Dr. Alexander Dix Soutter

Dr Soutter is fantastic! His bedside manner is fantastic. He put my 7 year old at ease and interacted and played with her like he'd known her for her whole life. He also answered every question we had and put us at ease as well. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a pediatric surgical specialist...you can tell he truly loves kids and is a great person and doctor.

Dr soutter was very good with my sweet boy. He explained how the procedure was going to go and everything. He made us feel very comfortable ???? I'd recommend him to anyone

our family LOVES Dr. Soutter!! He did a surgery on our 8 month old and was so gentle with her and a worried mom! He took his time explaining every question i had, and even after the surgery was so nice and answered questions even over the weekend! the best experience with him!

Dr. Soutter is an incredible pediatric surgeon. My fourteen year old had a congenital inguinal hernia and Dr. Soutter did an amazing job treating him. Before surgery, he thoroughly explained everything, what he was going to do, and put us at ease. Once the procedure was done, he gave us a breakdown of how the surgery went, and exactly what he did. This was our second time (different kid - Duh!) getting a belly-button hernia fixed with Dr. Soutter. He is still awesome! He loves kids and he knows how to talk to them so they aren't scared. He also takes time to talk to us, in language that's easy to understand. We all felt very comfortable with him. Summerville operating room was great!

My grand son had gall bladder surgery with Dr Soutter this doctor is the best he was so nice to my grand son anyone needing a Pediactric surgeon should choose Dr. Soutter

We have 4 boys and getting circumcisions done has been trying in the past. (No one seems to want to do them anymore and when they do it is like rolling the dice if they know how) We were referred to Dr Soutter by our usual pediatrician for help to fix a circumcising that’s had gone wrong on our newborn. He listened to my concerns and was able to intelligently assess the situation. He even took care of it right there which meant we didn’t have to come back for a second appointment. He is the only person in the area who will revise a circumcision before the child turns 6 months old. This is great because you want to get it done as quick as possible and it is also cheeper. If done on an infant it is a local anesthetic but once they are 6 months it is a general anesthetic which in terms of your wallet is 200 vs 2000 for the same procedure. The procedure went well and I would refer him to anyone who wants a dr who will listen to you. So glad we found him! The nurses were great too!

Amazing dr and office staff. I highly recommend. They were very gentle with my 1 month during his circumcision.

He’s amazing. He took the time to actually examine my baby. Also he played with him,I loved that. And he explained everything down to me where I didn’t have any questions. He genuinely enjoy his patients

Takes the time to talk to the family and makes sure they are ok with every step of the process.

I am extremely wary of Drs and Drs. offices scheduling unnecessary procedures to get money. Dr. Soutter and his staff made me feel very comfortable and like they were there to care for kids, not just make money. The nursing staff offered a paci when I thought I'd lost mine in the parking lot and Dr. Soutter took his time explaining what he thought the best course of action would be-which was waiting rather than immediately sending my son into surgery, which I am grateful for.

Dr.Souter took care of my son and my son and I both adored him. Wonderful bedside manner.

Amazing bedside manner and loves kids! He takes his time to make sure everyone is doing ok. He goes above and beyond.

Dr. Soutter repaired my teenage sons hernia. A+ process from beginning to end. Dr Soutter is very professional and patient and friendly and did a great job. Very friendly and helpful staff and nice office.
