Dr Khoynezhad listens to my issues and gives suggestions on howto deal with them. His office staff are very professional.

Dr. Khoynezhad has great bedside manner’s makes you feel comfortable. He’s very thorough and answered all our questions.

After at least 5 tests my cardiologist at the time referred me to have an angiogram procedure. He estimated that one of my heart arteries was at least 70% blocked. The angiogram went forward for only a brief time as it was discovered that 2 of my three of my heart arteries were 100% blocked. Dr. Kohonezhad was available to join my case immediately. I had open heart triple bypass surgery shortly after. Dr. K was extremely professional, met with me every day after the surgery. In addition his team of other doctors and NP were outstanding. The post operative visits have all been excellent. His office staff has been very proactive scheduling follow up appointments and are alwasy courteous and professional. I hope no one needs his services but I would trust my life to this doctor.

please google his name and see that he had to pay one million dollar in damages to actor bill Paxton's family for contributing to bill Paxtons death after surgery. beware.

Horrible uncaring and full of himself physician who thinks he’s the God Surgeon. His staff act the same as well. No wonder the Paxton family is filing a wrongful death lawsuit against him for the loss of the young actor. I’m definitely taking my father to another physician.

On September 3, 2021, Dr. Ali Khoynezhad performed coronary artery bypass surgery on me. I am eternally grateful to the doctor for his deep knowledge, professionalism, confidence in the success of the operation and positive support of the patient. I will recommend Dr. Ali Khoynezhad to my family, friends and acquaintances.

I was faced with conflicting advises from different doctors whether to intervene for my medical issues. None of the doctors presented risk v rewards analysis, except Dr. K. He explains his findings and his recommendations, as if to his medical students. Consequently, I have complete understanding of my medical conditions, different medical options, and prognosis. Thus, I can make informed decision and be comfortable with myself. But, above all, he is a kind, caring and genuine gentleman. He is the epitome of what a good doctor should be. I would follow him to anywhere in the world for my problems.

Dr. Khoynezhad saved my life during an emergency open heart surgery. He is so thorough and caring. His team is terrific and I always feel I am in capable hands. His skill as a surgeon saved my life!

Dr. K saved my life with his skill and knowledge. I had an aortic dissection from my valve all the way into my Iliacs. He repaired my valve, ascending aorta and arch. He is such a pleasure to be around and I was very blessed to have gotten him as my surgeon in my dire situation. His team is wonderful and I highly recommend him.

There are no words to describe the Life Saving Procedures Dr. K has provided for me. Multiple procedures might i add! Each procedure was as successful as they could ever be and beyond expectation given the complexity of the work that I needed. He's always made the journey very comfortable. Dr. K always maintains a positive attitude is very certain of how he plans to proceed. His confidence definitely spreads to the patient which in turn eases any doubt or anxiety in the patient. Dr. K's follow-ups and after-care is also very responsive and informative. Dr. Khoynezhad is a life saver. My wife suffered an Aortic Dissection and was rushed to the nearest emergency facility. At the time we were with one of the largest medical provider but due to the life threatening emergency she was transported to the nearest ER location. This was truly a blessing in disguise since this is how Dr. Khoynezhad became our doctor. Since the mortality rate for someone who suffered an Aortic Dissection and the (Tevar) surgery Dr. Khoynezhad performed is in the high 80% range it's a miracle she's still with us. Fortunantely our medical provider agreeded to let Dr. Knoynezhad operate on my wife. My wife was transferred to one of our medical providers hospital and eventually home to recover. The medical attention and doctors care she received from our long time, big time provider was terrible compared to the care we received from Dr. K and his staff. We finally left our big provider and joined the medical group that Dr. Khoynezhad was with. He saves lives.

Dr Khoynezhad quite simply saved my life. So to be totally honest , I cannot truly express what he means to myself and my family. I met him in early September 2015 in pretty bad shape. To say I was a little fearful of the surgery I needed to have is a little understatement. But that's where I knew Dr Khoynezhad was unique.... not different., but UNIQUE! He took the time to speak to me just like a normal bloke. He's confidence eased my concerns and needless to say the surgery and treatment following was simply astounding. He saved my life. And if you are fortunate to have Dr Khoynezhad as your physician/surgeon then not only will you get the best surgeon, but a mate as well...... He is Brady, MJ and Lebron all round into one.

