Dr Abando's staff were very prompt in scheduling my appointment. The doctor immediately recognised the severity of my problem, was thorough in his diagnosis, and reacted swiftly to schedule my urgent need for surgery. In doing so, He reviewed my unique medical history and explained the treatment thereby required in a relaxed positive manner. My wife (a retired RN) and I feel very comfortable about my initial visit and the next step of the process.

Very nice staff. Very energetic and caring!

Everyone was nice and motivated. Loved the vibe and look forward to returning.

He is very nice, had a good energy and made me feel super confident, I connected with him immediately!

I walked in not knowing what to expect hoping for a good experience after having been a patient of another specialist and surgeon in a different city. I lost confidence in that doctor's "willingness" not his ability to share medical info with me concerning my body, test results , and needed medical procedures going forward --- he "offered" no explanations to inform me of what was, is, or could happen to my health---even as I probed! I stopped trusting his care and recommendations during my most recent "last" visit! Oh BUT, Dr. Abando to the RESCUE!!! I found him online based on specialty and location. I read his reviews. From the moment he entered the room and spoke his FIRST sentence, it was TRUST at first WORD. His servant leadership manner, probing questions, displayed empathy, explanations using the chart, listening and summarizing abilities, recommendations that focused on my health, goals, body and budget (which put little to no money in his pockets) the time he took to speak with my husband over the phone to explain how he can best support my medical goals, were ALL so reassuring and shocking; I cried tears of JOY while speaking to my husband.And, I was still crying and thanking his staff as she entered the room to take me to my next step. Even she hugged me! The whole TEAM is attentive and caring! On this day my blood pressure was high...on the next morning when I returned my numbers were so low I felt like an athletic teen...I finally had peace, a plan, and soon positioned to regain my personal power and prowess to maintain my health as before. I "can get by with a little help from my (doctor)". I left with a positive life changing experience!

Everything was awesome

Best surgery and the assistance were very good.

Dr. Abando is so kind and friendly, and so comfortable to talk to. He is thorough, asks lots of questions, and isn't dismissive of your concerns.

Great down to earth doctor that made me feel very comfortable from the start.

He is not greedy, Dr. Abando looks honest when I spoke with him, he is not after money like other doctors, his whole staff is very nice, total coast for surgery for my hernia, his stuff provided on paper that includes doctors fees hospital fees anesthesia fees with phone numbers to call and find out, other doctors and hospitals will charge you after surgery and they will charge you what ever they want to collect from you. I recommend this place for hernia patients.

Just started my journey here and I'm impressed so far. The staff and business seem really organized and very informative. Step by step information and very helpful. I'm glad I chose this place rather than the place I went to before when I started researching weightloss surgery.

Felt welcomed immediately and comfortable. Was a bit nervous on my first visit but they made it very pleasant for me. I am very excited for the journey I'm about to go on.

My buddy and his wife both used Dr. Abando for their hernia surgeries. I’m so thankful I asked for his referral. So far, everything has gone as he warned, if not smoother. Dr. Abando has a great bedside manner. He explains things in layman terms & he speaks with you & not at you.

Dr. Abando and his staff were great. They took the time to explain my diagnosis, treatment options and any other questions I asked.

Dr. Abando is extremely caring and provides great treatment and advise to his patients. Really good guy and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for help!

Pleasant, genial surgeon who did an excellent job,

Not only is all of the staff amazingly nice but Dr. Abando is stellar as well. We were greeted warmly by everyone in the office, the nurse took the time to speak with us and even joke with us. When Dr. Abando came in he came in with a smile and an amazing attitude, you could clearly see he cares about his patients and that you are not just another number or number on the scale to him. He listened genuinely and provides constructive feedback rather than criticism and telling you that everything is your fault. He is realistic without being awful and deflating to you as a human. I've been fighting with Baylor Scott and White for well over a year. Dr. Abandon made me feel comfortable and really made sure my concerns were met. Would recommend this practice to anyone.

Well to start the front desk was nice,an i didn't have to wait long before i was call to the back. Dr. Alan so nice an very easy to talk to he appeared to very concern about me an my health.VERY HAPPY THAT I CHOSE THIS PLACE AN DR.

Dr. Abando is a wonderful surgeon with a great bedside demeanor. His entire staff and nurses were top notch. I’m very comfortable one day after my surgery thanks to all of them.

Dr Albando was comforting, professional, personable and seemed like he genuinely cared.

After needing to reschedule multiple times due to my own conflicts, I was happy to finally be able to make my appointment! The staff was so kind and informative, Dr. Abando was delightful and quite insightful! He answered all of my questions and was comforting and kind! Katie helped me with any questions I had regarding the different appointments that I needed prior to surgery and did not mind at all when I called for clarification on a few things! Wonderful

Simply the best you can get, if you live in or around Austin.

A good, very explanatory doctor knows the procedures that each patient needs, he explains to you what is the difference between each one of them, kind, affectionate, very strict in his procedure and with his work team and very strict with each patient. I love the results and I like the team. of work.

Dr. Abando has been amazing from start to finish. He is friendly, takes the time to listen, and is trustworthy. I would recommend him 100%!

From the moment I got to the clinic to the moment I left, I was treated very well and the staff was so professional. Made my experience pleasant and easy.

All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Abando was very personable and knowledgeable. He explained all of my options and answered all questions that I had. I had a totally satisfying experience with Cedar Park Surgeons.

Dr. Abando and everyone in the hospital were great! My son had his Gallbladder removed and everything went well! I would like to also add the staff at Dr. Abando"s office are really nice!

Dr. Abando was above and beyond our expectations, his professionalism is impeccable, but his humanity, kindness, and care are what make him one of the best in the business. My wife and I were both blown away and knew we had made the right choice to work with Cedar Park Bariatrics and Dr. Abando.
