Alan Rosenbach is truly a professional in his field. He goes above and beyond with his medical services. I not only respect him as a Dermatologist but as a person as well. I highly recommend Dr. Rosenbach for your medical needs.

Experienced, knowledgeable, and empathetic health care professionals are hard to come by these days, but Samantha Zarling is one such professional and I am so happy to have found her through Dr. Rosenbach’s office. I’d initially gone in thinking I’d be having a routine appointment for some minor skin discoloration only to learn that I had developed an autoimmune condition that needed regular treatment. Ms. Zarling handled every aspect of delivering that diagnosis with grace. I required a prescription that needed insurance authorization and she managed each step of that process with diligence, and even called to follow-up with me to ask if I’d received the medication and had any questions. I’d never had a health care professional follow-up like that and realized how much of a difference it makes knowing your health team actually CARES about you. She’s the best health care practitioner I’ve ever had (with knowledge of a doctor) and I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Dr. Rosenbach is hands down the best doctor in LA I have ever seen and sadly I have seen a lot of them lately. I was normally pretty healthy but when I moved to LA I got very ill and my health declined. One of my ongoing issues was rosacea like bumps in my nasal area that were painful and swollen. The whole center of my face and eyes were inflamed and I had no answers as to why. I was passed around from one specialist to another who tried to push me out the door with a sorry I can't do more or another prescription for strong antibiotics. I wasn't getting better and I felt failed by the health care system. Then came along Dr. Rosenbach. He was caring, inquisitive and confident to share some diagnosis possibilities. And he has a great sense of a humor and wonderful demeanor that puts you at ease. Dr. Rosenbach took an instant proactive approach to ease the pain with injections, get me on an effective medication protocol and planned a long term follow up plan. Dr. Rosenbach gave me hope and security, I knew instantly he had my back in getting to the bottom of my issues. And his protocol is actually helping and I couldn't be more grateful as this issue went unresolved for a year!!! I plan on keeping Dr. Rosenbach as my long term dermatologist. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Rosenbach and his entire staff. I've had many dermatologists over the years and this is the first time I feel like all my concerns are addressed. From cancer screenings to aesthetic treatments, they have all the newest tech at the office. I have only ever used lasers on my face to take off dark spots or popped blood vessels and usually they leave a bruise for weeks on each spot. I’ve been seeing Dr. Rosenbach since 2015. In addition to being a wonderful human, he is the best doctor. He is incredibly knowledgeable. He truly listens while still walking you through the cost/benefit analysis of various treatments. Patient care is clearly his top priority and I trust him wholeheartedly.

I was referred by top Occulist Dr Massry to Dr Rosenback for laser treatment. I was so impressed by his conservative approach to the treatments and felt so safe in his care . All the staff were professional and caring and fit me in last minute due to my travel plans. Very impressed.

