Dr. Langerak cares about his patients and their concerns regarding their cancer condition. He knows it can be devastating and emotionally upsetting to the patient and the patient's family. He takes his time with each patient and answers all questions and concerns and explains in detail the type of treatment the patient needs.

Staff is friendly and puts you at ease for your visit with the Oncologists. Dr. Langerak explains every part of my treatment and asks questions to insure I am doing well.

Everything went fine. My son went with me, and the doctor was very polite to him. None of my family had gone with me before.

Ordered tests as needed to evaluate condition. Honest evaluation feedback on results. Provided me with possible conditions.

Dr. Langerak has been wonderful every time we have visited. He listens and takes into consideration what you want and how you feel and they adjust things accordingly. We were able to decide on a treatment plan together. I am very pleased with the whole situation and treatments are going well. Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Langerak has a pretty good grasp on my health situation. I am comfortable taking his advice and believe he will do his best to keep me going! Thanks Doc!!

Dr Langerak and his team are the best! He is considerate, listens to what you have to say and doesn't mind explaining things and having a conversation. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the wait times to get in are ridiculously long. I guess that's what happens when you're seeing the best!

I really appreciate how Dr. Langerak takes his time to talk with me and answer questions. His insight regarding the "big picture" of my health concerns has been very helpful and reassuring.

Good listener, no rush, answers all questions

Easy to talk to, answered all our questions. Nursing staff were all great, especially Julie. If you have to have chemo this is the place you want to go to.

I see Dr. Langerak for my C.L.L. From the beginning, two years ago, he has been a most comfortable physician, one you can easily talk with. He explains things in "plain English", and offers encouragement with this disease. Frankly, as my condition is not life-threatening, and likely won't even reach the stage for medication, due to my age, I appreciate our "visits."

Dr. Langerak is not just a great doctor ! He is a great person ! I believe he honestly cares for the people he's treating & it shows ! ! ! !

Dr Langerak and his medical assistant Amanda are absolutely amazing. Personality, warmth, empathy, and support .... they listen and care yet follow the current standard of care to assure your treatment is the right one!!!! I'm so fortunate to have them on my team .... Being a new patient of Dr. Langerak's, I have seen him 3 times and each time it was very supportive. I transferred to Prescott Valley because we moved here from Tucson where I was a patient with Arizona Oncology beginning in 2012. I am fully confident that Dr. Langerak will provide me with the care I need to stay well and maintain my continued good health. I always prepare pertinent questions and show him all my copies of my test results, which he answers very specifically. Dr. Langerak is very polite & informative at every visit ! A true professional in his field ! At the end of our appointment , he always asks , if there are any question I have for him, I would recommend him to anybody searching for an oncologist ! ! !

Everything was done in a timely manner. Personnel was most helpful.

Dr L has been treating me for MM. When I first found out, I was sooo frightened. He promised me he would get me through this and by gosh he has. Dr. L is thorough, understanding, and LISTENS. He is results oriented. He is there to get his patients well, yet during visits takes necessary time to answer all your questions with as much explanation as is necessary. I have never ever felt rushed. He definitely sets a standard all medical professionals should follow. And from what I can tell, all staff, from PAs to nurses, techs, and office people are of the same ilk. I warn you tho, to me the PV waiting room is dreary-dark; but the upside is there are pleasant faces and smiles behind the glass!!!

My visit with Dr. Langerak went well. We reviewed my most recent PER scan and blood test, and determined the plan for the next phase of my work toward improved health. Dr. Langerak presented information and replied to my questions. All in all, a quality visit.

Dr. Langerak is not only very professional, but very pleasant to discuss my current medical condition. He always listens to me and answers all my questions. I am in very good hands with him.

He has always been cordial,and coveys a sense of deep knowledge of the disease I have been battling for several years. He seems genuinely interested in how his selected treatments are affecting things like quality of life and attitudes of those who are my caregivers. His explanations of what to expect as we progress are thorough and greatly appreciated, as are his candor and, when appropriate, his humor. Also, we appreciate that he is punctual and has followed up on questions we've asked of him. Every appointment includes discussion of blood test results,followed with reasons for the results and what I can be doing to help keep the numbers where they should be. We always feel fortunate that he is our oncologist.

Always engaged with patient; makes good recommendations; has a sense of humor(so needed in these specialties); includes spouse in conversation; displays kindness and compassion.

This visit was for an injection only. Tammy, my nurse, did a most excellent job.

Dr. Langerak is very empathetic and understanding. Listens carefully to what I say and offers suggestions to help me deal with whatever my concerns are. Always gives me plenty of time for my appointment. Never rushed appreciate him and all the staff there.

He was very helpful when he had to give me more bad news. He seems to always give me hope and cares how I feel Have been with him for a couple of yrs.

On behalf of my husband and myself, we commend Dr. Langerak and have recommended him to friends in need of an Oncologist.

There are at least four things that he has told us he would do that haven't gotten done. It is difficult to tell if it is because he is too busy or if he simply forgets once he leaves the conference room. It also may be because he asks others to follow up on things he says, but he doesn't follow up himself to see that they were done. He seems to be attentive, but I only see him once a month for 45 minutes and that isn't enough. I have no way to contact him directly but must go through a layer or two of others in the office who may or may not have direct access to him. Would I recommend him? Yes. In Prescott and Prescott Valley, there aren't alternatives and he seems to have helped to reduce the cancer threat to this point.

Dr. Langerak and his medical staff are first-rate. I couldn’t be more pleased with my treatment and follow-up at his oncology center.

We are so lucky to have Dr. Alan Langerak here in Prescott , AZ. He was highly recommended to me by my breast cancer surgeon as the BEST oncologist in AZ and that he had moved to Prescott which did not have many options is a huge bonus! Please stay in Prescott Dr. Langerak, you are so appreciated and so skillful!

Dr. Langerak was very personable, knowledgeable and patient during our first visit. I did not feel rushed or belittled by asking my numerous questions. I am happy to say this was THE most positive first visit I have ever experienced with a specialist. I left feeling as if he was a long time friend. I am blessed to have found him.

When you're battling cancer, finding an oncologist that you can connect with is extremely important and I felt a strong connection with Dr. Langerak from the start. Not only did he put me at ease from the get go, he always took time to listen and answer any questions/concerns I had. I moved here from Denver, Colorado a year ago so finding a great oncologist, as good as my former oncologist, to continue my care, was very important. I found that in Dr. Langerak and I will miss him.

I have always found Dr. Langerak easy to talk to. He and his staff are very forthcoming. I hate to see him go, but wish him the best in his return to Arizona. A cancer diagnosis is very frightening,especially since I lost a younger sister to breast cancer several years ago, but everyone at St. AL's has been fantastic!!!
