I’ve had all 4 wisdom teeth out by Dr Alex 3 years apart from each other. He is very personable, listens to your concerns and definitely puts you at east before the surgery takes place. Very clean office his assistant is very friendly! Over all I only have good things to say about this office and the people in it!

I have had multiple procedures done by Dr Montezam. Including an apico, and dental implant. He does excellent work with no pain or discomfort. I highly recommend him if you need any work done. I trust him with my whole families oral surgery needs.

My 20 year old son had all 4 of his impacted wisdom teeth surgically removed last week by Dr. Montazem. We are very happy, grateful and pleased with his practice. I highly recommend him, he is an experienced oral surgeon and we will definitely be returning to his practice in the future.

I had an appointment to come in yesterday. They said they didn’t have my pano x-ray and wanted to charge me $40 for one when one was just taken a month ago. Earlier I spoke with this office three times no one had mentioned it. They asked me how I prefer to get contacted I said by phone or text. They told me they emailed it to me. The receptionist asked me if the phone number they had on file with my number and it wasn’t. I waited a month for this appointment. Can’t get another appointment for another month for the consultation. When I left the office I called my dental office about the x-ray. They said all they needed was the email address for the doctors Office so it could be sent over. The lady in the back of the reception area rudely turned her back on me. When all she had to do where is call the dental office give the email address and get the x-ray. My time is very valuable and was wasted Plus, this is very bad for her your Health. This is a root canal gone bad. The tooth is rotting in the back of my mouth while this whole process is going on! As everyone knows, A rotted tooth Is bad for your heart! I haven’t even begun the process of seeing the doctor. The receptionist was sweet and helpful and shocked at the way things had went you could tell by the look on her face as she gave me another appointment. I waiting 2 months to have a consultation and another 2 months to schedule the surgery (my son needed an exposure and bracket). 10 Days before the surgery the office called me to cancel the appointment and said Dr. Alex Montazem was no longer doing that procedure. Tried calling to get wisdom teeth removed. The receptionist was seemingly unknowledgable, first she said she didnt take my insurance, then when I asked what insurance they did take she responded with ‘there’s a lot’ so when I specifically asked her if she took a certain insurance her response was “we’re not taking new patients because of covid”, ‘first we took that insurance, then we didn’t, then we did’.. It felt like I was annoying her from the moment I called. My 20 year old daughter went for a consultation regarding her wisdom teeth and the doctor was rude, and she couldn't ask questions because he had his hand on the door knob and couldn't get out of the examination room fast enough. Thus, we will NOT be using this oral surgeon to take out her wisdom teeth.

Great painless experience with wisdom tooth removal

Had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed here. The staff was kind and answered all the questions I had! Would definitely recommend them to anyone!! :)

Nobody likes the dentist/oral surgeon, that's a given....then there's people like myself, lots of us, that have an absolute fear of it! I'm THE WORST (woke up nervous that day). Anyway, honest truth, I had two (2) removed: #1wisdom, the #2 molar... along with a bone grafting- I literally felt NOTHING, zero pain, and they were so perfect in how hey used the local anesthesia that I walked out of the office, found a deli, spit out my gauze and had breakfast!! Rude receptionist. UNPROFESSIONAL

Dr. Montazem is patient, caring, and thorough. I needed to use him to get my first dental implant and trusted him completely. I had many questions, which he was able to answer in an easy-to-understand way. Now the entire process is completed and I have a new tooth. There is no sensitivity, and it feels like a normal tooth. I am extremely pleased with his work and the efficiency of his staff. During Covid-19, they handled office protocol very well, and I felt safe and well-cared for.

Dr. Montazem was absolutely wonderful! I'm a retired dentist and I had to have four extractions. I was apprehensive since I understand what's involved, but Dr. Montazem made me feel at ease, confident and reassured. I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon to proceed with the extractions. The office staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and extremely mindful to the CDC guidelines. I felt I was in a safe environment, and I highly recommend Dr. Montazem.

I had a wisdom tooth removed with Dr. Montazem & had an overall wonderful experience with my (mini) surgery. His front office staff were friendly and I was able to schedule an appointment with ease. I was also taken in promptly upon my appointment time by Dr. Montazem's support staff, who were very friendly and welcoming, as I was being prepped for my visit and surgery. Dr Montazem made me feel even more comfortable when he came in the room, and he was extremely thorough and informative when explaining the process to me (as well as funny & kind, which was even more of a plus). I was in and out quickly, and was called the next day by the office staff to see how I was feeling, as well as scheduling me for a follow up appointment to ensure I was healing okay. Oral surgery can be a scary thought, but when you are made to feel at ease by such a wonderful doctor and his staff, it makes the experience much less daunting. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Dr. Montazem!