Brilliant Doctor and so pleasant to deal with. Dr. Ali Khoynezhad, is ahead of his time and an Amazing Surgeon. I'm beyond grateful to him and his staff. Very professional and friendly. Having him as your surgeon, is like winning the lottery. Thank you Sir. for all you do. You are a life saver!!!

Dr Khoynezhad saved my life last July. I had emergency surgery for an Aortic Dissection and was fortunate enough to have Dr Khoynezhad do the operation. All the things that had to happen just right and fall into place was truly a mirical.

Very knowledgeable caring and expert doctor. He preformed open heart surgery on my father a few days ago. He explained and answered everything in detail. We knew what to expect and how to prepare. Having the life of the most important person in your life is scary but he made us feel 110% confident that the surgery was going to go well. He was able to preform the surgery with no blood which is extremely dangerous using other alternatives. If the procedure would ever have to be done to me I’d defenitly have the faith and confidence with Dr. K . Dr. Khoynezhad was very professional in my dealings with him. He explained everything and then asked if there was anything else he could answer. He shows genuine concern for his patients and wants to help where he can. Very refreshing.

Dr. Khoynezhad performed my surgery at Cedars Sinai, January, 2010. I had an Ascending Aortic Aneurysm and bicuspid aortic valve. He replaced the aorta and arch and repaired the valve. I was living in Colorado then, but he was recommended to me by my Interventional Cardiologist at Scripps, La Jolla. After comparing experience of a thoracic surgeon at U of Colorado hospital, I chose Dr. Khoynezhad due to his, expertise, personality and numerous successful surgeries like mine. He's the best!!!

I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Ali Khoynezhad and the very skilled staff at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Although there is nothing overly pleasant about having open heart surgery, I can say that Dr. Khoynezhad and the Hospital Staff involved did everything in their power (from start to finish) to make it as good for me as they possibly could. They not only saved my life but also saved the quality of life that I had prior to my entering their hospital for surgery.

Dr Khoynezhad operated on my son in September 2015. What a wonderful and caring man. I travelled from Australia to LA to help my son recover and was just amazed at the care that was given by himself and the hospital.

Dr. Khoynezhad is by far the greatest surgeon I have ever encountered. I performed my due diligence in researching and meeting with many, many surgeons to help me decide who I would choose to perform open heart surgery on me (I had an aortic aneurysm that needed to be removed and a bicuspid leaflet valve that needed to be repaired). The first sign Dr. Khoynezhad was more competent than all the previous surgeons I met with was the fact that he recognized my aneurysm was in fact larger than what any of the past surgeons had diagnosed. I had been hospitalized twice with severe chest pain and high blood pressure in the weeks before meeting Dr. Khoynezhad and continued to have several episodes after my second hospital stay but none of the cardio surgeons I met with from the hospital nor any of the ones I followed up with outside of the hospital properly conveyed the magnitude of my aneurysm nor how urgent it was for me to get it fixed before it ruptured. Despite my pain never subsiding and continuing to experience frequent episodes of faintness and extreme chest pain, everyone but Dr. Khoynezhad told me I could wait a year or so before having my surgery. I kid you not, they did not see the urgency in my deteriorating health and actually told me to endure such horrific symptoms for up to a year - I guess when your diagnosis is way off, it's not surprising for your recommendations to be as well! Usually I'm very skeptical when doctors are quick to recommend surgery because you always worry about their hidden ($) agenda but I honestly can say this brilliant man literally SAVED MY LIFE! If it wasn't for Dr. Khoynezhad, I may have taken the advice of all the previous surgeons thinking my aneurysm is smaller and less threatening than it actually was and continued without seeking surgery and my aneurysm would have ruptured and I could have been dead right now. How could you put a price tag on such brilliance? On such competence? Dr. Khoynezhad is as professional and comforting of a doctor as anyone could ever pray for. He is extremely patient and kind both with myself as well as my boyfriend and family. He met with all of my loved ones prior to surgery and spent an ample amount of time explaining everything in detail and answering all of our questions. He never rushed through anything (unlike most hasty doctors these days) and smiled and was pleasant the entire time - and has been consistently this way with every one of my visits and I have had many with him by now. You can just sense his kind, humble nature when you meet him. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Khoynezhad and would strongly recommend him to anyone and everyone who may have a need for cardio surgery. You will not find a better surgeon, a better professional nor a kinder soul in this industry of tainted, impatient doctors. I thank you Dr. Khoynezhad for everything - we need more doctors like you!
