Excellent physician!!!

Great first consultation meeting with Dr. Beyer on 01/27/2022. Went in to see Dr. Beyer for my right knee which has a partially torn meniscus, some arthritis and a small Byers cyst. I had an MRI done before my consultation, and brought the disc and report. They did an X-ray on both knees when I was there. I was very impressed with the receptionists, Dr. Beyer’s nurse, medical assistant and PA…not to mention Dr. Beyer himself who was outstanding! He is very kind and sweet and has EXCELLENT bedside manners. A very caring and excellent doctor! Dr. Beyer explained the course of treatment I would receive, based on my overall situation and images. Great surgeon, one of the best. The email and online follow up and lead up to surgery is outstanding as well. Incredibly efficient and well done from start to finish. The only thing is if you want personal attention and to build a one on one relationship with your surgeon, this practice may not be the best fit. Very good experience with Dr. Beyer for two knee surgeries.

I had a total right knee replacement in feburary and a total left knee replacement in july by Dr Beyer I had bone on bone pain and arthritis in both knees plus i was so bowlegged the closest i could get my together was 4 inches now i can touch my knees together having these surgeries straightened both legs Dr Beyer is the BEST! I am still in the physical therapy stage following my surgery, but everything feels like it is going to be great! Years ago, I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee, and it has been a mess and painful to walk on. A total nightmare! Following my knee replacement surgery with Dr. Beyer, I no longer have a sideways protruding lower leg or the pain I have dealt with for years!! Dr. Beyer, his staff, and everyone at HOAG Orthopedic have been exceptional in all ways. I highly recommend Dr. Beyer if you are in need of this type of surgery.

He really came in the room just for less the 5 minutes. I had knee replacement in 2018 and my knee is killing me as of today. Having revision knee replacement soon with another doctor.

Simply put, I can’t imagine going to any other doctor for a joint injury

Excellent surgeon, great staff, everyone is knowledgeable and spends time with the patient.

I’ve had two total knee replacements with Dr. Beyer, one in 2015 and the other in 2018. Dr. Beyer, in my opinion, is the BEST!

I've had knee problems since I was a teenager and there was no question i would have to have them replaced at some point in time. While on paper I'm too young for it, 48, it was time. I'm so very happy with everything Dr. Beyer and his staff have done to help me. I had the worse knee done in March and five months later did a 12- mile hike! I had a meniscus tear in my left knee and entrusted Dr Beyer to perform the operation. I have been an active martial artist for over 38 years and wear and tear took its toll. Dr Beyer had me practicing again in 3 weeks time and the results were flawless. I give him the highest recommendation

Dr. Beyer is the doctor you want if you have knee problems. (I knew I had chosen the right doctor when the surgical nurse said she sent her father to Dr. Beyer to fix his knee.) It has been 10 days and my physical activity is about 90%. Not only is Dr. Beyer an excellent surgeon, but he is also kind.

Dr. Alan Beyer and his orthopedic surgery team are "Top of the Line." After a full knee replacement on one knee, and a meniscus repair on the other knee, I couldn't imagen any better service than I got from this team. The surgery is smooth, professional, and well done from the marking of the correct knee to the well-placed bandages. After you return home, you will get an email "check in" every day with questions on how you are doing and a section to ask any questions you may have. Here is the great part. They actually read the results of your check-in, the same day, and respond to any concerns of yours or theirs. You can expect him to be ON TIME for his office visits. Excellent follow up. Dr. Beyer is available when needed and is there for his patients. A wide variety of post operative therapy is provided for a full recovery. The office staff also provides a great measure of support. Appointments are honored promptly. Highly recommended.

Dr Beyer and his team are very kind and professional, He's a great surgeon, who's very confident, and knowledgeable ,with a great sense of humor. He really makes you feel at ease, and comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him for all your orthopedic needs.

Dr. Beyer diagnosed and repaired my knee quickly. I had a very quick surgery and I am on my way back to normal. He listens and I highly recommend him, his office staff is also very good.

He was very attentive to what I had to say. He was genuinely concerned about my problem. His answers for my treatment were very detailed and informative. He comes highly recommended by at least 5 of my friends. He will be doing my knee surgery and I have no fear all will turn out great.

Dr. Beyer's performed surgery on my knee to fix a torn meniscus. I was shocked that I did not need crutches or a cane after the surgery. This was a big surgery and decision for me, full knee replacement. Dr Beyer made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. I felt very safe after speaking to him in just a few minutes and knew I was in good hands. I will be recommending him to others.

The doctor uses a daily check in service to monitor pain and progress. Any concerns are quickly addressed through this service. I had a torn MCL. Dr. Beyer was confident and direct in his diagnosis. He was very clear "it will never get better" because it was torn and recommended surgery. He was very good about describing the procedure and what to expect in my rehabilitation. Total knee replacement and one week later doing pretty well.

Waiting time is short. Dr. Beyer will sit and answer all of your questions. I had a total knee replacement two weeks ago and I'm walking with a Cane.

Dr Beyer diagnosed the problem immediately, confirmed with MRI, scheduled surgery within 3 days. Surgery successful and then physical therapy for 6 weeks and now back to normal activity, including golf.

While total knee replacement is anything but a joyous experience the team has worked very very well to try and make it all fit together ”painlessly". Yes while it is anything but a painless experience they have worked well to try and control all that between the office the hospital and PT

He's at the top of his profession for a reason... Vast experience, extreme confidence... Doesn't waste your time. I was at the young end of the scale (58) for those needing or wanting a knee replacement. He talked alternatives first trying to put me off a few years. I told him my situation... Pain, continued gradual deterioration, had a floating bone spur necessitating arthroscopic surgery anyway, the fact that these replacements​ now last 25 to 30 years... So why put it off and have yet another surgery... With knee replacement still to come. He looked me right in the face and said "you're right, let's do it!"... And walked out. He obviously knew that point of view... He wanted me to have that understanding and tell him I saw it the same way. He knew mentally I was ready. After all, it is a major procedure. I'm only at 2 weeks... It still hurts, it still sucks... But I'll get there. And his team stays in touch with me daily via their email communications, long before, and long after the operation. Very thoughtful in making decisions in regards to my lifestyle and interests. I'm a junior high teacher with big dogs, love to hike and do Pilates. Dr. Beyer is an outstanding surgeon, getting a full knee replacentment had me scared, but through it all, he reassured me that the process was going to be simple (as simple as you can lol) and the pain was not intense at all.