I was super nervous about the anasthesia but I did not feel sick afterwards! I had three teeth (wisdoms) removed and I was back to normal sooner than I thought. There was no major discomfort. I was able to go out to the store the next day. I would come back as this office has had good communication with me as a patient and as a staff. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Montazem on the same day. Easy as 1,2,3... IV in, woke up and teeth were gone. There was no pain following the procedure. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone who needs their teeth removed!

A true "dentophobe" !! Going to any dentist other than the only one I trust that is 60 miles away, much less an oral surgeon, is not even in the top 50 of places I feel comfortable going to. However, I needed some work done that couldn't be done by my primary dentist, and I needed the work done quickly and thoroughly as my upcoming heart surgery required it. I researched and came across Dr. Montazem, an oral surgeon who was in network with my plan, another plus. Well I had a consult and scheduled a week later for surgery and I have to say, totally painless, before and after. Everyone in the office seems to be very involved in your care, especially Tiffany, who definitely helped calm my fears. Every question I had was answered, and any info I needed was faxed to heart surgeons office promptly. I would definitely recommend this dentist.

Best Oral Surgeon ever! He has golden hands. He removed a cracked impacted tooth with absolutely no pain!! I was expecting pain when anesthetic wore off, it never came!! This surgeon is awesome!!

This man is on another level of terrible. From his horrible bed side manner to just being a flat out disrespectful human being. He judges you based on your insurance. He assumes that all people that have bad teeth do drugs. I would never recommend this oral surgeon to anyone! Worst experience at a medical “professionals” office. He is so far from professional it’s not even funny! He needs to learn how to treat people better.

I have NEVER been treated so badly by anyone before, let alone a “medical professional” and I use the term very loosely. Our son was referred by his regular dentist for a couple extractions prior to continuing with a detailed treatment plan. This man was disrespectful to us as parents, unwilling to answer our questions, and flat out told us he didn’t care what the other dentists referral was for, he was going to do what he wanted to do. He refused to treat us and actually walked out on us!

I had Dr. Montazem extract all 4 of my wisdom teeth when one was starting to come through and cause me pain. At my initial consultation, him and his staff explained how they would do everything, showed me my X-rays, what my recovery time would be, and the pros and cons of getting all 4 taken out at once. I had just started working after college and wasn't able to take too much time off, so I decided to get all 4 wisdom teeth taken out in one session. I also liked that he had Friday and Saturday availability which worked great with my schedule - I only needed to take one day off from work. I was nervous about the anesthesia but his staff were so kind when I woke up after the surgery. I recovered over the weekend per his guidelines, and went back 1 week later for a follow up. I went to Dr. Montazem to have my wisdom teeth removed. I would absolutely recommend him and his team to anyone looking for an oral surgeon in the area. Dr. Montazem made the whole experience of having a procedure painless. I get anxiety when it comes to any type of surgery but him and his team made sure I was completely comfortable and understood all steps of the procedure and recovery. I have been a patient of Dr. Montazem for quite a few years. I have needed to have quite a few teeth extracted and at least five dental implants done. Dr. Montazem and his staff were wonderful! I also had all three of my daughters wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Montazem when they were in their teens. He was terrific with them! Absolutely horrible....

i got passed around on the phone to 3 different people to get 1 question answered. They also gave me incorrect information regarding my insurance on what is covered and what is not. highly displeased.

The office staff is rude. They never answer the phone. Dr. Alex Montazem is condescending and rude. The Doctor refused to give me a copy of my son's xray. They printed a blurred picture. When I requested a copy of the film, they hung up on me. IT is a patients right to get a copy of their x-rays! Sect 123110; Health & Safety Code.

I visited one oral surgeon prior to Dr. Montazem and had X-Ray's taken and they were inferior to the machine at this facility. Dr. Montazem is a very unprofessional doctor. He is rude, condescending and short. My son was saw the doctor to have wisdom teeth and Dr. Montazem spoke to my son as if he was stupid if he didnt do the procedure and gave brief answers to questions. His office never picks up the phone and when you finally get someone on the phone they too are rude. It is unbelievable that a doctor and his staff operate in this manner!

I tried to set up an appointment w Dr. Montazem but a woman receptionist refused to do it simply because I did not provide details for the need to see doctor for dental problem I have. The receptionist on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. I explained that I need consultation and second opinion but she insists on asking HIPPA information which I did not want to provide over the telephone. She just hung up on me. \

I would not recommend this oral surgeon to anyone. He has a real bedside manner, along with his staff and additionally charges higher than any other oral surgeon in the neighborhood.

Saw Dr. Montazem today for an extraction. His staff was pleasant and office was state of the art. He was very thorough and explained everything as he was working. The whole appointment was over within 30 mins which I appreciated. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Montazem is one of the rare professionals who has not found the need to mix greed with the highest level of dental care. The Dr. And his staff are pleasant and thorough. I had an extraction with an implant .it was solid and pain free. I have other dental work required and wouldn't see any one else.
