He always provided us with all of the information, helped us understand it and didn't abandon us to make significant medical decisions on our own, because we were often faced with unknowns. He also cared enough about us to help us find research hospitals that might be able to shed more light on our unique situation.

I have lots of allergy and immune issues, and could not breathe well. Dr. Pakorny performed surgery to help with the breathing. He has been top notch with solving my health issues, and the surgery unit nurses and anesthetian were very involved and watchful of any dangers I may be in. I'm so appreciative! Thank you all!!!♥️

Dr. Pokorny performed a procedure to correct a deviated septum and turbinate reduction for me a six weeks ago. The outcome exceeded my expectations. The staff at Spokane ENT was efficient, professional and explained everything to my understanding every step of the way. Dr. Pokorny's explanations pre-surgery were easy to understand and follow up care has been excellent. I am glad I had this surgery. I would recommend him to anyone that asked. About 2 years ago Dr. Pokorny did Deviated Septum and turbinate surgery on my nose. It has been a nightmare since. I have a harder time breathing out of my nose now than I ever had. My mucus/phlegm that I use to blow out of my nose stays in the back and I have to hack and cough it out. My nose is constantly dry or plugged up. I seen another Dr. after getting no relief from Dr. Pokorney and he said my mucus/phlegm had been redirected. He did a procedure to try and reduce the mucus that brought little relief. He then said there is nothing more he could do. Everyday is a nightmare as I am constantly hacking/snorting and trying to cough/spit out phlegm/mucus. There are actually days I feel like I can't take it anymore. The surgery has destroyed my life and Dr. Porkorny and his staff did nothing to help me. I would give everything I have to undo it.

I've been seeing Dr. Pokorny since 2013. My second sinus surgery was performed by Dr. Pokorny. The surgery went well and recovery was good. I was very pleased with the results. I continue to see Dr. Pokorny regularly. He has provided me with excellent service and most of the time I am symptom free. Dr. Pokorny and his staff are very professional and personal. I would recommend Dr. Pokorny to any of my family or friends.

Dr Porkorny and his MA Heather are a caring and professional team. He has provided me with attentive and professional care as we have navigated through my myriad of sinus problems. I am confident in his abilities and pleased to unequivocally recommend him.

Dr. Pokorny performed a septoplasty and turbinate reduction for me a couple weeks ago. The outcome has far exceeded my expectations. The staff at Spokane ENT were prompt, professional and excellent communicators. And Dr. Pokorny has been direct and unfettered by irrelevant distractions during our interactions. I am thankful that I found him and would recommend him to anyone that asked.

I was very happy with my experience with Dr. Pokorny. I felt that he provided very good information about my procedure and he did not appear condescending in answering my questions. He was very late for one of my appointments because he was dealing with a medical/surgical emergency. I was not bothered by this.....I, too work in the health care industry and understand that emergencies can and do occur. I have been delayed in seeing my own patients because of an emergency....it just happen....

I waited over a year to post this and after a consultant with a surgical center that this Dr referred me to. I had my septum straightened as well as a turbinate reduction; one of my nostrils felt as if it were blocked and the goal was to help me breathe. We discussed my concerns and during this I repeatedly asked for assurance that my nose wouldn't be more crooked (it was slightly, but not very noticeable). The doctor assured me that if anything, my nose would be more straight. Well, here I am and I can tell you that not only can I now not breathe out of the opposite nostril, I still have issues with the original one. To top it all off, my nose is noticably changed in direction as well as the tip having one side poking out a bit, and my self esteem has taken a big dip. After going back to Dr. Pakorny and talking about this, he stated there was nothing he could do to help the breathing or anything else and referred me to a facial plastics clinic. During my visit there, I was told again that nothing could be done other than a procedure that might actually narrow my nasal passage while trying to help the breathing. So to sum it up: I still can't breathe and I now have a nose that has made me hate to look in the mirror. I'm not sure why there are no Google reviews, but here is mine and I hope it helps. I waited over a year to post this and after a consultant with a surgical center that this Dr referred me to. I had septoplasty and turbinate reductionto help me breathe. I discussed my concerns, repeatedly asking for assurance that my nose wouldn't be crooked. He assured me that if anything, my nose would be more straight. I breathe worse than before and my nose is noticably crooked as well as the tip having completely changed. I hope this helps others so they don't end up where I'm at.

I am very pleased with my surgeon he explained everything to my husband and myself and I am on way to a healthy new year!

Just like the previous comment, Dr. Pokorny was impatient will my child with special needs. My child was dealing with 2 ENT issues. He fired questions one after another and as I was trying to clarify the symptoms he was rude and short with me. He was very impatient with my child and did not try to get to know her. At the end of the visit I was trying to bring attention to the 2nd issues and he was rude and blew me off. Bad experience with Dr Pokorny.

Dr. Pokorny is the most awful doctor. He doesn’t know how to work with kids. On July 28, 2016, my 3 years old daughter had an appointment with him, because she had a bad smell from her left nose. Dr. Pokorny took my daughter’ head and squeezed it between his legs, and made 2 assistant hold her. My daughter was crying and yelling: “Mommy, it is so painful.” Dr. Pokorny did not do any good, just made my daughter scared and wound her nose. My daughter never had that bad nose bleeding in her life
