I saw Dr Stanciu last week and I am very happy with my results..she is very knowledgeable and her pricing was fair. No games..I will definitely be going back.

Dr. Stanciu is professional and gave me a very thorough eye exam. She pays attention to detail and treated my eye allergies. Bonita Springs office is well organized with friendly staff.

She is truly an amazing woman and dr, she really cares about her patients. She is funny and has great bed side manner ""unlike other doctors "" I'm very lucky to have found her as I am new to the area. Very reasonable as well!!! Great work thanks dr!

I'm a repeat customer we will continue to go to her because of her honesty and the results of her work...she takes her time to listen to your concerns and works with your budget... absolutely awful.... no sanitizing of my skin, fluid going in to my eyeballs and bruises on my face. Didn't even walk around to the other side of my face. DO NOT GO.

I went in with a Groupon not knowing it wasn't the greatest selection for plumping my lips until Doctor Stanciu informed me. She told me the better option but it was not something I could afford at the time. Im a bit of a tough case because I have a scar on my top lip and it makes my lips uneven along with having naturally uneven lips. She said I could always come back for more and that she would give me a good price on the better product. So she begins and then eventually runs out of the product I purchased. She wasn't happy with the result of that filler so she pulled out a box of the expensive stuff and goes to work on my lips with that!!! I couldn't believe it!! I'm still kind of a little speechless over it. She wanted to make sure I left there happy. She is so caring and sweet and her staff is wonderful as well. They were so nice to my kids and made us all feel comfortable. Doctor Stanciu is very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She made my lips look amazing and she went above and beyond for me and she didn't have to do what she did but she did And I can't thank her enough for that! My experience with Dr. Alina Stanciu was and is exactly what I hoped, she would accomplish. Dr. Stanciu is very good in fact, she is amazing. Also she is alway pleasant. She must have had a reason not to be nice. I have seen patients in the office obviously many have serious eye problems. Her facial procedures are amazing she definitely knows what she is doing. I LOVE Medifacespa!! The office and staff are so lovely. Alina is awesome, she is such a sweet person. She was very patient and informative while discussing my problems and concerns. I felt very relaxed in her office. My results are unmatched, I look natural and refreshed which is very important to me. I can’t wait to go back!!!

Reading the other reviews on google, I most definitely had a different experience than some. I work in the industry & they don't offer injections where I'm employed. I have worked in other states in the medical spa industry and I would say that a lot of the negative comments that I'm seeing are perhaps for issues that aren't necessarily regarding Dr Stanciu's business, itself. First of all- Groupon can be extremely confusing. I've had my own business take part as a Groupon merchant. They have a "cookie-cutter" approach for their merchants & don't always cater to the merchants in a way that allows business owners to offer services in the way they want to. Yes- it's their choice to be part of Groupon but they aren't necessarily making money off of Groupon customers. They have to offer a discount & Groupon gets a portion of that besides. MOST Groupons are NOT allowed to repurchase within a 6 month period. That's EXTREMELY common. It's in the fine print & it's our job as consumers to read it unfortunately. When going for a cosmetic service, do you want to hear what YOU think or do you want to hear what a professional, who does this for a living, thinks? I want to hear what the professional thinks- and not allow myself to be offended. Just because they suggest that you do additional services, doesn't mean you HAVE to. They're putting it out there. It's your responsibility to advocate for yourself. When you go to a restaurant, do you get mad at the server for offering the dessert menu??? This is no different. As far as my review: my professional opinion of Dr Stanciu was that she has an eye for detail & helped me with a suitable plan for services. I found Dr. Stanciu when I did a Groupon after moving to Bonita Springs. From the first visit she was and remains amazingly knowledgeable and honest. She helps to make sure that you look beautiful and not fake. Love her and her amazing staff Rewa and Abbi!

Went in asking for aesthetic injections between my eyebrows only. She told me that my eyes were different sizes and that one eyebrow was higher than the other and that she would “fix that instead”. Did not give me the chance to okay this before she started injecting WITHOUT CLEANING OFF MY SKIN and only injected over the left eyebrow. This left my face completely asymmetrical as I can completely move my right eyebrow and cannot move my left eyebrow at all. Did not inject in between my eyebrows as I had requested. When I was leaving she told me to leave her a good review and to “not mention the wait time”. Now I have to find another provider to correct her mistake and have my forehead completely frozen to look symmetrical even though this is specifically what I did not want. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for injectables.

She botched my lips during a filler procedure done on her recommendation. I now have rock hard bumps of filler all over my lips, among other problems. I will have to go elsewhere to have her bad work fixed.

