Doctor was respectful and did a good job of answering the questions I had. The front office staff were kind as well.

Dr. Gaines is rude and condescending. I dont say this after one experience. Ive seen in over the course of 3 years and every visit is the same. The only time I have ever left his office ithout being aggravated is when someone else saw my daughter. He does not listen, he likes to her himself talk, often repeating himself. If you have complex issues that he cant figure out, he will give you homework just and then wont remember a thing about it. He is not someone that I would recommend to anyone who has serious allergies, he will waste your time all while being arrogant and moving about it. Dr. Gaines is rude and condescending. After switching to Dr. Gaines from another local allergist with whom my son was with for years, we couldn’t be happier. My son loves Dr. Gaines and the office staff! Glad we made the switch!

Dr. Gaines has treated me for 15 years with excellent results relieving allergy and asthma symptoms greatly with medications and immunization shots. The office staff is patient, kind and thorough. It is easy to get appointments. I visit the Cumberland RI office

Dr.Gaines is a really polite doctor when seeing my daughter. The referral process was fast and accurate. Never had a problem both times we went there for treatment and testing.

The office staff does not know what they doing,two different people spoke to me ,one said they did not have a referral from my doctor another said it was received and in the wrong doctors name. They actually thought I was a mother of a child patient when I told them my name they said oh so sorry we don’t have a referral for you .I went to my doctors. Office on a Saturday to get a copy of referral and upon arriving they said I had to pay upfront or reschedule it was in the wrong doctors name. I went a week itching working taking my allergy medicine preparing for my allergy testing spoke with two office associates at this office obviously someone received it in wrong doctors name and never contacted my physician to correct the problem.Note they have 90 days to obtain the referral and and bill but refused to see me . Terribly unimpressed with the miscommunication, and if you accept MA blue cross you should be able to go online to check and receive them as a participating provider.I am an office manager and I was in charge of that office the staff would be I some deep trouble for this patient experience .
