He is outstanding
Excellent, first rate urologist, surgeon and human being. I can't believe my good fortune to be his patient. I'm certain there isn't a better qualified urologist in the world and I'm fortunate enough to live close enough to avail myself of this amazing man's medical and surgical talents. He is very patient and answers all of my many, tedious questions most patiently. I hope he stays in practice for many years to come.
I have been under Dr. Wein's protocol for clear cell renal cancer since November of 2000. Had a radical nephrectomy on my left kidney in November of 2000 and I am still here thanks to Dr. Wein. His thorough follow up protocol for the cancer picked up the metastatic renal cancer in my lungs, four separate nodules between the two lungs. Yes, he can be rather candid and gruff but I am still alive because of him and his serious medical skills.
This guy is very moody. Not good at the end of the day so don't schedule an appointment then. I had a DRE with him at this time and it was so rough that I had pain for at least 3 weeks there after. Comes off as caring but know that that is not a real affect. Has a assistant (intern) that is a real witch and considers Wein better than other human beings. Go there if you don't care about the guys personality and you just want to be fixed. Otherwise he gets failing grades for being a human.
