I have been a patient of Dr. Smythe's for over 30 years until he retired last year. He always took the time to explain conditions and treatments, answer questions, and provided follow-up as needed.

Just completed my first visit with Dr. Alexander Smythe, and I’m going to say that my first visit was fantastic. Mr. Smythe totally put the meaning in southern hospitality from his warm welcome to the time that I left. I have not had the opportunity to sit down with the doctor or a physician and actually talk about my life and my issues and my concerns and I really really really appreciate the time that he took to talk with me today. I’m very happy that there are still doctors out there that do you take the time for their patients this is something that is very much needed and personable. Dr. Smythe is amazing great bedside manner explains everything to you I would recommend to all my friends and family.

I will never go to Dr. Smyth again he made feel really bad about myself because I was pregnant at the age of 42 and the staff made me feel the same way, I felt really bad after seeing him and he really doesn't know what he is doing he's just guessing what to do!!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Smythe for 26 years now. He's a miracle worker, wonderful bedside manner, very patient, explains everything to you to make sure you understand. His precision is above and beyond. He saved my life TWO TIMES in emergency situations. I refuse to see any other gyno, nobody can come close to his level of expertise. I love this Dr.

Best doc ever! Only one that I’ve seen that listened and prescribed a low hormone birth control to not make me sick, I also have a few other issues and he always tries to fit me in that day if he can to make sure I’m as comfortable as possible. Best Doctor in the World!!!!!! Love him dearly

After suffering with abdominal cramps under many Doctors for YEARS, being their guinea pig for various pain medications, on my very first visit to Dr. Smythe he recommended I be tested for endometriosis. Sure enough he performed a surgery and found the root of my problem after all those years. He removed the tissues that were causing my pain and by the grace of God I am healed! It is said that there is no cure for endometriosis however, I do believe that God is a healer. After my surgery, I adopted strict biblical principles when it came to the food I ate. I COMPLETELY stopped eating all "unclean" foods and began increasing my raw food intake. Now I am healed!
