I tried to schedule hip surgery for three weeks, left 3 messages; no response, so I chose another doctor for my hip replacement.

Went to Dr. Kim for knee pain. Normal X-ray and examine. Confident in assessment and recommendation. Pleasant visit.

I’m feeling better already with the medication prescribed.

Dr Kim listens closely when your explaining what uour going through and what you need from him. The office got my epidural procedure for the back. This will support my hip procedure recovery process.

My first visit with Dr Kim and I thought he was outstanding. He was professional, thorough and demonstrated very good people skills. I am confident in his analysis and course of treatment.

An excellent orthopedic physician: He is compassionate and genuinely interested in listening to his patient. I came to Dr Kim for a second opinion on knee replacement: Dr Kim recommended hip replacement. My first visit with Dr. Kim was excellent, on time, and efficient. He listened, we quickly ruled out various options after X-rays were promptly taken, and we now pursue a course to solve the reason for the problem, not just the problem. I liked his frank, direct but pleasant responses to my questions. He may also be the first doctor ever to invite a review; that says a lot about his pride in his practice.

I was seeking a second opinion from Dr.Kim. While Dr. Kim has an impressive portfolio, I think he didn’t do due diligence diagnosing my case. He came with preconceived opinion based on discussion with the surgeon who operated on me. I expected him to better diagnose my case and at least do ultrasound images to explain the issue I was having. Nevertheless, I do recommend SCOS and Dr Kim.

It was such an honor and privilege to meet Dr. Kim yeasterday. He spent time with me explaining in detail the surgery process and recovery process and relieved a lot of my surgery fears. I have consulted with 2 different surgeons prior and didn’t feel as confident and safe as I did after my consultation with Dr. Kim. Although I am in my early to mid 40’s, I suffered from severe osteoarthritis. For seven years I limped around and chose occupations based on my chronic hip pain. I went for a consultation with Dr. Kim in March 2022. He gave me all of my options and I chose a total hip replacement. Less than a month later, after a peer to peer review with my insurance company, I was finally cleared for THR! He really fought for me! The surgery coordinator Stephanie was very helpful in helping me navigate all the pre-surgical clearance stuff! I am one-month post operation and healing great! Dr. Kim is a master of his craft! The replacement is absolutely perfectly situated. No complications. I am on my feet moving around getting back to normal life, with just a little post op surgical pain. Also, post surgery, Delwin (Dr. Kim’s medical assistant) has been responsive, and truly an advocate for my healing and recovery process. Very accommodating staff. The waiting time was short. Dr. Kim was very friendly, helpful and reassuring. He answered all my questions and I left feeling very positive about my upcoming surgery.

Dr. Kim took the time to listen to me. We were able to map out a plan for my hip pain. When it's time for hip replacement surgery I want Dr. Kim to be my surgeon.

Dr. Kim was really great. Super patient, professional, caring and very knowledgeable. My mother had hip surgery out of the area and she needed a check-up to make sure was healing up. While the doctor and x-ray techs were very great the front desk lady and nurse who checked us in were rude and uncaring. I simply asked if they received the records we had sent from the doc who did my mom’s surgery and they really didn’t care to find out and were so rude. Major turn off. Too bad coz Dr. Kim was awesome

Dr. Kim was very professional. And very thorough. I was in a lot of pain when I went into his office. Within minutes he gave me a shot that instantly made my knee feel better. Thank you so much for your assistance.

He was very pleasant, but my interaction felt very rushed. I don’t think I was in the office for more than a few minutes. Did not see him view the current MRI I had brought in.

I had minimal wait time to see Dr Kim. He’s very professional & also has a wonderful personality. His diagnosis was spot on & he knew exactly what to do with my knee.

This was my second visit to dr kim.. first time i visited him he was supportive and understanding.. Second visit he gave me a jel shot in my knee, I didn’t feel any pain, so far so good… He is smart and knows what he is doing … I wish he can stay longer in the room with his patients

Dr Kim is very professional, skilled and kind. In September Dr Kim replaced my left knee then in April he replaced my right knee. Both surgeries went extremely well and I’m so thankful not to have knee pain. I highly recommend him.

I love that Dr. Kim doesn't push surgery as a quick fix. He made sure all my several years' worth of questions were covered, and suggested a procedure I hadn't tried yet. I like his scientific approach, his calm, friendly, efficient manner. Just right for an impatient patient like me.

Dr. Kim quickly diagnosed a problem that was causing me pain for two years. He eliminated what I thought was giving me the problem. Lastly he gave me options going forward to evaluate.

Great experience, felt comfortable with Dr Kim and did not hesitate to schedule surgery.

Dr. Kim was all business. Based on comparison of prior errata, he knew exactly what to do and I was almost immediately my pain in both knees was significantly reduced.

Very caring, thorough and focused

First time needing an appointment with an orthopedic doc. This group is really dialed in. Overall great experience from check in, prep, X-ray and my visit with Dr Kim.

It was my first visit and it was great! I give Dr. Kim the highest marks on all fronts--experience, knowledge, patient empathy and concern, and professionalism. He really probed every issue related to my knee and it's 34 years of pain. And he did not push surgery, he was open minded and caring.

Dr.Kim gave me excellent advice. He was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. I have a lot of confidence in his medical advice.

Dr Kim was fantastic! I am so grateful for how he handled an appt for my elderly mom. Mom had unrealistic expectations for a procedure she wanted, thinking it would enable her to live like she did 15 years ago. I slipped a note to Dr Kim which explained my mom's expectations. Dr Kim compassionately explained to my mom that her post-surgery goals were not possible and the surgery could cause more harm than good because of her many medical conditions. He explained everything in an easy to understand manner. She was upset to hear what he had to say (she had been in denial) and Dr Kim told her at the end of the appt to take all the time she needed, and let my mom and I stay in the exam room for a while while she and I talked about the appt. Dr Kim's staff was wonderful and kind also, bringing Mom a box of kleenex and again told us to take the time we needed.

The Dr was extremely knowledgeable and listened to my questions. This was the most efficient Dr office I have ever been in.

Always on time, very thorough and provides detailed information.

I went into Dr Kim’s office in March on crutches and unable to walk due to pain swelling and damage to my knee. Lass than a month later he performed a total knee replacement. Helios bedside manners are impeccable. He cares very much about his patients. He listened and is very easy to talk to. He had to perform another procedure to manipulate my knee to get it to bend more. I am still recovering but doing so much better. I would recommend him if you plan to have a knee replacement.

Dr Kim was very thorough, he was so patient listening to and answering all my questions. Although I’m sure he had many other patients to see and things to be done , I felt I had all of his attention and he wasn’t acting hurried to get through the visit and move on to the next patient. He also asked what my biggest goal was (reduce pain vs kneecap stability), whereas another surgeon just wanted to focus on the unstable part which although important, surgery to simply fix that could Increase my pain. So I’m so thankful he took the time to Assess my case and needs as an individual and not just recommend a surgery based on my imaging but on my personal case and how my knee affects my work and my activities and home life.

Yesterday was my first visit with Dr Abraham Kim and I was so impressed. He’s the best Orthopedic ever. I’m very happy with him
