Dr. Katz is very thorough with her exams and she takes the time to explain any concerns that she may have and answers all questions that you may have.

I am working in Medical field since more than 25 years ,and really I cannot give her clinic more than one star, of course ,this is for the her medical assistant ! and not recommend her if you want your doctor to take the time to listen and review your history, or to understand your disease !! I've seen her for the first and last time !! worst bedside manner and no explanation or planning. The visit would be less than 6-7 mins. And she would stop you from talking and ignore your questions, then usher you out. Only stuck with her because I wanted to get my issues seen as soon as possible and I had given her name .!!!

I FIND DR KATZ TO BE VERY HELPFUL AND CONCERNED ABOUT ME TAKING CARE OF MY HEALTH.

Dr Katz is a brilliant doctor - very thorough and knowledgeable. I am headed to full blown osteoporosis and we are trying to head off a fast decline - she is scientific in her approach and I have Confidence in her abilities.

I'm only giving her one star because I can't give her zero. This woman needs to learn manners. She doesn't have any censor and dosen't take responsibility for her actions. This woman is the most inconsiderate nincompoop ever. She made my mom cry right when she came home. Instead of speaking to the patient as she should, she spoke to her daughter(me) as if my mother was an idiot or invisible, neither of which she is. This woman needs to have her license revoked!!! This woman needs to be taught how to treat people the way she wants to be treated. Even all of her staff knows she is rude and disrespectful. The environment of the office is cold and unfriendly. My mother was treated inhumanly and not as a person. Dr. Katz has no beside manner and has a problem admitting she has made an error and prefers to blame the patient rather than rectifying the issue. I will definitely not be going back let alone letting this woman practice any medicine on my family members. Be warned!!!!!

One of the WORST experiences I've ever had - with a doctor or a business. They left me a message before my appointment (which I still have) to say they had all my medical records but when I arrived they said they did not have them. When I questioned the receptionist/nurse, she insisted my other doctor told them I refused to sign a waiver - which of course was not true. She told me "this isn't my problem." Then Dr Katz came into the room and told me "I do not have your records. If you want an appointment you can stay if not, you can leave." I was trying to respond, she cut me off and said loudly "We are not arguing about this, we don't have the records, if you don't like it leave". She is rude and obnoxious. She's not fit to interact with patients with that attitude. Why does she think this is acceptable? She should be responsible for the way she behaves. This should not be tolerated by Englewood and they should really consider if they want to be associated with her.

If there were zero stars I'd give it. I was referred to Dr Katz by another doctor at Englewood Medical, who I had a wonderful experience with. He cautioned me when he recommended her "she's not warm and fuzzy but very good", so I went ahead and booked an appointment. One of the WORST experiences I've ever had - with a doctor and a business. Dr Katz was the worst doctor’s experience of my life. She was rude and judgmental. I went to Dr Katz for help managing my type 1 diabetes, but she looked at me and said I’m too fat to have type 1, so it must be type 2. She said her goal for me would be to get me off of insulin (which would have killed me if I listened to her). She also said my diet is terrible and when I protested that I didn’t even tell her what I eat, she said “well obviously it’s terrible.” She handed my stack of medical records to me and said she doesn’t know why I brought them, it would be a waste of her time to read them. She also berated me for my lack of exercise. When I told her I was in terrible pain due to other autoimmune disorders, she told me to suck it up it’s not so bad (actually, it is). I’ve never reviewed a doctor online before, but I want to prevent others from experiencing the humiliation and nastiness that I did. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

I was amazed to find any negative reviews about this brilliant endocrinologist. She may have a lengthy wait sometimes in her waiting room, and doesn’t want you to ask questions until she reviews your chart and test results, but she is an amazing doctor who literally saved my life! Although I wasn’t even her patient all those years ago, when another doctor recommended that I see her for a consult because at that time I had almost no white blood cell count because of another doctor’s Incompetence, she felt that it was an emergency once she heard my scores and opened her office up early so she could see me before her other patients. I switched to her and she has been my doctor for many years. I would be dead now if it wasn’t for her compassionate and excellent care. So, if I sometimes have to wait a bit on her office I don’t mind because I am so lucky to have her as a doctor! Highly recommend! She got my thyroid condition under control and has never let me down.