I've been seeing Dr.Rosenbach for years. Even after I moved out of Los Angeles to San Diego I still drive up once a year for my skin check! He's the only one with the video microscope technology which captures suspicious moles on camera and compares and contrasts year after year if they change. I tried to find another doctor where I live with this technology and no one else has it. I also come to Dr.Rosenbach for skincare. He continuously gives expert advice and never try's to "up-charge". He's even given me referrals to other physicians where I live so I don't have to make the drive up to him, but inevitably I do because he's the best. Dr. Rosenbach is a miracle worker - I have been getting headaches from TMJ everyday for years. I was the patient of this doctor for 5 years. I was coming to his office once a year for the checkup. I should wait for 3-5 months to see him because he doesn't see so many patients for the checkups. Last time I came to his office and had absolutely awful experience, which I would like to share. My appointment was at 8:15 AM, I wanted to be the first patient and be able to finish my appointment before work. I live across the street from the office, maybe it takes me 5 minutes to get there. I looked at the watch when I left the house, it was 8:08 AM. When I came to the office they asked me for my insurance card and I was told to wait. The doctor Rosenbach came to the office at 8:30 AM. Maybe 10 min after that the receptionist, who wasn't nice at all, gave me the stack of paper to fill. I told her that I am the patient of this office for a while, and filled all the papers before. She said they are updating the information, and I have to fill all of the forms again. It took me 20 more minutes to do. I asked her why she didn't give it to me right away, while the doctor was not in the office, and she told me in a not nice manner, that she was busy. Finally, I was taken to see the doctor at about 9:00 AM. The doctor checked me pretty fast and told me that he is giving me a gift, he is not going to charge me for this appointment. I was very surprised and asked him why. This is the answer I received: "You are coming for the checkup, insurance pays me almost nothing for this visit, I don't want to waste my time on the patients like you, instead I can see someone for the cosmetic procedure and make 5 times as much money. Also, you came late for your appointment, and my receptionist doesn't like you". (Btw, I did Botox with him once, paid $500, and didn't get any results. I basically paid $500 for nothing. A month later I went to another doctor, cosmetic surgeon, who knows what he is doing, to do it again, and paid $400 more). I told dr. Rosenbach, his receptionist was very rude and it's not acceptable for the receptionist to behave this way. His reply was: "I am not going to look for a new receptionist, I want her to be happy, so I want you to look for another dermatologist". It was very humiliating. It is impossible now to find the dermatologist who wants to do regular dermatology. Why bother, if they can do the cosmetic procedures and make much more money. It is extremely disappointing that dermatologists are allowed to do the cosmetic work, and don't want to provide the dermatology services anymore. We have cosmetic doctors for it. And believe me, they are much better equipped for these kinds of procedures. The last drop was receiving the bill for this unforgettable experience, and I was told by the doctor that this appointment is free. I wish there were disciplinary actions against doctors like dr.Rosenbach. He thinks because he went to medical school, he can treat people like that? How long we suppose to take this abuse? Extremely disappointed! I drove far to get here and had to leave because several important details were left out when I spoke to the reception twice. They never told me that if your insurance is not accepted you’d have to pay $155 for the consultation. Also I was never told to call my insurance as the reception lady was claiming they tell this to all of their patience. Again never informed of any of these details and I specifically told them who my insurance is on the phone and asked them if I need to know anything else before my arrival. I am not happy with this doctor nor his team. Dr. Rosenbach has scheduled 2 appointments with me and canceled on both of them only upon my arrival to his office. I called off of work twice only to find out that the doctor is not in the office once I arrived there. I requested time off twice from work only to be let down twice. If there were to let me know beforehand that would be okay because then I can avoid calling out of work and wasting my own time to come all the way to the office. Not only that but his secretary raised her voice at me, gave me attitude, and insinuated I was lying about making an appointment. There was no prior notice, no voicemail, nothing. I absolutely adore Dr. Rosenbach. I originally sought out Dr. Rosenbach in my early 20's with a terrible hormonal acne issue. He built out a regimen for my skin that completely wiped out my acne and I continued to see him for the occasional check up or emergency cortisone shot. Now I'm in my early 30's and am starting to see him for anti-aging treatments. I just got my first round of Dysport and I am absolutely thrilled with the results -- no weird frozen face! He is personable and kind. He also has an amazing aesthetician named Gail. She is so talented and precise with the laser. She is also compassionate and kind. It was a pleasure visiting this office and with these fine people.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rosenbach's for over 15 years and he has seen me through several skin issues. He is not only a consummate professional - he is a true virtuoso when it comes to cosmetic dermatology. Whether it be injectables or laser procedures, Dr. Rosenbach will never "upsell" a patient or allow you to do something that he feels is not necessary. I have been a patient for over a year Dr Rosenbach has been awesome. He answered my questions and provided referrals. Always followed and procedures were painless and I am very happy with his services. Very professional!!

I came to Dr. Rosenbach on the suggestion of a friend and I could not be more happy with him! I had seen two other dermatologists about treating my Xanthelasma- their answers were “well we can cut it out but it will come back.” Rosenbach’s answer? “I know just what to do.” And he did! 5 months later and everyone asks where my “spot” went. (Xanthelasma is rare and leaves yellow spots around your eyes that look like coverup, a sort of metallic yellow.)He did what everyone said they couldn’t do. I may have to go back in a couple years but the procedure is so quick and painless, I don’t mind because what I thought I had to live with forever, I don’t! Dr. Rosenbach was the first doctor in 20 years to successfully treat my facial psoriasis. He was professional at all times while also being personable. He was unceasing in his attempts to get rid of my psoriasis which took over a year. He was and remains a great supporter and I would trust him with any dermatological condition.

