Dr Sah and his staff are some of the best in the business by far. I have had multiple surgeries over the years on many of my joints so when I had knee replacement surgery with Dr. Sah in Dec 2022, and it was one of the best decisions I have made. The pre surgery communication was top notch. The day of the surgery the staff was so caring and helpful. My wife was my driver that day and she said they took great care of her and kept her updated continually. I went home the day of the surgery with no complications and received text messages almost daily from His office. They would be steps to ensure a quick recovery, what to expect, encouraging words and what I would be experiencing healing wise and where I should be based on the number of days post-surgery. I have scheduled to have my other knee replaced and at the time of this I am just a little over 3 months post surgery and am able to walk, run, and do the things I enjoy without the Pain that I lived with My Family and I Thank you!!!

I'm five weeks postop from a right knee replacement and I could not be happier with my results, 138 ROM. I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Sah and his awesome team. After interviewing two highly regarded surgeons, it was very clear I hit the jackpot. The name says it all, the joint institute. They're experts in minimally invasive surgery and use the most advanced technologies, which is why my surgeon referred me to him. Knowing that I had knee pain from osteoarthritis my PCP recommended Dr. Sah. That was the best referral I could have received as Sah Orthopaedics was top-notch from the beginning. They were very efficient, but also spent as much time as needed to answer all of my questions. After the first visit I even got a hand written thank you note from Dr. Sah! Who even does that anymore? Only people who are caring and genuinely interested in you as an individual, that's who. Before the surgery I received a binder to help guide me through the steps that I would be going through and answers to more questions than I could even think of. It broke down the steps in easy to follow sections, and perusing the entire binder before the operation helped me to stay organized with the recovery plan as well. The partial knee replacement went very well, it took less than an hour, and with the recovery time at the hospital I was walking out the door in the early afternoon on the same day with just the help of a walker. Nothing but a great many thanks to Dr. Sah and his entire staff, they are all professional, courteous, and caring. And this goes for anyone you need to talk to on the phone or in person; from billing to the PAs to the medical assistants as well. I couldn't be happier with the results, very glad that I found him, and would definitely recommend him to anyone with hip or knee issues that require surgery.

Dr. Sah performed a full knee replacement on my left knee almost 3 weeks ago. He and his office personnel are excellent. I felt well prepared for the surgery and Dr. Sah and his office staff have checked in with me several times since the surgery. I had my first follow up visit last week. My recovery is going well. I feel that I am in very good hands with Dr. Sah.

The operation went very smoothly. Went in for pre-op procedure at 11:00 and operated on around 12:00. Completed operation by 1:00. Went to hospital room, saw the PT and OT and went home around 7:00pm.

Dr. Sah and his staff were excellent throughout the entire process - and they truly define the gold standard in personalized patient care. I'm very satisfied with the outcome of the procedure and have regained pain-free, full mobility.

Today is my 3 week anniversary and extremely pleased with results. I can walk without a cane and can bend my knee 120 degrees.

I had my right knee replaced at Sah Orthopedic 10/1/19 and my left replaced 1/2/2020, three months later and was biking and rollerskating 2 months after that. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sah and his staff. They could not have been more helpful, informative, and professional through the process. To the point that I had a hip replacement 11/2/22 there and was in full form 2 months later. Skating , walking, and biking WITHOUT pain for the first time in a long time.

I am in a demanding work field requiring strength balance and flexibility. Needless to say,I was slightly concerned about getting a joint restoration. I had total knee replacement on September 29th. I wanted to wait 4 months to leave a review. I already knew that the staff was terrific and the information given more than ample. I wanted to see how my knee felt after enough PT and personal exercise. I am doing great, back on the Peloton, walking 2 1/2 miles with little discomfort or none and working out with my trainer twice a week. Planning to start hiking next week. Although it is a painful surgery I couldn’t ask for a better result and care.

Office visits, prescriptions, appointment scheduling, (really everything) went like clockwork. Everyone has been extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. You know what to expect and asking questions is encouraged.