First and last visit ever to this doctor. She has no bed-side manner, is rude and obnoxious. Never again!

Fired this dr. Cold as ice. Snob who thinks its her way or the highway. Would not let me get in a word in edgewise. Interrupted me with my opinions about my own body, thank you. Her office schedules 5-6 patients for the same time slot, then be prepared to wait in a crowded waiting room. Shes rude and obnoxious and never asked me once how I am doing. She’s a robot and I felt like a number and a cash cow to her. When i called the office to voice my concerns, the girl laughed at me. Rude

After seeing all the negative comments on Dr. Katz, I think I should give another perspective. I have been seeing Dr. Katz for 3 months. In that time, I have lost six pounds and cut my diabetes medicine in half following her recommendations. I get that her bedside manner is not the best, but that is of little concern to me. I am seeing a skilled endocrinologist. I have several other family members who are also patients of Dr. Katz. I also find her willing to answer my questions.

If I could give this doctor "NO stars", I would. Dr. Katz is a very cold clinician who only wants to hear herself talk. She jumps to conclusions prematurely, orders unnecessary blood and imagining tests. Dr. Katz has no time for patient history or questions. She is always 45 minutes to an hour late to your appointment. And often leaves room during appointment to address other patient's results from other doctors.

My daughter and I went to see her twice. We felt her to be in a huge hurry the first visit. So we said we will give her one more chance. The second visit was after more lab tests and ultra sound of the thyroid. She did not explain things to us. She was curt and rude. We are going to someone else next.

I waited about 10-15 minutes, the staff there were very friendly and efficient, and most importantly, Dr. Katz was very sweet and thorough. She spent a lot of time to make sure I understood what I needed to do for my condition and answered all my questions. I would recommend her.

I saw Dr. Katz yesterday to review ultrasound results for my thyroid. I had the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had. She never sat and looked me in the eye she sat in the corner at a desk and fired questions with no discussion of any answers! She told me a medication I was taking was unnecessary (2 endocrinologist recommended I take it) with no discussion or explanation. She spoke coldly about looking for cancer on biopsy . She was cold and nasty and I would never recommend her

I was a patient of Dr. Katz for at least three years then finally decided it was time to change after being berated and made to feel like a five year old, one time too many. First, the walls in the examination rooms are quite thin, so you can hear everything she says to her patients; and vice versa. One is subject to double booking, long wait times, limited seating, unfriendliness of the staff; and these things are compounded by her lack of bedside manners. Also she doesn't always remember you.

Dr. A. Katz is one of the most thorough doctors I have been to, you mat wait to see her but she is truly worth the wait. Not only does she care about her patients she will go the extra step to make sure all avenues are covered. I recommend her 150% and I trust her the same. To some it up Dr. Katz is an A plus physician.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Katz a few weeks ago for a diabetes and thyroid consultation and it was honestly one of the worst visits I've had. My appointment was for 1pm and I didn't see her until about 2:45pm. I tried to talk to her about my family medical history and my current issues and she gave me cold responses and the visit itself was rushed. I was so unhappy that I refused to go back. Will not be recommending her to anyone.

Long waits...long lines..she wants to see you every 2 weeks. Take some snacks and water when you go see her cause by the time you get to see her you will be hungry...staff doesn't care how long you waited for.

She might not be the sweetest or compassionate doctor which I think it's important for a patient and to feel comfortable to talk to a doctor. She knows what's she is doing and does care for the wellbeing of the patient in her own way.

After waiting one hour we were treated rudely and with a complete lack of respect. Doctor does not listen nor give you a chance to express yourself. Displayed a complete lack of manners and common decency. Unless she was the last specialist in her field we would not visit her again.

Dr. Katz may be competent at looking at lab results and adjusting medications appropriately but do not expect anything more than that. They schedule MULTIPLE patients for the same time and there is often not a place to sit in the waiting room. Dr. Katz may spend 90 seconds with you on a good day but she is not receptive to questions or concerns you have. She is bossy and short tempered and clinically very cold.

She continuously makes you wait even if your first patient of the day. Does not listen to you and does not remember you or what she has done. She has taken payment from insurance and then sent a bill saying not paid. She does not have any bedside manner and a little rude when talking about patients appearance. I made the choice to look elsewhere and am much happier.
