Wonderful Doctor!

Dr. Parikh was referred to me to become my GI doctor, and I would like to take the time to refer him to you all. He is an amazing GI doctor who truly cares about his patients. He is very understanding and professional. I definitely recommend Dr. Parikh if your a pt in need of a gastroenterologist.

Dr. Parikh is a very thorough, conscientious and careful doctor. He has taken me through various procedures and issues from a standard colonoscopy to much more complicated things and I feel so lucky to have had him in my corner making sure I get the very best advice and care. He makes sure I understand everything, takes the time needed cover everything thoroughly, and gets back to me promptly with any questions. Dr Parikh is an excellent doctor, however his office manager and billing staff are total con artists and fraudsters guaranteeing me that he and his services were within my insurance network and assuring me that I was 100% covered. Their fraud cost me hundreds of dollars in expenses in addition to numerous hours on the phone with the office promising to resolve the issue and refund the money I inadvertently paid. Unfortunately, after six months of runaround I am forced to hire an attorney to recoup fees fraudulently charged by this office. Very Pleasant doctor listens to your concern and does not rush you into testing that is not needed. I would highly recommended to anyone in need of a gi doctor. The staff is also very understanding and very good to work with.

My wife and I have had 3 colonoscopy with Dr Parikh . He is professional and an excellent Doctor . He is no nonsense and to the point . We will go to no one else

My experience as customer and patient is terrible. The doctor be haves unprofessional and treat the patients as a it, which he makes money with. I was for months waiting for his pre-op approve. So it is critical this decision regardles if it is favorable or not ,the point is to delivered as soon as possible to manage other options and avoid further more complications with my leg and foot . Not only he was late , but on top he created lots of excuses for his incompetent specialist. Please don't hesitate in wasting your time, money and effort with him. I have had three colonoscopies with Dr Parikh and he is absolutely the best. So easy and friendly and caring and he makes the patient feel so confident in him. Thank you doctor.

To start the staff is very friendly and understanding to your concerns. The doctor is very pleasant to talk to. I would highly recommend the doctor to anyone.

Excellent doctor but a horrible staff. Showed up for my appointment only to find out that the doctor was not in the office. Staff wouldn’t accept responsibility nor apologize. It was my fault that I showed up when I was supposed to.....

I never write reviews but this has got to be illegal! Spent lots of time & money there! Traveling far to see the specialist Dr. Parikh. Lots of invasive procedures & only a few months later I can’t my refills. The receptionist, Barbara the “work wife” to the doctor, you know the old lady that cakes on the makeup. Well she rules the roost! She stands between you & the doctor & if it’s something she’s never heard of like the doctor telling me & my boyfriend that I’m to take anti acid rx meds quarterly, well she won’t pass on the the message, won’t approve the insurance authorization for a pre existing refill, yet she’s NOT the practitioner. She’ll ask you why the doctor told you that, tell you she’s never heard of that in all the years she’s been with him. Asks if the rx was walked in or transferred AS if I changed the rx or something. Folks this is all in my file, there’s refills permitted by the electronically transferred rx from the doc & Barbara can’t click the box explaining -bloating, & fax to my insurance. The meds $3g out of pocket. And then she won’t pass on the message to the doctor or return my calls for telladoc appointment. It’s absurd. I’ve been trying to get it for over a month. A non narcotic rx for over a month! I’m outraged that a receptionist has the final say in my treatment and controls the actions of the Doctor. One word B...MASCARA! I was too angry to write this review directly after my horrible experience with Dr Parikh, but I feel compelled to share my experience to save someone else a lot of grief, time and expense. I didn’t know that Dr Parikh lacked the confidence to remove a simple polyp. After taking 2 days off from work, going through a miserable colonoscopy prep, and enduring the discomfort and indignity of a colonoscopy, I woke up after the procedure and spoke with Dr Parikh. Dr Parikh advised me that he found a polyp, he didn’t remove it, and that I was going to need to go through another colonoscopy with a different doctor. I found a competent doctor, and went through another miserable colonoscopy prep and procedure. The competent doctor stated it was an easy polyp to remove! I am disgusted with Dr Parikh! He should advise potential patients, that he will be happy to take your money to do a colonoscopy, but if you have any polyps, you will have to go through, and pay for TWO COLONOSCOPIES! Ridiculous and Unnecessary! I have been very pleased with the care and expertise I have received thus far from Dr. Parikh. I would recommend him without hesitation. Both Dr. Parikh and his staff have been extremely courteous and helpful and did a great job in preparing me for my recent procedure as well as the post procedure recovery. I've had 3 colonoscopies with Dr. Parikh. He's an excellent doctor and his staff is always on top of every detail in the office. I have experienced excellent care and his compassion is REAL!!! He's always super kind, no matter how stressed or worried I am, he's reassuring and avoids embarrassment. He explains things in wonderful details and I just simply LOVE him as a doctor and feel that any patient in his care, is in very excellent hands . . .

Very understanding doctor meets your expectations.

I was recommended to see him about month ago for a colonoscopy by my pcp and went ahead with the procedure and he found 3 polyps which he removed and followed up with me the day after to make sure I was fine and to give me the results of the biospy. Awesome doctor very caring and friendly. I give him a 5 start because he earned them.

Dr. Parikh has been amazing. His bedside manner is calm and collected and straightforward. He is kind and makes things understandable for me in layman's terms. I would highly recommend him.

He answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. It was a painless process. The staff was also great. They called several times after the procedure to ensure that I was doing fine. I would highly recommend Dr. Parikh and also told my referring Doctor that I appreciated the referral. My son also saw Dr Parikh and was very pleased with the service. I've been a patient of dr Parikh for over 10 years. I feel so safe with him. He cares about his patients and listens carefully. It's not easy for me to feel safe with a doctor, but I know he has my back. I highly recommend him.

I was dealing with extreme nausea for 3 months and went to Dr Parikh as he was recommended to my by another doctor. Thank God I had an appointment with another gastroenterologist lined up a month later. Dr Parikh does not listen or make eye contact with you while you are trying to explain the problems you are dealing with. I'm a 22 year old who was feeling very scared and weak at the time and he truly didn't care. He prescribed a medication that didn't work for my nausea and was going to schedul
