 weeks. Of course, I'm thinking the bill for such a short visit would be in the $100-$200 range.. Nope.. over $750. Not sure if it's Dr. Holmes, or her office staff, or the UUHN hospital, but that's highway robbery.
