Dr. Alan Gordon

I would not send my enemy here. The unprofessionalism is beyond belief. My first appointment I had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment to begin or rather for her to collect my paperwork off of the counter. Then another 30 minutes for my appointment to begin. What’s my appointment finally started the dentist was OK but after my cleaning, my teeth were sore and I had not had a problem with sensitivity and months. In fact, the reason that I have scheduled the appointment is so that I can get a head of any sensitivity. He told me that I had to schedule my feelings which I did. For the first appointment, which was the cleaning they left me a voicemail while I was working. Back if I needed to cancel my appointment which I did not. Which I was not able to answer the car because I work dentist hours. when I arrived for my second appointment, they told me that they cancel appointments when we don’t answer the confirmation calls. That does not make sense to me because I did not receive a confirmation call for this appointment in the first place for them to say something like this to me. Also the voicemail that the first appointment had left was saying that only needed to call back if I needed to cancel the appointment which again I did not. I sit down for my appointment and I’m waiting another 30 minutes. I don’t appreciate the unprofessionalism and I seriously cannot take it. The only reason that I came back to this facility is because my teeth has been sensitive since the cleaning that I received at this facility so I wanted to give them the opportunity to fix what they did. When I asked after my first appointment, what teeth needed to be filled the receptionist could not give me an answer, and did not go to ask for the answer either she gave me a general response that did not make me feel comfortable. This is not acceptable for this type of establishment. Customer service needs to be on point communication as well. Especially how do you tell me that I need to confirm my appointment so that your time is not wasted but you have me leaving work early for no reason wasting my time in return.

Dr. Nick Gordon is an excellent pediatric dentist. He works well with children. All three of my children have been going to him for the past 5 years. He had provided first class care to my family. I am glad we choose his practice. I also see Dr. Allan Gordon at this same location. They are incredible. Please go see them . They will take great care of you. I haven't visit Dr. Gordon in a while. Only because I relocated to SC but because of his excellent treatments in the past I am planning to make an appointment and commute back north to receive dental care that I can trust and come out with satisfying results and a beautiful smile. In the past I have had a root canal, deep cleanings and teeth pulled. Fully satisfied on every visit. He has been my husband, daughter and my dentist over 2 decades and we all highly recommend him to our friends and family.

Dr Alan Gordon is a wonderful dentist .My teeth were in bad shape I couldn't hardly smile. Now my teeth look and feel great . My mother goes to him also and she is very pleased and satisfied with the work he has done also.

came here for teeth cleaning and fill-ins. he wouldn't do the all fill-ins in one day. Also, I had one tooth that was cracked in the back and I'm no dentist but I asked if I should get it removed as air was coming in and it was sensitive to heat/cold. the dentist proceeded to have me come in twice so that he could "fill" the tooth because the first fill-in was still not useful. he stuck some pointy object up my tooth which caused more pain and it didn't fix anything. instead my tooth ended up cracking and I'm going to a more knowledgeable periodontist. I feel like they just wanted money for a fill-in that wasn't necessary when my tooth should have been removed in the first place or I should have been referred to a periodontist. came here for teeth cleaning and fill-ins. he wouldn't do the all fill-ins in one day. This Dentist Office is Very Professional,Kind, Loving, Caring, Punctual and Dr. Gordon and his Staff will definitely satisfy you!.. I strongly recommend you paying this office a Visit, it's a Blessing and Sweet Spirit in this Office!

I love Dr Gordon !! I have been going to him for years and he always gets me together . If there are any issues his staff gets it squared away. Dr Gordon is a great dentist in my opinion ????????‍♀️

If you want professional and home felt environment, then this is the Place!! I honestly didn’t think it could get any better after meeting the staff!! But Mr. Gordon is superb, he’s give you relaxation and takes away the anxiety we all get , when seeing the Dentist. Also I have states insurance which is excepted here, but for my special needs Definitely upgrading my insurance so my whole family can come here. Don’t clean tools just rinse with water. Tell lies regarding your mouth and when it will be fixed .

The best cleaning ever in addition to an exceptional staff that is professional as well as patient centered. However the dentist does not listen very well, wanted to dispute everything regarding my past dental experiences. Not a good fit for me.

I googled to find the nearest dentist to my location for my mom and this location appeared. Dr Gordon was not only professional, he was extremely caring. My mom can't stop singing his praises. He in now my dentist, my cousin and her husbands dentist and soon to be my daughters dentist. And to top things off...his staff is a reflection of him...Professional! Gentle Doctor makes sure your comfortable and he's very clean, the staff is friendly as well

Dr. Gordon's staff is very courteous and friendly. I listened to relaxing jazz music during my last visit. The office is within walking distance of branch avenue station. I received excellent dental care!!!

My 1 yo saw Dr. Nicholas Gordon for his very first dental check up. I was nervous (what adult likes the dentist?) and my son was nervous. However, Dr. Nick made us feel at ease. He told me exactly what to expect, how to hold my son during the exam, and answered every question I had! I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Gordon has been my dentist since 1988. He is professional and has a wry sense of humor. Over the years I have not cared for a few of his front office staff, but the staff he has currently have been extremely courteous and proficient. If they or anything else present an issue, I have a straight forward talk with Dr. Gordon. Thank GOD, Dr. Gordon is a patient person because I am a patient who says exactly what I think! Additionally, over the years I have introduced a husband and two daughters to Dr. Gordon's practice. We have lived and worked throughout the metropolitan area, but we continue to come to Dr. Gordon because of his expertise. Both my husband and I have recommended Dr. Gordon to our colleagues and friends. They typically remark, "You go all the way to PG county for a dentist? He must be good!" My experience with Dr. Gordon was good. He was nice, didn't engage much but did his job and did it well extracting my tooth, which is why I was there. On another note, his staff was exceptional. The receptionist/front desk female was overly nice and very respectful. Being that we are both young black females, she continuously addressed me as ma'am, which was surprising and pleasing. The dental assistant was just as respectful, attentive and nice. Usually I love the doctor or dentist and hate the staff. They were overall a good office and my emergency visit was very pleasant. This dentist is very unprofessional and has a poor bedside manner. As I was waiting for Dr. Gordon to clean my teeth, I noticed that the bag containing the "sterile" equipment was torn and had holes. It also appeared to be water-damaged. I politely asked w/n his office sterilized equipment in-house or were new tools used for each patient. Dr. Gordon said they used an autoclave in house. I then asked if this was why the bags looked to be damaged. He said yes. I also asked him if there were any studies about the use of water piks and gum recession. I noted that since I'd recently gotten braces, I'd been using a water pik. Dr. Gordon responded that a lot of studies are on the internet but he didn't know of any related to gum recession. He went on to note that there's a lot on the internet. I agreed with his last statement and noted that over the past 6 months I had seen news articles about several patients who were infected with hepatitis A by their dentist, and another article about a young man who died during a routine dental procedure. Instead of asking why I was concerned about the water pik, or w/n I had noticed any dental problems since using one, and w/o having any knowledge of the articles I noted, Dr. Gordon scoffed at me, and asked if I believed in the moon landing and the events of 9/11. To add further insult, as I was leaving the office, he said he "would pray for me." As if! Dr. Gordon's rude, arrogant and unprofessional demeanor was unwarranted and for this reason, I will no longer visit his office as a patient. If you want a dentist who'd rather insult his patients than be professional and answer dental-related questions, then go see this man.
