Dr. Aaron Rockney Parry II

I was referred by a friend to Dr. Parry and scheduling an appointment with him was hands down the best decision I ever made. Coming from someone who battles with endometriosis and ovarian cysts I was struggling to get pregnant but after my first appointment with Dr. Parry he assured me that carrying a child was something he thought was possible & thanks to him I now have a four week old son. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Parry and all that he has done and continues to do for me!

This is Regarding my daughter who is 20. She said Dr. Parry was fine, so I'll give it a 4 star, but would give the office a 1-star because....she was upset with the way office handled things. She's away from home on a college internship. I asked her SC friend's mother (a doctor) for a recommendation. My daughter was supposed to see a woman GYN who came highly recommended. The office switched the doctor to a man, Dr. Parry, not only without asking, but without even TELLING my daughter. She said she checked in, someone took her vitals etc, and said "He'll be right in.". That was her first clue. Not cool. Not cool. She's shy and didn't express her horror (only later to me). No way to treat a young lady who was having her first experience at the GYN w/o mom. Dr. Parry is amazing! I had to have an "unconventional" hysterectomy because of a massive fibroid and it couldn't have been smoother. He is honest and caring and won't beat around the bush.

Dr. Parry has amazing bedside manners. He makes you feel human and is sensitive to your needs. He was also very receptive when it came to doing what was best for me and my health. I was so happy to have met Dr. Parry and I’m grateful that he was able to attend to me and my health.

Was supposed to see Dr Hill but when I came to the appt they had me see Parry. He was completely weird about the exam and just generally dismissive. He sent me for internal ultrasound and diagnosed me with polycystic ovarian syndrome even though I had no signs of cysts. I am overweight but not like severely obese, yet he told me that I wasn't getting pregnant because I was fat and that I needed to lose weight. He recommended prescription diet pills then when I went to the window for discharge he told the staff to tell me to lose weight on my own and come back. So I did. I lost a good 20lbs and came back a few months later. I was at 186lbs. He again said all my problems were from being fat and that I needed to lose more weight. I left was crying when he said this and he told me not to go into the waiting room crying because it made him look bad. On top of that his office refused my insurance: blue cross! And sent me a bill for over $300. The insurance company couldnt understand why he refused payment from them and it was not my co pay since I had paid that in office. All in all this guy basically didn't know what was wrong with me and just threw it off on me being a bit over weight except he used the word FAT. I wouldn't send a dog to him as rude as he was and I think the only reason he even has practice in that building is because Dr. Hill is his father in law! Listens, explains in detail, cares about patient, advises with wisdom. I like the man and trust him.

He has delivered both our girls he's always went above and beyond to help us with any questions or concerns and you'll never leave his office without a smile there all great people (:

Dr. Parry is a fantastic physician both in terms of skill and demeanor. I was nervous about having a male obgy-n but he quickly put my fears to rest. He is extremely knowledgeable, positive and has the highest concern for his patients. If you are looking for an obgy-n who you can trust and count on, I encourage you to consider Dr. Parry. Dr. Parry is excellent. He's upfront and honest. He jokes around with his patients.
