Abdul G Chaudry

I have been a patient of Dr. Chaudry's for the past 15 years. Been being seen by him since I was 17 years old. He is my mother and Aunts' OB/GYN. He even delivered me when I was born in 1989. He has always been professional and helpful/informative until now. I went to his office Dec. 2 to have a blood test done to confirm I was pregnant. When he asked, I told him I did NOT want to see the pregnancy through. At my follow-up appt, he informed me that I was in fact pregnant and attempted to prescribe me pre-natal pills/vitamins. Again, I told him I did not was to continue the pregnancy. He gave me a look that made me feel like I was being judged suggested I get my tubes tied first which I felt was neither here nor there at this point. (He apparently doesn't believe in abortion and seemed unwilling to point me in the right direction.) Next he suggested a medical abortion. He prescribed me 4 tablets of Misoprostol and instructed me on how to take them. I took them, nothing happened (no cramps; no bleeding; etc). At my next appt, I informed him of this and asked if I needed a D&C or some type of surgical procedure and he ASSURED ME I did not.. He said well we'll take your blood to see if the hcg/Beta hormone levels drop. I had to go back and forth to his office every week to have blood taken to see my hormone levels, meaning I did not speak to/see him again after that. He never did a sonogram. While my hormone levels were in fact dropping, I was expressing to Ms. Alicia in triage that I still feel and look very pregnant but she assured me that my blood levels were dropping and that was a good sign. At my last blood test (12/28/21) I was told my levels dropped significantly and I didn't need to come back for a month. Here we are a month later and not only am I STILL PREGNANT, I AM NOW 20 WEEKS! I also found out that he was SUPPOSED to prescribe me another medicine to take in his office BEFORE sending me home to do the Misoprostol! He also failed to do a sonogram which is beyond my logic. Today I called the office to cancel my appointment and to inform them that I am now in my 2nd trimester, which was surprising to Ms. Alicia. She advised me that she would refer me to a "Dr. Clark". Because Dr. Chaudry was with a patient, she took my number and said she would gather the info for me on Dr. Clark and call me back. This was at 10am. The office closes at 2pm. I called back at 12:34pm, 1:04pm, 1:08pm and 1:26pm and each time I got the voicemail saying that the office is now closed. My Dr of 15 years has FAILED ME! I am past disappointed! At this point myself, my mother & my aunt will find a new OB/GYN! DO NOT GO TO DR. ABDUL CHAUDRY! At this point he needs to retire as he doesn't keep up with the correct procedures to assist his patients. From the very beginning when I told him I did not want to see this through, he still tried to give me pre-natal vitamins. I feel that he dragged out this entire situation in order to force me to see the pregnancy through! I took abortion pills at 9 weeks and was told just to wait and to keep giving blood which is the worst thing I could have ever done! I no longer trust him and after his office in Cheverly closed; I would ESPECIALLY not refer anyone to his ghetto ass shack of an office in District Heights. I could have had this taken care of a month ago but I foolishly put trust in my Dr of 15 years! DO NOT GO TO DR. CHAUDRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luv this doctor started going to him back in 2020 when I found out I was pregnant. He very pleasant and knowledgeable. The staff were very friendly they made sure i was comfortable with my appointments dates and was caring.

This doctor office is awful! Do not go here! The doctor is okay, but not thorough he is quick but not efficient! He never followed up with me & his staff is repulsive! The front desk staff and nurse is very rude and unprofessional, do yourself a favor don’t go. The front desk receptionist attitude is very nasty she is very immature and I felt very uncomfortable. Reporting them is the very least I could do! This entire office should be shut down, the wait time is extreme. You can die waiting in the waiting room. Seems you must have a CS if his your doctor, he knows what he is doing. I and everyone I know had CS with him. No normal delivery with him? Why?

The Doctor has so much experience. The staffs are polite and welcoming. The only thing I hate about this pace is the wait time. If you are always in a rush to do things, this place may not be the best for you.

Doctor Chaudry is an exceptional rare kind and very informed Doctor who know everything about what he is doing. Now, the staff, hmmmmm...that a big NO. BUT, I will ALWAYS go back only for that exceptional doctor.

Didn’t refund me after he didn’t show up for my delivery!

I grew up in this place. Dr. Chaudry has delivered all my children(3). HE HIMSELF is awesome. He listens, takes the time to walk you through and doesn't make you feel bad. Perhaps things change with time but the staff at the first desk are really short and rude. It's as if you are bugging THEM when you are asking questions trying to get information. There is one woman that has been there for a long time, I don't know her name but she used to be such a pleasant person to interact with. Although she doesn't handle the front desk anymore I would think she wouldn't allow the other women there to be so rude. The ladies that take your weight and vitals are pretty nice though. Don't know what happened to this place, might be time to find another Dr, which I have put off because I hate starting over with doctors I grew up in this place. I read the reviews online. I was actually new to the office. Dr. Chaundry is great. He delivered my second child and he was amazing. He knows what he is doing. As far as staff, you'll have to understand some may have bad days and some have good days. All staff has been really nice and pleasant. I have had no issues with them, from rescheduling because I had to work or coming on the weekend. I will definitely go back if I chose to have another child. I read the reviews online. I HAVE BEEN WITH dR. cHAUDRY FOR 18 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM STAFF IS EXCELLANT, VERY HELPFUL AND NICE. DR. CHAUDRY'S TAKES HIS TIME WITH YOU AND EXPLAINS IN DETAIL, SOMETIME THE WAIT MAY BE LONG BUT IT GREAT. fOR ALL THE NEGTIVE EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN OPINIONS. EXECELLANT DOC AND STAFF KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

I've been going to Dr. Chaudry since i was a teenager, he's very informative & friendly. He delivered my first child in 2015 and now will be delivering my second in 2018. I love ladies at both office locations.

The staff is wonderful

I have been going to this office and have never been treated rudely or nasty in the six years going there. Thank you office team keep up the good work.

Dr.chaudry's office is a little busy but he is very efficient and detailed. I would definitely refer all of my good girlfriends to see him.

I read a lot of these reviews as well as over hearing conversation just from sitting in the office listening to patients as they waited most of these patients are just impatient. Dr.Chaudry has been my OB/GYN for well over 5 years and I've never had a complaint with him. he is very detailed and patient oriented. my sister left Dr.Moore a well known OB/GYN in the area to become one of Dr.Chaudry's patients because she rather see the physician himself and not 1 of his many PA's, but to each is own. I've always had a great experience w/Dr. Chaudry.....would recommend women to visit him! He has a massive amount of knowledge and definitely lots and lots of experience....thank you Dr. Chaudry, you rock!

TERRIBLE Staff was awful Extremely rude, nasty and unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend anyone go there. I LOVE Dr.Chaundry he's very nice and supportive. Make sure that everything was okay with me I just don't like the staff who answered the phone she's rude as hell and I'm glad he moved to a different location because I won't be going there anymore I'm always there waiting for 2 hours but when he was there it was at least 30 or less no problems with him at all I appreciate everything he's done I LOVE Dr.Chaundry he's very nice and supportive. This is the worst dr. office that i have ever been to. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY AND IT IS WHAT THEY LACK!!!! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS DR OFFICE TO ANYONE !!!! THEY HAVE AMAZING DOCTORS BUT THEIR STAFF IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I have had issues with customer service but Dr. Chaundhry is so worth it I refuse to find another Gyno. And now he is close to me