High Expectations-- Reading many reviews and several other highly complimentary recommendations left me with very high expectations when I first met Dr. Sah. Now, 3 weeks post hip replacement, I can offer a testimony that mirrors most of those that I've seen. The professionalism and follow up is, in my somewhat qualified opinion, second to none. The entire team treated my well and communicated effectively throughout the process. My pain was minimal and I am now walking without aid moderate distances as well as up and down stairs. I found the binder that is given to all patients to be very thorough and helpful as a resource--wish more doctors would do something similar. I give a hearty 5 star rating!

Dr Sah and his team are great and wonderful!! Last year I had me left hip replacement and in June,2021 I had my right hip replacement. On my 2 weeks post-op consult Dr Sah saw the X-rays and said they are perfectly symmetrical. I said it is an art. Dr Saw is a very good and wonderful artist. Everyone knows Dr Saw by name in my workplace and YES I recommend him for everyone I meet that might need his services in the future. Be patient with the scheduling and keep calling back ..sometimes it is hard to contact the staff. However, those people you don't need to meet in person and the most important is that Dr Saw and his team in the office and in the hospital are great. I had a wonderful experience with the nurses and physiotherapists while in the hospital. I am very grateful to all of them.

Dr. Sah and his team did an anterior hip replacement for me recently. The level of service and professional care was top notch. I’m healing quickly and they provide quick answers to any questions I’ve had along the way. This was my second hip replacement. My last one was done in another city. Everything was perfect, more than I can hope for. Walking without a limp after 3 weeks from surgery. If you're considering a hip replacement, you must see Dr. Sah and his team.

Dr. Sah is truly amazing! He was recommended by a member of my chair-yoga class. I had been praying for who to go to for my hip replacement. He was truly the answer to my prayers. I walked (with a walker) a couple of hours after coming out of intensive care. Dr Sah came to visit me the evening after my surgery, and the physical therapists were right there right away to encourage me with basic self-care. I went home the next day with my walker, but within a few days I was walking without my cane or walker (I never did use my cane)! No pain whatsoever! Dr Sah sends physical therapists to your home 2X a week. They continued to come to my home for several weeks to help me learn ever-new rehab exercises, easy ways of getting in and out of bed, movements to avoid, and finally how to get in and out of the passenger and drivers carseat. The physical therapists, Vicki and Andrew, were encouraging and gentle - very personal. I really learned to love them both. Also, whenever I had medical question, I got a quick response from either a physicians assistant or the nurse. Dr. Sah is very thorough on my follow-up visits, and even called me at home one evening to leave words of encouragement. Now it is about 9 weeks since my surgery and I am going back to teaching chair-yoga. I couldn't be happier with my outcome and sing Dr. Sah's praises to everyone I talk to. Dr. Sah is truly amazing! I researched four physician-recommended surgeons, met with two, and decided to trust my anterior hip replacement to Dr. Sah. An avid hiker, I’m delighted with the care I received at every stage and the pace with which I’ve regained endurance and functionality. I took Dr. Sah up on his offer to call him after the initial consultation. Expecting a staff response, I was surprised when he himself called. I am a patient who has had 9 left knee surgeries to date. The last four dealt with a total knee replacement and the 3 after that were revisions. Dr. Saw did the last one on February 1, 2022 and it is now 7 weeks since surgery and I can bend my knee, walk better and I see more hope than ever before. the knee is the straightest it has ever been. His entire team are the best I have worked with. If I could give Dr. Sah 10 stars I would.

Dr. Sah and his team were great during my hip replacement surgery and recovery. Everything right from the start was done in a very professional, respectful, and caring manner. Dr. Sah is an excellent surgeon and has great bedside manner. Rarely do I take the time to write a review ...but I have been so completely blown away by Dr. Sah that I really want to spread the word about this superstar Surgeon! He is amazing professionally and personally! I have been a physical therapist for 32 years in the Bay Area. I have seen and worked with the best of the best outpatient surgeons and doctors ...and never have I interacted so comfortably and honestly with an orthopedic surgeon. Now, over the last few years, I have seen and referred multiple patients to Dr. Sah for hip, knee replacements and second opinions. My patients are always so impressed and relieved to find such a conscientious surgeon. Dr. Sah studies your case carefully giving you his professional opinion and the choices he sees you have going forward. His staff is efficient and always personable. Dr. Sah actually LISTENS to you. He takes his work seriously and factors in not only what's going on with your body physically...but also who you are and what your personal goals and needs may be. You feel SEEN AND HEARD. Dr. Sah did a TRKR on me 1/7/22. Went exceptionally well. I really appreciated that they gave me a binder with lots of information on what to expect, exercises, medications, etc. I felt well informed before the surgery. I was able to go home the day of the surgery, and was walking without a cane in 10 days. My scar is negligible and I have excellent ROM at 4 weeks. Very little pain. I also appreciated that Dr. Sah has called me several times since the surgery to personally check on how I am doing. Overall, a very well run operation and skillful surgery.

