Doubt he will see this but the doctor is great, knowledgeable, clear and well mannered. His receptionist are quite literally the most incompetent people I've ever met. They seem bother to be there, they have no manners at all, just all around terrible. For this reason I will not be coming back to the doctor. I hope he hires quality workers because they are going to ruin his reputation. Just to be clear on what I mean. They don't greet, they just hand you things without even telling you what it is. My sister Rosa went to see Dr Alejandro Pino because her right foot was swollen, after 6 months of going to different doctors Dr Pino diagnosed her with charcot foot, she had surgery and within 5 months she was walking well again. thanks Dr Pino and all employees for taking such good care of my sister.

He is excellent! My ankle is back to normal after the surgery, he did a ligament repair and I truly recommend him. He is a true professional and cares about his patients.

This doctor, Dr. Pino, operated my ankle more than 1 year and a half ago. I saw him today and he still remembers exactly the procedure he performed on me. I had a fall so I needed to see him and it felt great. Follow up visits and continue care. Just what I needed. Note: Their staff is great. I had a small bone removed from the bottom of my foot that suffered from necrosis and was causing pain when i walked. It was my first surgery and i was nervous. Dr Pino was great in explaining why im having my symptoms and what the surgery would entail. The surgery center was outstanding, clean , professional, timely. it was a great experience. Post Op visits were informative and made me feel very comfortable with the outcome. Im glad to be walking again. Great Doctor!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Pino when he was in N.Y. at St. Luke's hospital. My accident was when I was on vacation in Florida in 2014. ORIF of the left ankle. The driver of the car I was in crashed through a sound bearing wall. Thought I was gonna die 4 sure!!!! When I arrived back in N.Y. I was referred to Dr. Pino to be cleared for work. He took one look at my x-ray and saw the hardware was falling apart. He removed the old hardware from Florida and reconstructed my left ankle and stabilized my left leg. No weight bearing for 4 1/2 months, cast and had to sleep with the boot!. What misery and itching I endured!!!! God bless Dr. Pino as I tell u this it's 2019....my scars healed beautifully. I had a high ankle sprain (complete tear of AITFL). Dr. Pino was thorough in his evaluation of my injury and recommended surgery. Although I was not sure whether I needed surgery or not (he unfortunately did not elaborate on it too much, might be something he needs to work on), I went ahead with it and I am currently in the recovery process. He has been very accessible throughout this time and I did call quite a few times with questions and he promptly and professionally responded. A few weeks afterwards, he did give a comprehensive and detailed report on what was wrong and how surgery was necessitated. The more I read on this topic, the more I can say with surety that the right decision was made. Would recommend for foot/ankle injury or other issues.

ANY TIME I go to the doctor I have to wait, the staff was very attentive and made sure to take patients in as they come. It is busy, and the wait time sometimes is long but it does not take away from the WONDERFUL staff who in fact DO speak ENGLISH AND SPANISH... Dr. Pino is a marvelous doctor and I have been seeing him for about 6 months now. He is VERY knowledgeable, and it is upsetting as his patient to see all these things that have been written FALSELY about him and his staff. I went with him a week ago, he saw me in pain, he saw my MRI and on his own words he told me “this are the biggest systics I’ve ever seen and you most go to a surgery ASAP” To mention: the surgery that he suggest was a major one, with arthroscopy on the knee and cartilage graft on the ankle. He saw me with A LOT OF PAIN and I beg him To make me surgery ASAP, he told me please go to my secretary. He’s secretary just told me, I can make the surgery schedule in 20-24 business days because the doctor is going on vacation. I’m not mad because he is going to vacation , I’m mad because he saw me with everything ( pain , mri...) and he didn’t had the capacity and profesisnaleism to tell me that he is not going to be and maybe refer me to somebody’s, he preferred to charge me and no letting me know a thing, so he can have the surgery no matter the professionalism and the patients pain. Today I went to my appointment to Dr. Pino . I was sent to his office by workers comp. The day before someone that represents this fine doctor called to let me know that I had a scheduled appointment for today Friday. When I arrived to his office building I had the pleasant surprise that they charged for parking. I gave the attendant my debit card and she said that it had to be cash and up front . I only had 2 dollars on me, I usually do not carry cash on me. I explained that I have a tear of one of my ligaments and also a partial tear of another and that I can only walk with crutches and with a lot of pain. She said that she could not help me and that I could not go in. Mind you no one from the office informed me that I needed to pay cash for parking and that they do not validate parking. If I had known I would have taken money with me to avoid this problem.So I parked 3 blocks away from the building at a meter. The old ones that take quarters. I had 2 quarters in my car which gave me 20 minutes parking. Also no place near by to get any change. After a major struggle to get up to the 5 floor from 3 blocks away I made it to the office. I asked why no one let me know about how the parking was in this building. They just said sorry but that they do not call the patients, a service the doctor uses called me and that they do not work from their location so that they do not know about the parking. So knowing that I would be getting a ticket for my meter running out I asked to be rescheduled . The assistant said that I could have an appointment for Monday but that the doctor would be in his other office. I said ok. As everything is about to end this guy goes to the window and starts telling me that the parking at the other location is a mess and that I will have problems parking there etc. All this like making fun of me. I replied that I am a truck driver and that I could handle it. Then for no reason he took his hand up to his face and gave me the finger but he made it look like he was scratching his nose. I blew up and starting going at it with this person asking him who he was and who asked him for any information. He replied that he was the doctors assistant. During all this the doctor came out to see what was happening and did nothing. He did not ask me what had happened. The assistant who was helping me tried to calm things down. She gave me some paper work for Monday to fill out and I left. As I was driving home I received a call from my rep. from workers comp. She said that she received a call from the doctors office and they went on to tell her that I had gone to the office yelling like a mad man . I went on to tell her what really had happened and she decided to send me to another doctor to my relief and pleasure. I even told her that if I went back to see the same doctor that I would take my friend which happens to be a police officer to make sure nothing weird would happen with the doctors medical assistant.
