Dr. Aditya Vikram Maheshwari

Hi my name is Tatiana Drayton. In July of 2016, i had hip replacement surgery on my left hip perfrormed by Dr. Aditya Maheshwari. After that surgery i was left with a terrible painful foot drop. This year in January 2020, i had another hip replacement in my right hip. This replacement was done by a wonderful doctor at another hopital. That surgery went very well with no complications. I know for a fact that my first hip replacement done by Dr. Maheshwari was a complication done by his hands. When he aligned by hip which was uneven with the other hip he ripped my peroneal nerves that caused my foot drop. My foot drop has improved somewhat over these 4 years, but i still have tremendous pain. I'll have this pain for the rest of my life. With all this being said Dr. Maheshwari has shown no empathy or compassion for my injury which is caused. I'm not saying hecaused it deliberately, but because of his carelessness i have suffered tremendously. Like i said he has shown no empathy, compassion or sympathy for what he has done. He gave me a nonchalant apology that didn't even seem sincere. From his attitude & demeanor you would of thought i damaged him. The only thing that was damaged was his ego. He called me once almost a year after the injury pretending to care. The only reason he called was because a pain doctor in a higher position who is not working at Downstate Hospital anymore told him to give me a call & show some concern. I'm not telling anyone they shouldn't go to Dr. Maheshwari or tell him perform surgery on them, that's totally you all decision, i just have to speak my truth & my experience. I had a terrible experience at the hands of Dr. Maheshwari, that has changed my life forever. But God and my faith has helped carried me through, and also with God's power he'll give me the strength to carry furthet. I'll leave Dr.Maheshwari faith in God's hands, because that's the one he's going to have to answer to not me. All i have to say about Dr. Aditya Maheshwari, is that he's a egotistical, incompassionate, unprofessional man who has to deal with his own demons & answer to a higher power when it's all said & done! This doctor is amazing. He saved my mom's leg from amputation.

an excellent doctor in every ways. very professional, human, always ready to listen, skilled and professional in his field. My mom had a hopeless condition with her leg (had 2 previous surgeries in Europe with no results) and we were lucky to have Dr. Maheshwari as our surgeon here in US. he saved my mom's leg and life. Mom is happy and energetic again. can not thank enough to this doctor for his effort and professionalism he put in my mom's total healing process. Thank you Doc.

Sees to many patients in clinic which is only once a week. He also does not manage his patients pain according to the patient without making them feel like a drug seeker.

Dr Maheshwari was part of the surgical team who operated on my daughter at Washington Hospital Center. We will be forever grateful for his exceptional skill and care during the most challenging time of our lives. My daughter had limb salvage surgery and Dr Maheshwari sewed her up so expertly that her scar is barely noticeable today.
