Dr Possner is an excellent, careful and caring medical practitioner. In our annual examinations, he is very thorough in his review of our medical conditions and in his recommendations for continuing good health. At other times when we have needed medical care – he has been super-responsive and his suggestions/treatments have made a significant difference to our health. When we’ve emailed him with questions or requests for advice, he responds very promptly – and with very helpful and constructive suggestions. Given his energy, intelligence, and expertise we know we are in really good hands entrusting the management of overall medical care to him. His offices are modern, clean and well maintained – and our office visits are professionally handled with no significant wait times. We unreservedly commend his practice.

Back in January 2021, I had a sudden hearing issue in one ear where Dr. Possner's care and contacts made all the difference in making sure my hearing didn't get worse. I started with Dr. Possner about a year ago. I have a rather complex set of medical conditions/issues, and I needed to find someone to assist in the overall management, as well as on going care. I went to several different doctors, but could not find one that offered the level of care I was looking for...until I found Dr. Possner. I can say without reservation that he is one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure of working with...he is very attentive, very active in your care, and has an exceptional staff. He consistently goes above and beyond, and ensures that all my doctors are consistently updated and kept in the loop. He takes his patient care very seriously and has a strong network of other doctors that are top in their field (if you happen to need a specialist). I recently had a health scare and Dr. Possner took the time to be take a holistic approach to help me. My experience with Dr. Adam Possner and The Rockville Concierge practice has been the most possitive I have had since our family's general practice doctor back in the 1950s. Dr. Possner actually listens to the answers to his questions with follow ups and without judgement inviting more confidence and cooperation. That care and involvement does not end when the office visit ends, but continues with easy contact afterwards. The office and staff are friendly, inviting, clean and pleasant.

Dr. Possner is the physician to go to if you can go out of your insurance plan. I wanted and needed more from my Internist than I could get unless I went to a doctor who could give me more than 15 minute appointments. I wanted and needed an Internist who had the time and the interest to listen to me, be in touch with my specialists, and could do my lab work in his office so I no longer need to go to another location which was inconvenient. When I went to the doctor because I was sick, needing to go to a lab located in a different location was a hardship. This summer (2017) I began to seriously think about finding a concierge physician. Dr. Possner practices medicine the way it should be.I wanted a physician who would know me and be in touch with my specialists. I am grateful that I am able to be a patient of Dr. Possner. His staff is very nice and always friendly. I am never rushed as he is not forced to see patients every 15 minutes as most doctors must do.

I've been seeing Dr. Possner for 7 years . It's my perspective that he is the best doctor that I've seen in my life. He was first recommended by my sister who is also an internist. His training is excellent too. He went to University of Michigan med school & Johns Hopkins for his internal medicine residency where he was chief resident. He listens well, asks good questions, explains his reasoning clearly, has a nuanced understanding of my personal medical case, and has excellent judgment.

Dr. Possner is a fabulous internist. Kind, friendly, highly intelligent with a wonderful fund of knowledge yet very easy to talk to. He explains things thoroughly and treats me as an individual. I feel as if he includes me in decision making and shows concern about all issues, no matter how insignificant. I was completely sick of being on the patient mill with my former doctor's practice. The doc seemed to have about 10 minutes for a physical and 3 minutes if I was sick. Anything beyond a Z-Pack was referred to a specialist- who of course couldn't see me for two weeks. I wasn't a patient. I was just a number. I was looking for something different. I had heard of concierge doctors where you pay a flat fee per year and your doctor actually gets to know you, when you are sick you can be seen same day, phone calls are returned. Getting recommendations from friends, I came across a lot of practices that were full. Then we found Dr. Possner who came from GW and joined Rockville Concierge Doctors. In checking him out, we found that he had graduated #1 in his class from Michigan- he certainly had the credentials. My experience has been fantastic. My physical was comprehensive. Waiting room times are non-existent (and you are offered coffee, tea or water). He answers emailed questions quickly. Most impactfully, my wife threw her back out last week and we were going to go to the ER. Dr. Possner actually offered to come by the house and made a house call! In 2017, that just doesn't happen. Having recently moved to Rockville I was looking for a new primary care doctor. My previous doctor’s practice was, to me, the model of what a doctor-patient relationship should be: no 15-minute time slots, no nose buried in a computer screen, a doctor who carefully listened to what I was saying, and a doctor who was exceedingly competent. I was getting disheartened that I would find one again. It was then that I discovered Dr. Possner. Dr. Possner clearly cares about his patients. Joining Dr. Possner’s practice was one of the best decisions I’ve made. He seems to view medicine as a calling, not just a profession. When I discuss a medical problem with him, he actually listens, taking into account my concerns and personal situation. He’s very prompt and effective with e-mails, too. Dr. Possner goes out of his way to work with other medical professionals, which can be incredibly helpful given today’s fragmented medical care landscape. Dr. Possner has been our primary care provider for several years now. When we first met him, he was at another practice. When he left that practice, we followed him to his new practice at Rockville Concierge Doctors, even though we live 45 minutes away and even though it would cost us more for care. Why? Because Dr. Possner provides a level of care that we hadn't found with any other primary care provider. He really takes the time to know his patients so he can deliver personal care. This was always true for Dr. Possner—even when he worked at a standard (chaotic) practice—but with the concierge care model it's even more true. I'm impressed that I can contact Dr. Possner with questions and concerns whenever I need to. Recently I cut my finger badly with a kitchen knife and was able to text Dr. Possner photos of my finger. We spoke and he determined it didn't need stitches; he set out a course of treatment for me and checked on me over the day and the following days with follow-up care and questions to monitor my progress. As a busy working mother, I can't tell you the time that saved me. Dr. Possner is my primary care physician, and I recommend him to anyone who wants an intelligent, thorough, and caring doctor. He is remarkably accessible, thoughtful, and truly cares about his patients. I have always been able to reach him, immediately, either through my portal or by calling. Not only does he spend as much time with you as you need, but he reads and reviews his patients' records from other physicians, and previous physicians. He's a superb physician in every respect.

Dr. Possner provides wonderful primary care on a concierge basis which is the best possible way to have guaranteed access to your doctor.
