I have mixed feelings on Dr. Bustos. I was telling her that I was having chest pains for months, and she kept brushing it off as anxiety. Finally she ordered an echo and it turns out that I have some heart conditions. Any time I have gone to see her about a problem, she tells me that it's anxiety and tried to put me on anti depressants (which caused me to have serotonin syndrome since I'm not depressed). One time I told her of a problem and I had to call her back into the room because she completely forgot about it, and it was something pretty significant. She is nice and makes you feel comfortable, but she is not the best listener, which is crucial for patient care. I have mixed feelings on Dr. Bustos. I went to her for a bone issue, and she called a repetative stress injury even though it's in places unrelated to hobbies or work. Despite my insistence, she continues to ignore symptoms. Still hasn't been resolved. Find a different doctor. Edit: I still have severe bone pain like I described to Alice Bustos and to a second Doctor with no resolution while I wait for a new, competent PCP. Dr. Bustos has been my family provider since 2002. I trust her with all our medical needs. I highly recommend her.
I’ve been seeing Dr Bustos on and off since I was 11 years old. She’s very funny, yet quick & to the point. I think anyone can feel comfortable with Dr B. I especially liked how she treated my grandma as well; that’s when I really saw how good of a doctor she was.