Dr. Sah performed a Total Knee Replacement on my right knee January 4, 2022. When scheduling the surgery, I requested that I be allowed to spend the night so I would have as much time as possible to learn the correct way to get in and out of my bed, figure out the correct amount of medication needed, etc. The surgery was a huge success! I was not sick after surgery. We had a group meeting regarding care at home before leaving the hospital which was very helpful. I was able to get in and out of my car with no problems whatsoever. The knee binder I was given before surgery helped me both before and after my surgery. My Home Patient Physical Therapist, Dr. Sah, and my Out Patient Physical Therapist could not get over how well my balance was, how far I could bend my leg and how well the incision looked when the bandage was removed. My Home Patient Physical Therapist couldn't get over how easily I did the exercises with relatively little pain so soon after surgery. When I began my Out Patient Physical Therapy, my therapist said the incision looked like it was two months old as far as healing not just 3 weeks. When I called Dr. Sah's office with questions, I received a call back right away. His staff is knowledgeable, courteous, professional and made me feel at ease as did Dr. Sah. I don't know any other doctor that will fit time into his/her schedule to call and check up on his patients at home. I am so grateful that I went with him. He is a miracle worker and I look forward to getting back to doing many of the things I used to do.

Dr. Sah and his incredible staff are consummate professionals. They have an atmosphere where patient care meets excellent surgical technique. These are paramount to a successful outcome. I am a patient who didn’t choose wisely for my first total knee replacement. After more than a year of trying to heal, and on the advice of a friend went to Dr. Sah. He performed a partial revision surgery and in less than 3 weeks I have 20 degrees more flexion and I have yet to begin outside physical therapy. Dr. Sah is the most talented orthopedic surgeon my husband and I have ever met. In addition, he is full of caring and compassion and goes out of his way to make you feel like an important part of his practice. He replaced my right knee and did a partial on my husband who is about to have a partial replacement in his other knee. He also x-rayed my hips and found signs of arthritis but recommended a conservative approach to the problem which I really appreciate.

Not only did I receive "The Knee Binder" which lays out in detail what I will experience with bi-lateral knee replacements and follow-up physical therapy. Dr Sah personally communicated many times, mostly while he was driving home from work/medical center. I can assure anyone who decides to have Dr Sah as a surgeon that he listens to you, he talks with, and communicates in a professional and personal manner that you know he cares about you. I am 14 weeks post surgery, and I cannot believe that progress I have made after having two knees fully replaced.

Wonderful results and so grateful to Dr. Sah and his wonderful team. Every step of the way has been positive. I am now walking pain-free and enjoying many of the "simple" things of life that were out of reach prior to my hip replacement. The team approach was wonderful. Very highly recommended.

Dr. Sah is wonderful, he fixed my hip quickly and perfectly. I had a lot of apprehension about having this done, several of my friends were limping well after their surgeries elsewhere, but Dr. Sah got mine exactly right. I am so happy and grateful. I was walking with a walker a few hours after surgery and went home that day.

Dr. Sah is a perfectionist, who has the experience to do superb work. His team really works together, accurately and quickly. I was very apprehensive going into hip surgery, because three friends came out limping after theirs elsewhere, some for months, one for years. I was walking without a hitch a few hours after surgery (with a walker) and went home that day!

