I've been a patient of Dr. Davis for many years. He is very thorough, listens to his patients, communicates effectively and is the mostly caring surgeon I've ever met. I've had several procedures/surgeries over the years and have total faith in Dr. Davis. I have recommended him to several friends and would highly recommend him.

I love Dr Davis and the staff. Donna is the lady that does all the calling and scheduling. I love talking to her. Tten there's miss Lisa. She keeps telling me its just Lisa but I was brought up to be polite and it slept sometimes. But Lisa is the one who does the blood pressure and asks the questions. She is very nice. Then we see the Doctor. Who is Dr Alan Davis. I have been going to his practice for atheist 4years. He has done a double hernia on me . He has performed colonoscopy. Many times. He has removed a fatty tumor that was bugging me. And he gas done endoscopy. Many times because of my Gerd. The reason that I respect this Doctor is because after my hernia surgery I had complication in the recovery part and the place I won't blame waited 6 hours before telling him I'm still in the hospital when I should have been gone hours ago. It was about 7 at night and he came to the hospital and he laid unto them people requesting a meeting with the head people . He made me feel very safe. After that problem which had nothing to do with him it was my o2 not doing right and another issue I have to deal with. But he told me that everything will be OK. I have read some of the remarks on here about the person who answered the phone is not professional. We that lady does more than just answer the phone. If you ever have an appointment with them you will see. I recommend this office to anyone who needs the help that this office provides. I could go on and on but I'm going to stop. Very knowledgeable and he listens and cares! Literally the best doctor I’ve ever met.

I called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist was very unprofessional! After saying hello her response to me was “who is this” after I gave my greeting and asked about the initial process of scheduling an appointment for potential surgery her response was “what do you mean just schedule an appointment”. This lady was very rude from the beginning and had minimal patience for dealing with a possible first time patient! I wasn’t rude and difficult so I wasn’t expecting such short and harsh responses. I’m an Executive Assistant so I know and understand that we are the voice and face of the business! I had to ask her over three times to place a manager on the phone! She placed the phone down without letting me know. Once the manager picked up and I explained what happened she stated well I just arrived and have no idea what took place but how can I right the issue! Just turned off that I am looking for a professional place that’s willing to treat everyone with respect with superb customer service versus dealing with a grinch! Dr. Davis is an amazing physician. I was in significant pain and had seen 3 other doctors, who said I was "just having stomach issues." Dr. Davis had tests run and found the problem by the 2nd visit. I have been his patient for several years and trust him completely. He truly listens to his patients and then makes time to communicate with them on what he believes to be the issue. Wish there were more doctors like him.

My doctor referred Dr. A. Davis as a new patient, however, I will need another referral because with speaking to the registration desk, there was so much confusion. First I called the NWH office, and had to listen to a partial office conversation before the person said hello, (that should have been a warning). Second, I was transferred, and the person politely explained I would need to call the Cross Road office. I did. The person I spoke with was very confused in understanding my responses to 'her' questions. Even though, I restated my answers 3 different ways. I'm assuming 'no' is not a good response, and 'no' with a couple of explanations are not a good responses either. I take this as a sign, if the people representing the expert are unprofessional, and confused, then I need to see someone else. This is not the doctor for me. Especially, since I will need follow-up.

Dr. David and his wonderful staff helped my mother through her cancer surgery with not only exceptional medical care, but also with great compassion and caring. His personal attentiveness went a long way in helping Mom recover well. You can't find a better doctor! Thank you, Dr. Davis!

What a great experience! The initial surgery appointment was very informative and relaxed. The surgery was absolutely great! People were so nice and attentive. Dr. Davis is a very knowledgeable man with many years of experience. He actually called me at my house after the surgery wanting to know how I was. I was doing very well, thanks to him and his staff at Northwest Hospital in Baltimore. I think the last time I got that kind of treatment was at the Four Seasons resort in Maui. I cannot say enough about Dr. Davis and his staff of wonderful caring people.