I left this place in tears. The Doctor screamed at me when she walked in the room for buying a second Groupon which I was told by her receptionist I could do so. Because of the miscommunication between her and her staff she took it out on me. As she was screaming at me she was drawing up her syringe and I told her that I was done and I wanted to leave because I didn’t deserve to be screamed at and I had done nothing wrong. I tried Dr. Stanciu through a Groupon ad about 4 yrs ago. I’d been going to another Large well known practice with offices in Ft.Myers & Naples, that rather than thank their clients for their loyalty they treat them badly. (Sad). So I decided to give her a try. I’m so grateful I did. She lifted my cheeks, & tightened my jawline giving me a liquid lift, that looks so natural, I was able to go out the same night! Dr. Stanciu stole from me! She collected money for services never rendered. Unless you consider saline injections services rendered!! I paid nearly $500 in BOTOX and got no results! I went back for not one but TWO followups with NO results! She looked me in the eye and told me how great of a reputation she has, how she has been around a long time, is the best in town and her work shows it. (Usually when someone has to tell you how great they are, there is a problem!) Her reason for BOTOX not working is my (treated) hypothyroid. So Botox paralyzes the muscles, but just not MINE. Horrible. Should have checked the reviews before I can here. They told me they take my insurance and to schedule and could schedule an eye exam, except I would have to go to Estero. I did, and then when I got there they said they didn’t take my insurance. The elderly dr came out after I told her no your staff said they did. Called into Dr office yesterday to ask a question of concern and WOW. To say this Dr is rude and unprofessional is an understatement. I only called to ask a question and the Dr went off on me, asking why I was calling and I should have called in the morning. She just kept asking me why am I calling and what is it that I want? This women is a joke. I had an appointment to have some botox done. She was rough and unable to work on me. This was due to thyroid issues. I had to ask her to put gloves on as she was explaining that her secretary turned her into the Health Department. I was then charged $300.00 for visit. Terrible "bedside manner", very arrogant, dismissive and obscenely pushy. Telling me that I was taking too long to choose my eyeglass frames, I am legally blind and cannot see more than 2 inches from my face. She told me to "trust her" and her "amazing fashion sense" to hurry me along. She shamed me for that, and for wearing a mask and asked me if I was "afraid of something" as if we weren't still in a pandemic and if she doesn't see a bunch of people every day. When I went back to pick up my frames, I asked for a copy of my prescription but when I got it home I found it was just a measurement for my reading distance. I will never go back here, and I don't suggest anyone go here either.

DO NOT GET INJECTIONS FROM DR. STANCIU!!! She is so rude and made me feel so terrible about myself that I cried on my way home. I was still hoping my lip injections would turn out ok after the swelling went down but nope... I have a large hard lump on one side of my upper lip that makes it very uneven with the other side. I also left her office with a liquid filled ball on the inside of my lower lip from one of her (MANY) injection sites that has still not gone away. I’m going to have to pay to get a proper doctor to fix it because I don’t trust her enough to even let her anywhere near me with needles again. I should have trusted my gut that was telling me to run when I was there to get my lip filler. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.... it’s not worth the little money you save!

I would not recommend Dr. Stanciu. The doctor is extremely condescending and rude. She is trying to interrogate a patient as s/he was a criminal. Provides a diagnosis without any detailed information, i.e. the actual eye pressure, peripheral vision, etc. I cancelled the follow up visit on the day after my first and last visit to this doctor. Her staff is calling us, and they claim that "I missed the follow up visit". I very politely explained that I had cancelled the visit because I would rather not be subjected to this attitude ever again. Within 2 minutes the doctor herself calls me and claims "she had been right all the time about the diagnosis and she does not understand the reason of my dissatisfaction. Is she trying to intimidate those who prefer a more professional attitude?

She was the rudest, meanest, and most unprofessional "doctor" I've ever met. - Remember, you get what you pay for. She's not worth it at any price! I believe that the product was not the real thing. If it were, she would offer Brilliant Distinction points and they do not.

It is hard to believe this woman is referred to as a Doctor. She is literally the nastiest, most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. First off, I had to wait almost an hour while not one patient but TWO patients complained about their optician services. Finally when we got into the room, my daughter and I sat quietly in the corner while waiting for another half hour and we talked about lip injections which she didn't feel I needed. When stanciu finally graces us with her presence she is all about the upsell and what I need etc basically expecting me to spend $1500. Telling me she was going to fix everything and I would look ten years younger. I agreed hesitantly. Stanciu left the room for another half hour with the same gloves she entered the room originally in and did not remove or wash her hands or replace with new sanitary ones . I told my daughter out loud I would not get lip injections and stanciu went berserk yelling at my daughter. I should have left then but instead

I had some fillers and injections from her. Her bill was substantially more than I had paid any other Dr for similar services. Never going back.

Super explanative of all services she was providing me, and we died laughing at one point because she spent that much time making me comfortable! Horrible. I was in for something that was not chargeable to my insurance company(Groupon) Her office staff insisted on a copy of my insurance card in which I later discovered they submitted false charges for two procedures that were NOT performed. I have contacted the fraud department of my insurance company.