Dr. Sah is second to none when it comes to a hip replacement. He has replaced both of my hips (10/1/2019 & 8/26/2021). The Anterior approach he uses is the BEST ever. After walking with a cane for 6 years, I am now FREE of the cane. The recovery and hip precautions are much easier with the Anterior approach. Run, do not Walk, to get that hip replaced. Waiting times were minimal, Dr. Sah and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, qualified and have extensive experience. Dr. Sah addressed the situation quickly and the I was able to return to physical exercise and sports immediately upon recovery from my knee replacement.

Not much to say...Just look at all of the reviews! Simply put Dr. Sah has an unbelievable staff both in his office and at Washington hospital. If you are "shopping" for an Orthopedic surgeon... you have found the best!

The total experience in receiving my anterior total hip replacement from Dr Sah Orthopedic’s was exceptional. What sets Dr Sah’s approach apart is the emphasis on what is best for the patient not easiest for staff or the hospital. His minimalist approach with the procedure really worked well for me. I was up, able to move about and start my recovery within a day of surgery. I highly recommend Dr Sah and his dedicated staff. I also appreciated Dr Sah calling to check on my progress. Thank you so much for the huge improvement in my mobility.

It was seamless from the start. From the front desk to the support staff, I felt cared for. Dr Sah is next level. 3 weeks after my hip replacement I am walking normally and I feel so much better than before surgery. I am so grateful.

Dr. Sah and his team always provide close personal care for the patient. And this has not changed from when my wife and I had our knee replacements a few years ago. Each member of the team exudes a strong and caring commitment to the patient, and is complemented with broad medical skills and knowledge. The entire staff focuses on us, and we leave the appointment knowing we have had a very professional and personal consultation.

It has been a major improvement in my walking, sitting and especially my art...to have both knees rescued and healed by Dr. Sah!...As close to a miracle as I have had...I can walk so much better, stoop to paint my huge paintings on the floor, climb stairs and go down as well! I appreciated the personal contact Dr. Sah and his associates had to be sure the rehab and healing were going well throughout the first three months.

Only Doctor I have ever had, who has phoned me on at least 5 occasions to either tell me important info, to check up on me, or give encouragement. Also, after the first appointment, he wrote me a hand written letter, letting me know we would solve my knee problem with the complete revision we agreed on. A young man who is very dedicated, old school, easy to talk to, and brilliant in all phases of his craft !!

Dr Sah and the entire staff at Washington hospital are amazing! I had a partial knee replacement and recovered very well. I was back walking on the beach on week three! I have full mobility

Absolutely!!! From the first visit Dr. Sah gave me a comfortable feeling about my surgery .He was the second opinion Dr. for my complete knee replacement surgery. After how patiently and calmly he explained everything and had no limits to all my questions I knew Dr. Sah is the one who will do my procedure. I am very happy with my choice of having Dr. Sah do the surgery, the out come is excellent. Also I have to say the after care is wonderful and all his staff members are very carring and helpful. If you have knee pain and you need knee replacment surgery do not hesitate. I highly recommend Dr.Sah. For me it was a life changing experience. I got my active pain free life back THANKS TO Dr. SAH .

I have now done a knee replacement and anterior hip replacement with Dr. Sah. They have a one stop shop approach to joint replacements. What I mean by that is they do the pre-operation check up, provide a binder weeks before surgery with every piece of information you could possibly need, perform the surgery and schedule all of the post-operation appointments in a highly organized and efficient manner. That said, the most important thing is the quality of the surgeon and Dr. Sah is the best !! His surgical skills and personal attention and care are second to none. I would highly recommend Dr. Sah to anyone considering a knee or hip replacement.

I have had two knee replacements with Dr. Sah, all went well. What I like about Dr. Sah: super personable, his research quality, his expertise, he personally follows through w/responding to emails and calling to check up on you post-op, he explains pros/cons of options (partial/full, mechanism types, in-home/at center rehab..) doesn’t try to sell, allows you to watch surgery, and is just all around professional. Office: I REALLY appreciate how he has a diverse staff; they are all also well qualified and personable. If I could change one thing, it would be the in-office wait time for appointments, understandable w/Dr. Sah being in high demand. The office is not a high quantity mill by any means but I usually can’t get in/out in under an hour for a checkup. However, I’d much rather wait than get in and out sooner with a lesser surgeon. The people I have recommended to Dr. Sah have all been pleased with their outcomes.
