Dr. Alfred D Jenkins

I’ve been seeing Dr Jenkins for 4 years now. He always makes me feel comfortable and is very upbeat! He even remembers what my husband does for a living. His staff is always friendly too. He explains things and always answers my questions. I can tell he genuinely cares and always ask about my pain and gives suggestions to ease it. He is very intelligent but never talks down to us. He is upfront and doesn’t beat around the bush. I lost all of my hair during chemo which was upsetting but he went out of his way to make me feel ok. I’m facing chemo again and he didn’t dismiss my concerns. Instead he suggested that I donate my hair which was a really nice compliment. I really can’t say enough nice things about him and his staff. I was a bit concerned at my first appointment because of some of the comments I had read, but immediately all of my concerns were dismissed. He is quick to order test and make referrals to other specialist when needed.

Dr. Jenkins was in a weekend rotation checking-in on my sister and visited us towards the end of his day. He seemed irritated by questions about treatment he was recommending and dismissed concerns with limited discourse. Thankfully the nurse explained the treatment after he left and addressed our confusion. He was likely tired but was tasteless in his bedside manner and made us feel as if we were not worth his time.

3rd time for uterine cancer and my oncologist sent me to Dr Jenkins. I found him to be very sharp, very kind and did his best to make me feel comfortable.

Honestly I when I referred to to this Dr I was excited because I was informed he would be the best Dr to do the Job that I needed and wanted done. My regular Dr Cheryl Razdan referred me to Dr Jenkins. Well upon my visit to his office I was talked to first by the Dr told him my concerns which were to have my fibroids removed. After a quick exam Dr Jenkins decides to tell me everything looked ok down below but he thought I should get a full hysterectomy. I said no that’s not my I’m here!
