Keep away from this office totally unprofessional. I saw the doctor on 3/14 and called the office on 3/15 to speak with either him or his PA. Both of them seemed extremely nice on my visit. I had a question about my treatment that I wanted to discuss with them. I never received a call back and tried everyday of the week and was told by the nurse that they would relay the message. It’s now 5 days later and I still have not received a call back. Extremely upset about this. Keep away from this office totally unprofessional. I am Roberto Carneiro. Doctor Alan Nieder patient at Mount Sinai Hospital with stage 7 prostate cancer. Upon seeing him for the first time and seeing my PSA numbers Doctor Nieder immediately sent me to special MRI, then performed biopsy and cystoscopy. After 4 hours surgery on October 8, 2021, this marvelous surgeon saved my life. I am writing this crying with so much emotion so happy to be alive. Few days after surgery Dr. Nieder walked into my hospital room and told me that he had removed the entire prostate and all the cancer cells. And that the result of the pathology was that i am now free of Cancer. Doctor Nieder I will always be eternally grateful for giving me a second chance to live and enjoy my wife, daughters and grandchildren. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your kind, professional experience, knowledge, artistry and everything else plus your wonderful staff both medical and office.So much compassion, love, care. I also want to thank the entire Mount Sinai Hospital Miami Beach and the Surgical Center. All the nurses on the 6th Tower of the Skolnick Surgical Tower, 24/7 where I stayed for 7 days and nights.Nurses, technical staff, janitorial all who showed so much compassion and loving care. I was called promptly to fill out papers for a new patient! Shortly thereafter I was called by Rodney. a nurse, who took down my medical information. He was polite, a good listener and very professional. I then received the visit from Dr. Nieder who also listened to my medical situation carefully and evaluated my medical condition based on the symptoms he was already aware of! I am thankful to Dr. Neider for a second time. In 2019 he saved my father’s life by removing a bladder tumor and now he gave me back my health. Thanks to him I went back to urinating normally and I am eternally grateful with him. His professionalism and knowledge are truly impressive, and also he is accompanied by an excellent team. Went for second opinion. In spite of having described my situation prior to arriving and his profile suggested it was a area of expertise, left me with a doctor I didn't know or requested.

Dr Neider is a fine physician and I’m so grateful to him for bringing me back to health. As to office visits, his team functions really well to minimize wait time and his scheduling allows for time to explain results of the visit and testing. All I can say is if every doctor’s office was run like his there’ be fewer grouchy patients.

Very educated staff at the front desk. I saw Dr. Nieder today he listen and referred me to another specialist. I will follow his advice hopping to find relief to my condition. The nurses were very attentive.

Dr. Alan M. Neider is the most condescending and rude doctor who I've ever gone to. I went to Dr. Neider because I had a CT scan done with my PCP and was referred to see a urologist and have further testing done. He did not listen to me or my symptoms, barely asked what my symptoms were..he spent the entire appointment berating me about my weight and how being overweight isn't "pretty" and makes me look "unprofessional". He then asked me what I did for a living and told me that if I want to look professional I need to lose weight. He did not talk to me at all about why I came in to see him. His staff must have felt bad because they pulled me aside and told me "he is really passionate about weight loss." To which my response was "then he should have been a different type of doctor." It was unacceptable behavior, his entire staff made it clear he is uncomfortable to be around. He wasted my time and wasted my money. I work in TV production and am always busy. He is an outright mean person, with some sort of superiority complex who has no business caring for others. I reported him to his head at Columbia University and also to Mt. Sinai. Dr. Nieder is extremely professional, and came highly recommended from one of his peers. Though the office wasn't close, his expertise was worth the drive. Everyone at the office was very friendly and his operating team at the hospital was also highly professional. Overall, a smooth experience considering my diagnosis; a positive outcome in the end. Dr. Nieder is still the number one physician/surgeon I would see if I had another renal cancer occurrence.

Actually I haven’t met or seen Dr. Nieder; however I assume he was part of the team that did an Urolift on me since he is in the same practice as Dr. Cordon who is my physician. The procedure went well and I’m seeing great results two days after. For this reason I give the 5*.

My husband saw Dr. Nieder several years ago. He did a physical exam and said everything seemed fine. Then the PSA came back high. We went immediately to another doctor who did an exam and said, "He missed THIS?" Evidently, the tumor on the prostate was quite obvious. We went back to Dr. Nieder, who had seen the PSA result and now wanted to do another physical exam, probably to cover himself. My husband politely refused to allow him to examine him. Dr. Nieder seemed offended by this and by our other questions. Then he went out of the room before he finished talking, loudly discussing details of my husband's health as he walked down the hall. This is the only negative review I've ever written about ANYONE. I was reluctant to write it. Not all doctors have a good bedside manner, and I'm OK with that. But this arrogance without the skill to back it up? No, thank you!

Dr. Nieder promised to call me back as soon as he retrieved some information from another doctor. He never did. I made several call to his office. I didn't get any response. All I got was a bill of near USD $ 300.00 for a tele consultation that lasted less than 10 minutes. I do not this doctor exhibited a professional behavior.

All the personnel were efficient and responsive to my needs. Your mambo queen, Dr Perez, phone consultations were marvelous. My doctor recommended to see this Specialist for a second opinion. I was in bad pain when I got to his office thinking I was going to be helped but I have never seen such an arrogant careless and unprofessional doctor. He came in rushing into the room while the nurse was about to take my BP as I was starting to explain my symptoms he walked out, he brought in his assistant and start taking to her in a rush and didn't allow her to examine me, he ordered a culture without looking at the results of the one I have provided him. I felt so offended I walked out. I have contacted my insurance and placed a complain so they don't pay him for a service I didn't received. I pay to see a doctor no the other way around this visit was waist of time money and left that office in worse pain than before.