Dr. Rosenbach resolved a life long problem in less that two weeks. I left the office after my follow up appointment today and called my husband to tell him "we have a new family dermatologist"!

I visited Dr . Several times with my patient . He has always taken good care of her. Can't wait to go see him for my self.

Positive Experiences. I've been going to Dr. Rosenbach for over 16 years. I find him to be warm and friendly yet the concern and care for the health of my skin is always treated as top priority. I like that the Dr. gets right to the issues, provides immediate solutions, and that his years of experience and passion for derma health is longstanding as well as up to date. He has a unique personality which I personally like, his assistants have been with him for years. The Dr. and his assistants are consistently upbeat and eager to help, which is not easy to find. I trust this Dr. - that says a lot - because I won't go to just anyone for my health care and medical needs. Good luck trying to see the doctor! The staff who manage this office are the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met. Dr. Rosenbach, if you are reading this message, your staff should be ashamed of themselves! I have tried to get an appointment with you for over three months, when I found out that that time did not work for me, they refused to reschedule me, told me they would call me back, never did, then once I called the following week I explained what happened, then transferred

Let me count the ways this was a god awful experience. 1. Prior to my appointment, I called the doctors office and begged if there was any possible way I could see the doctor the same day. I had a rash on my ankle and it was blistering and scorching and itching and burning and swelling and killing me. I was in an obscene amount of unbearable pain.. The receptionist said, no, the doctor cannot see you today. He's leaving early. Sorry, you will have to wait. You can go to an emergency room if it's really bad. What?! 2. I show up to the appt 3 days later, still in pain with a massive rash on my ankle. The receptionists were cold and rude and dismissive. They require your insurance information and social security before they allow you in the doctors office. I'm used to paying for an appt AFTER the doctor examines but, okay. I guess they want the funds up front. There's no disputing if you are unsatisfied. 2. I was rushed. In and out. The nurse blasted through a couple questions. The doctor came in, didn't even examine my ankle. Walked in, glanced, made a diagnosis, and wrote me a prescription. 3. They wanted to schedule me a whole separate appointment when I asked the doctor to take a quick look at a couple moles on my arm to see if they were serious. Feeling rushed once again. 4. The doctor made a joke about laser treatments, how I was a candidate, how it's very expensive and how he makes alot of money doing it. He laughed it off, I didn't find it funny. 5. Upon qualifying me and my financial background, he made a joke to the nurse about charging me double for the appointment. I still didn't find the humor funny. 6. I was rushed to billing, and No, they don't validate your parking. 7. The prescription I was written cost me over $1000. For a tube of ointment. For real? Does this doc get some sort of kickback from the drug company that produces it? Absolutely absurd. High cost, poor customer service. I guess it's to be expected when you go to a specialist in a ritzy tower in century city. I ended up healing myself with a $7 tube of benedryl. This doctor is a genius. After 15 years of having a psoriasis issue on my scalp he was able to treat it and complete cure me of it in 10 days. I still cannot believe that I lived with it for so long even after I had been treated by two other doctors during those 15 years. On another visit he was able to remove my sunspots that I had been trying to remove with laser peels and bleaching cream . He was able to treat them in one visit and they are now completely gone! This doctor is the real deal!

Dr. Rosenbach is an amazing dermatologist. I had a horrible reaction on my forehead and of course I was freaking out. He was very calming and gave me some cream to use and said I would be fine. I was so upset I called his office for 3 days, several times a day. His staff was so understanding and patient with me, they assured me I would be fine. They were right I was. A couple of weeks later I went back for a cosmetic consultation to see what I could do to have a more youthful appearance. I expected to have a bunch of different expensive options. Dr. Rosenbach was very conservative in his approach and made very non invasive suggestions. Which gave me a lot of respect for him not trying to sell me everything under the moon.
