Dr. Schillinger and his team at Innovation Dental are FABULOUS! I’ve always been uncomfortable with dental care… and they are so warm, friendly, and professional, that I actually look forward to my appointments. After receiving several fillings, Dr. Schillinger called to personally check-in and see how I was doing, and he thanked me for trusting him with my health care. I was so touched by the thoughtfulness and high quality care. 100% recommend Innovational Dental!

Honestly the best dentistry office I've ever been to, and I've been in alot, throughout many states. The staff and Dr are top notch! Pain control was amazing. No one likes dental work but I didn't have any pain during my 2 hour procedure. No matter what state I am living in, I will travel any distance to be treated in this office. Thank you Dr S for the excellent dental treatment and your friendly and calming manner.

I was looking for a dentist that would take care of my pearly whites and keep them in tip top shape since I knew I was hard on them being that I grind my teeth at night and the bite guard I'd invested in wasn't working due to being ill fitting. So my very first appt I noticed a few things, the office was calm, clean and running on time. The staff is very nice, professional and knowledgable. Then I met Dr. Schillinger and my confidence was boosted because he was very professional, explained everything that I needed which I already knew about. He was also able to adjust the fit of my bite guard so Ive been wearing it diligently ever since. My second visit was my root canal. First one I've ever gotten and I was terrified of the unknown, the known and what was to come. My fears were met with confidence and assurance that I would be ok and pain free is always the goal. Did they meet that promise? YES! I then needed crowns, 2 to be exact. I was scheduled to come back. My third appt was more of the same, professional staff, running on time, procedure was explained (getting the teeth ready for crowns) with clarity and I was once again assured pain free was the goal. I was supposed to return the next day for the actual crowns to be place, but I was spared that appt and got both crowns placed on my third visit. I was able to see the crown being made and it was a super cool thing to see-as I work in the medical field this type of thing fascinates me. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Alex Schillinger, his staff and the location is easy to get to. GREAT office, GREAT staff, GREAT Dentist!! I'm so glad I found this office!!! I have had no issues with my crowns. Also, they text message you to check on you the next day! No other office I know does that! And email you instructions with after care. A++++

Top notch service from start to finish. I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr Schillinger and the staff at Innovation Dental have managed to make every visit an exceptional experience. I highly recommend their services. Dr Schillinger has perfected a technique for giving numbing shots that don’t hurt at all! I don’t know what he does but it’s like magic and has significantly reduced my stress about having a procedure that involves a needle. He is also very nice to look at! So if you’re looking for a great dentist who is the epitome of professionalism and also very handsome, Dr Schillinger is the guy!

Excellent dental care every time

Dr Schillinger and staff are amazing! They always make me feel comfortable. It is nice they tell you step by step what to expect. My kids have been going there since they were little. They actually enjoy going to the dentist.

Dr. Schillinger is the best! He’s super professional while also being super caring. I recommend him to anyone I know that needs a dentist because he is that good! His staff is also incredible! The whole overall experience you get when you go there just for a teeth cleaning is amazing!

Great and friendly as always!

Awesome team with great customer service.

I need extensive dental work (multiple new crowns, multiple implants, extractions, etc.), and wanted to also begin a major cosmetic rework of my entire mouth, including Invisilign. I'm in for a year or so of work and have only completed my first two significant visits. I have been dental-phobic since childhood and have been incredibly anxious about having all this work done, but Dr. Schillinger and his staff have been nothing short of AMAZING. My fears are not dismissed in his office, and everything has been pain and anxiety-free thus far. To my surprise I only had to be sedated IV for the first visit and he was able to manage the second visit with oral medical prior to the appointment. I am so excited about this journey and I know with 100% certainty that working Dr Schillinger was the right choice for me. FIVE STARS! The place is really clean and my experiences there are awesome. The Dentist is very nice and doesnt make me feel scared to go when I have a problem unlike my old dentist. They get me in quick for appointments and its a good experience for scared kids because they will feel safe there.

I have coordinated an appointment with a two hour flight from a vacation to get a crown because I refused to go anywhere else.

They recently relocated to a new office. Still getting things set-up, but very nice and easier access from the highway. As usual, received great treatment (root canal to resolve a tooth ache)

I called to make an emergency appointment. The secretary got ready to look at the schedule, then asked if I was already a patient. AFTER I said no, she then said they have no available appointments this week and rudely rushed me off the phone. Yet before that she was happy to help and the week before when I emailed about an appointment they tried to get me to come in asap, but I guess they didn't know I wasn't a regular. Dr. Alex and the crew at Deer Run are amazing. The level of care and attention spent with each and every patient surpasses both dentists I visited in the past. They keep their patient load smaller so they can invest time and effort in to each and every one of us. The atmosphere in the office and with the doctor and staff is like being at home. I never hesitate to recommend Deer Run to my family and friends. I am beyond comfortable there, and I know they have my dental health and interests at heart. After an attempt at being scammed by another dentist in town, I was recommended to Deer Run by a family friend. Alex really is a 5 star dentist. The only reason I dont go here, is because he was a out of network provider for my insurance. It should say something that I continued to go to him for years even after and paid the excessive amount over my copay. He is friendly, the staff is great, and the place is clean. Dr. Schillinger is a great dentist and really listens to patient concerns. The first time I visited, Dr. Schillinger met me in his office and discussed my teeth. Then, he conducted a very thorough initial exam and developed a care plan which we have followed. This is a much better place to obtain dental services than the "family" clinics in the O'Fallon/Shiloh area. The facility is quiet and clean. The dental hygienists are top-notch and are very careful when they are giving me a cleaning. They also can remind you by e-mail and text of upcoming appointments and I find this really useful.
