My sister, Joy Metzler Moseley, had open heart surgery for atral/septal defect at age 18 by Dr. Pacifico. He was an awesome doctor, very detailed. My sister lived another30 years but died from complications from back surgery. Dr. Pacifico gave us many more years with her and we are grateful.
in 1983 or 1984 I went from Tx to Al to have one valve replaced then when we got there Dr. Pacifico ended up doing both . I am now 57 years old he gave me a longer life but now I am looking at getting a new heart so thanks for all you have done for me! who do I contact to get new ID cards for the two valves you implanted in my heart?
Amazing, Dr. Pacifico did my second open heart surgery in 2003. I was told later that my surgery was one he has wanted since 1967 and when I walked in alive he wanted to do the surgery himself because he knew just what to do. Thank you!!
Dr Pacifico did heart surgery on my spouse and did a terrible job. Drs let him go home when Breathing was hard. We took him to another hospital where he stayed longer than he did at UAB. He had more heart trouble after UAB than before. He lived for 8 years in misery.
he did open heart surgery on my baby girl when she was 3 months old then ...he was great..and it looks like we will be seeing him again with in the next 6 month ....
