Dr. Adam J Cohen

I saw Dr. Cohen due to a clogged tear duct. His staff were very responsive and got me in very quickly. Dr. Cohen was wonderful! He thoroughly assessed the situation, explained options, and answered my questions. He even went above and beyond to get my DCR surgery scheduled within one week. The morning of surgery, he put me at ease but was very realistic about possible outcomes. I appreciated his kind and thoughtful bedside manner. I am now one week post-op and his care following the procedure has far exceeded expectations. Again, his staff has been tremendous with getting appointments scheduled quickly. I have been to both the Chicago and Glenview location and the spaces are beautiful, clean, and convenient. Admittedly, I am flabbergasted by some of the reviews, as the experiences are completely contrary to the experience I have had. I fully endorse Dr. Cohen and his staff and highly recommend!

Dr. Cohen has completely destroyed my eyes. I've consulted with 4 different oculoplastic and cosmetic surgeons and they have all agreed that my eyes are irreversibly damaged and there's no going back. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars to find a fix for a hosts of issues that he caused. I traveled to South Korea to try to have some of the problems fixed. I grew up being considered very attractive with beautiful eyes and now I look like a small-eyed alien. Thanks to him for destroying my confidence, self-esteem, causing depression, and suicidal thoughts. I hate this guy with every inch of my being. I'm currently talking to a couple of lawyers to file a lawsuit against him. Whatever new review posts that go up on yelp, google reviews, regarding eye surgeries with him, I believe, are all fake. Please read all the reviews you can find about him.

The dr is not a board certified plastic surgeon. $4600 and a year later and my eyes look WORSE. When at the consult I was shown what the dr “could” do to make my eyes youthful and take away the puffiness. If you’re considering eye surgery, I got a blepharoplasty go anywhere else. I might as well have taken $4600 and threw it in the trash. I’m gonna have to spend thousands more to get it done by another surgeon. Before and after pictures attached. Dr Cohen also told me there would’ve no scarring and that he would only make an incision along my lid but he lied because he cut on my lid and I now have scarring as you can see the bumps in the picture. I didn’t realize prior to surgery that he was not a plastic surgeon because he advertised like he is. So I suggest doing your research and choosing a plastic surgeon, not this Dr. North Shore Aesthetics has a Dr that is a board certified plastic surgeon. I can’t comment on the drs quality because Unfortunately I found him after I already got the surgery. I would recommend checking out that business, they seemed more professional and knowledgeable. And below where the business commented and said that I can reach out, I did. Numerous times I told my concerns to Dr Cohen and nothing happened and lots of times he didn’t even respond to my emails. Also, I called the board certification of plastic surgeons and they looked up the Dr and said he is in fact not certified. Dr Adam Cohen has been instrumental in my attempts to look the very best I can look as I approach my 74th birthday. He has performed a mid face lift on my face along with eye lid surgery both of which came out even better than I had hoped for. He has kept my wrinkles invisible with regular treatments of Xeomin. I have been a patient of Dr. cohen’s for several years. He is the only person I would trust for Botox and fillers. Recently, I had him place Nova threads. Aggie is the best! I have been going to her for many years and now my daughter goes to her as well. Our skin looks and feels amazing and youthful. I found him to be Very competent, kind, and helpful. I had a long complicated history which he knew little about and he had to make numerous decision very quickly. He took immediate steps to try and uncover what was causing the loss of my peripheral vision and did everything possible to ensure my well being in the process. I Would highly recommend him.

I did a lot of research and chose this doctor to remove a cyst near my 2 year olds eye that a regular opthalmologist would not touch. Surgery went perfect and incision healed nicely with no deformities. Dr. Cohen was very professional, had a set plan, was easy to communicate with, and his office staff was very friendly and easy to get a hold of. I can only give one star is because of the service. Although I had an appointment with Dr Cohen, I was made to wait over an hour which I think is a scheduling error on someone’s part. I also had to deal with insurance for hours on the phone for months after my appointment, and realized the issue was that the nurse who took down my insurance had butchered my name so my insurance and name didn’t match. When I called to complain, I didn’t even get an apology, I was told that “human errors happen”

Remarkable knowledge, skill and understanding of a potential visual loss problem - Giant Cell Arteritis. Dr. Cohen arranged and performed timely bilateral artery biopsies with cosmetically hidden technique. He called with path report as soon as it was available. A dedicated expert multiply trained and boarded physician.

Dr . Cohen did my surgery 4 years ago and I can't be happier with my results. I start seeing Aggie three mouths after my procedure to keep up with my youthful appearance. Aggie did some laser procedures and I could see results in just 10 days . I love this office and everybody who works there . I can't say enough good things about this practice. Aggie is a true professional! After facial laser treatment, my skin looks smooth and flawless. She is also a master at microblading eyebrows and just about anything else you might need. Aggie is a true professional! She knows skin care and what works for each individual skintone and texture. After my laser treatment, my sun spots were gone and my skin looks absolutely flawless. Dr. said he would send skin removed to lab for testing - I still haven't gotten results and it's been over 2 months. I called and emailed and did not receive a response, however, when I call the receptionist she said that the Dr. responded already; which is a lie. In addition I was billed even though I gave insurance at the time i visited so I had to call back in to clear that up. Then i received a bill from the lab group which I haven't received results from; and the Doctor's office did not forward them my insurance info. I do not recommend - very very disappointed. Dr. Cohen is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. His staff members treat their patients with compassion. My eye disease has taken a bad turn. Dr. Cohen and his staff have worked tirelessly to care for my eyes and worked with the insurance company to make sure I was covered. Thank you so much.

Dr. Cohen participated with a neurosurgeon on a very complicated brain and eye surgery for me about 4 years ago. The neurosurgeon from Evanston Hospital trusted him implicitly and so I did also. The surgery was a success and I have continued to see Dr. Cohen. He recently did an eyelid cosmetic surgery and I trusted him to do that also. Very pleased and I would recommend him highly.
