I’ve been a patient here for a year. All I can say is they do a superb job cleaning and taking care of my teeth. I can’t believe I’m writing this just for a sole reason of disgust with the customer service of the one scheduling appointments (Michelle). Rude. Sometimes that one thing can change the whole look of the business and I myself right now will find another dentist just because of her. Well it’s me and my wife so that’s two, and I’ll let my friends and family know too. It’s really convenient when my family is out of town and you get a call from a 3-6mo long appt that if I don’t show up today I’m gonna get charge for it and yes Michelle you can have my $25, it sounds like you really want it. So amazing. Seriously go beyond checking all the boxes. I could write an essay on them but I'm lazy. I've had a crown, cleaning, whitening, afterwork", and next are fillings from doc poremba. So great!

Outstanding staff and dentist. I won’t go to anywhere else. The warm, friendly welcome, the professionalism...I don’t know why I waited this long. Big thanks to all at!!! I no longer have a fear of going to the dentist!!!

Wonderful, caring staff. I love this office! The front desk is always available via phone and email. I’ve only seen one hygienist and she is so sweet and always listens to your concerns. She’s great at talking to you during your visit so the time goes by faster :) And she’s great at remembering you. The Dr has made house calls in the evening to check on you. I went to Dr. Poremba for Invisalign. He is a kind, understanding person and made me very comfortable. My teeth were straight years ago, but became very crooked in the past few years. In fact, my front teeth were crossing. My treatment plan was 20 weeks with the AcceleDent - I wore my aligners just as I promised my wonderful dentist and used my AcceleDent every day (about 20 - 22 hrs a day). AMAZING!! My teeth are STRAIGHT!! He even finished me up with some filing and professional whitening! Thank you, Dr. Poremba! I went to Dr. Poremba for Invisalign. Needed a new dentist after my previous practitioner took an admin role in his practice. I felt so welcomed by the receptionist staff, to the dental hygienist and the attention I received. The care was gentle, very "caring" and person centered. Would highly recommend this practice

Professional and friendly staff. They are so attentive and best of all I had no pain at all during my deep cleaning. Finance and payments were addressed up front and right away as well as options. I WAS a patient at Desert Springs--After my experience I am no longer. Beware!! My gums were bad so they talked me into complete dentures (upper and lower). At this time Dr. Poremba counted all of my teeth, then had his assisant re-count all my teeth, then he re-counted again just to make sure. They then presented me the total cost of doing all the work to completion. I agreed and signed their paperwork for the amount and work began. Dr. poremba pulled all my teeth in about fifteen minutes (I was shocked) About 28. At this time they requested that I pay 50% of the bill which I did. After the healing time I went back for a fitting of the dentures and discovered they charged me an extra$ 200.00 for another tooth they claim they did not see--DUH--after counting three times. Then after the healing time they said there would be a final re-line which was covered in the initial cost. BUT not they charged me another Approx. $285.00 for the re-line. I have been a patient at Desert Springs for over 6 years and I love the personal attention I get from Dr. Poremba and staff. I always feel welcome, the staff always remembers me and my questions are always answered. Small, one dentist office. Dental assistant and hygenist have been there for a long time. The office is clean and the equipment is modern.Short wait. Dr. Poremba goes above and beyond! if I had a procedure he will call to ask how I am doing, if I call on the weekend he will call right back if not answer the phone. I wish I could find a family practitioner with the same criteria, in my opinion this is the way most doctors should practice! When you walk in the surroundings are welcoming and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Poremba seems like a great dentist thus far. This was my second appointment. He doesn't try to sell you something you don't really need and explains things to you clearly. For example, my previous dentists would tell me I should bleach my teeth, on my first appointment, I asked how much bleaching treatments cost and he simply notified me that I really didn't need the procedure because my teeth had a normal shade of white. Dr. Poremba is caring, professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Desert Springs does an excellent job understanding the life needs of dentistry and does not just cater to the wealthy with expensive insurance and whitening/cosmetic concerns. Although I'm sure he'd prefer more patients like that, you would never know. He has treated me and my partner over the past year and been sensitive and respectful to our needs to schedule work and pay over time, and end up with quality dentistry that lasts. I am not saying anything negative against Mr. Alan S. Poremba, DDS personally, or his dental work. I am a patient who has no insurance. I went in to get a tooth pulled because a crowned root canal he did a few years ago broke and got infected. I was in pain. Mr. Poremba pulled the tooth and recommended a 3 tooth bridge. I agreed and advanced money 2 times for this expensive procedure costing $4686. I had a financial emergency incident where I needed the advanced money returned and am unable to complete the process at this time. I wanted to pay for everything that had been done so far, and give the dentist his professional fees canceling the bridge until it became affordable. I have not been fitted for the bridge and we have not ordered it, because it takes 6 weeks for a pulled tooth to heal, then you need to have an impression made for the bridge and order the bridge and wait for it to be made. When it comes back to the office you get it put in. I do have a problem with Mr. Poremba’s office manager who told me she was unable, and unwilling to give me the actual itemized costs for each procedure over the phone.Giving her a second chance, sending her a certified letter she came back with the same negative response. In addition she informed me they never return advanced money and that even if I never came back and had an impression made for the bridge, and/or never had the bridge inserted, I would still owe the Dentist the balance on work that remains uncompleted. I find this a terrible response for uninsured people today. I would never recommend anyone to this dentist again unless you had a really good insurance program that covered everything. If you are without insurance as many people are, I would say go somewhere else! Desert Springs paperwork does not disclose any itemized costs. Looking over the dentist’s financial paperwork I have in hand, there is nothing in writing that clarifies any of these billing/payment rules. In addition the costs on the paperwork are only related to the final completed bridge, which I have not even gone in to get fitted for, much less had the dentist order. The office manager was nasty on the phone making me very mad. When you are in pain getting mad is not the answer and solves nothing in a meaningful manner. I have had to go to other resources and ask for help so I can properly pay for the services rendered and gain a return of the advanced monies for services not rendered. I remain unsatisfied, I remain in pain, because the job is uncompleted, and my advanced money for services NOT performed has not been returned. When I would have gone back to finish this bridge as soon as I could afford to because of this incident and the evident greed demonstrated over my advanced monies I will never go back. Dr. Paremba is a very patient, friendly and knowlegable dentist. He treats you as a person and not just a patient. The entire staff is wonderful. Tracy is an extremely knowledge person and makes everyone feel comfortable. She is just an exceptional people person.

Dr. Poremba and his staff are absolutely fantastic. Everyone at Desert Springs Dental are very personable and knowledgeable. My children and I have always received wonderful care from Dr. Poremba and his staff. I have and will coninue to recommend Desert Springs Dental.

I was referred to Dr. Poremba for invisalign. I've have flared front teeth and always dealt with the insecurity. Recently, I decided if there was a safe and effective method to correct my teeth without the normal "metal-mouth" then I would give it a shot. Dr. Poremba and his team made this somewhat scary decision and transition easy. He is superbly attentive, patient and caring. I tend to have a lot of questions and he more than indulged me. I have been a patient at Desert Springs Dental Care for about two years now. I appreciate their state-of-the-art approach to dental care. My entire patient file is on chairside computers at every step of my treatment. All of my teeth are mapped and cataloged, all of my x-rays and gumline measurements are immediately accessible. My favorite things about each visit are the friendly reception and billing staff and the super-friendly hygienist who makes sure to keep me entertained during my twice-annual teeth cleaning sessions. I also recently did the at-home whitening treatment using the custom-fit dental trays they fitted me with. The process of getting fitted for the trays was quick and easy.
