Better make sure you have the $ up front even insured or get sub standard treatment. Even tried to make payment arrangements n he refused. Nasty temperament

The procedure went alright but 8 months later I still was getting positive sperm test results. They sent an order for me to do a lab test. I did the test and the next week called for results. They said they had the results but the dr hadn't looked at them yet call back in 3 days. So we did. They then said they didn't have the results they had to find them and they would call right back. They never did (That was a Fri) the following Monday we called again and they said dr bruno was out to call Tues. We called tues they said they were super busy and would call back....they never did. It's now another weekend and on this coming tues it will be 2 weeks since they first said they had the results and still haven't given them to us!!!! Very poor service and terrible follow through! I have the utmost respect for Dr. Bruno and all the nurses and office staff. Have always been treated good there. And even though Dr. Bruno seems to not be listening, he is. The man does his job very thoroughly. If you need to talk to him he will listen but if you don't have questions he comes in, goes over your chart and if there isn't a problem says, see you next year. Those are the words you like to hear. I'm sure if I was treated the way others said they were I would be upset but I have never been treated that way. After 8 years of going there. I was scheduled to see Dr. Bruno, but the man that came into the exam room didn't look like the photo of him on their website, so I don't know if it actually was him or not. The doctor spent a total of 5 minutes in the room, and barely listened to me when I was trying to tell him my symptoms. Afterward, he scheduled me for two major procedures (a series of kidney xrays with IV contrast, and a cystoscopy) without even asking me what times during the week I was available. On top of it all, I overheard him in the hall outside the room talking to a nurse when he was putting in for the procedures, and he said "It's the blood that worries me. There shouldn't be any blood in the urine with a UTI...I think." I've had them for years, and read tons of information on them, and by all accounts, including other general practitioners I've been to over the years, blood is an extremely common symptom of UTIs! And he didn't even know THAT? And he's a freaking UROLOGIST?! On top of that, the desk/phone staff is impolite and more concerned with their gossiping than doing their jobs. This is really a shame, since my experiences with BMH have always been so positive. They really need to keep a better eye on their outpatient care offices.