I am so happy I found Dr. Stanciu - Not only was she honest about what I really needed to have done to lessen the sagging of my cheeks and lines on my forehead, but she carefully explained it to me in a way that I could easily understand. I had a corneal transplant and my insurance company needed my records from her. I called more than 10x. My Atty called for over two months. All I got was brushed off. I am blind in one eye. When she was finished I saw her squirt the remainder of my syringe into a bottle. Have never seen anyone do that; usually they just lay down the syringe. Even a month later, no difference. Still have all my wrinkles! When I emailed her of my dissatisfaction (3 times) and sent her a video, she didn’t answer. Reported her to My credit card company for a dispute. In answer to the dispute, she release my confidential information, violating HIPAA law! No problem that she released consent forms, but should not have released my private info regarding prescriptions I take and cosmetic procedures I have had.

NEVER EVER put yourself through a visit to this insane "doctor". She is deceitful and injected me with a product other than what I paid for and then screamed at me and kicked me out of her office when I questioned her. An absolute nightmare.

Dr Stanciu identified what I needed and wanted immediately. She was quick and precise. I will definitely go back and I would recommend her.

My wife came with a Groupon in hoping to get a filler injection to get rid of smile wrinkles. Dr. Stanciu insisted that she needed to do things differently, and the Groupon won't work for the procedure as it is a "different" product. She was very rude and pushy in her attempt to upsell the services. Dr. Stanciu made some injections in my temples and cheekbones, stating that it would take care of the smile wrinkles. The very same day and every day since my wife started getting terrible headaches. Her face swell, and she has bags under her eyes 10 (!) days after the procedure. When I came in a week later with my wife, the "doctor" was very rude to me, saying, "Who are you?? Why are you here?? Why are you talking to me??" I tried to show her a picture form earlier that day where my wife's face is really swollen, but the "doctor" did not ever look at it, responded, "I don't care! I don't care about your picture!" RUDE..TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. DO NOT RECOMMEND.. I got here on time for my appointment and didn’t get called for about 20-30 minutes. The nurses were super friendly and helped me and my sister very much. We waited for about another 15-20 minutes for the doctor. I bought the groupon thinking I get a good deal but apparently I was wrong and came to realize I did not understand it, so I asked Dr. Stanciu, and she was very rude about it. She made my sister feel really uncomfortable, rushed our exams, and stuck something in my eye without warning. The initial experience with the staff was good but once Dr Stanciu entered the picture, everything went downhill. Plan on waiting. I've been there two times, both times I waited over an hour to be seen.Thought I'd give it one more try, I waited one hour fifteen minutes. One client waited almost two hours! I left, and won't be back.There are plenty of good Doctors around.

My experience with going to Dr. Stanciu for fillers dates back several years. The reason I originally chose Dr. Stancia was, to me, common sense. DR. STANCIU is a BOARD CERTIFIED EYE PHYSICIAN AND SURGEON! How comforting when you're having injections so close to your eyes. Over the years, I've gone back to Dr. Stanciu for touch up. Sometimes I let too much time pass between appointments, like I did recently. Dr. Stanciu recommended her LIQUID FACELIFT. She explained that it covers all those various areas that a facelift does BUT without the exorbitant cost and lengthy downtime. I trust Dr. Stanciu so I said "yes". Well, it's amazing, economical and no down time like the "old fashion" face lift. I have had several appointments with Dr. Stanciu. Both in the Naples office and in Bonita She is a fantastic filler injector - (I have been to many in and around this area.) Her prices are very affordable - (which helps when you’re having multiple procedures done) She stands by her work, and is genuinely concerned about making you look and feel your best! Dr. Stanciu is incredible! I walked into her office and felt welcomed right away. The office staff is glowing and ready to assist. I checked in and was brought into the examination room with Gloria. She was so pleasant! I met Dr. Stanciu and appreciated her honesty. She is very blunt and I think some patients may think this is rude but she is a doctor that is working with appearance and a blunt and honest opinion from a MASTER INJECTOR is something that I am going to take into consideration no matter what. I went in for an eyeglass and contact prescription, wildly overpaid for both, and left with neither because the staff is incompetent and the appointment had already taken so long I had to leave. I've now called the Bonita Springs office all week asking for my eyeglass prescription which they are currently not owning up TO HAVING LOST. WALMART WOULD DO BETTER. Sept ‘18, I experienced what was diagnosed as a macular tear. Dr Stanciu arranged her afternoon to complete the laser repair asap, she gave me her cell # for emergency, as I was flying in 3 days/a quick 4 days weekend vaca. She recommended review for eyelid reduction. Dec tests & insurance approved, Feb it was done! Couldn’t be more pleased with everything, the surgical staff at Bonita Community Health, AWESOME outcome! Very little bleeding and swelling! Not tired looking and 10 yrs younger!

My visit to this so called doctor was HORRIBLE. She doesn't even deserve one star! She was extremely rude, not professional and the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. I am a new patient and new to facial injections. I was referred to Dr. Stanciu and I'm thrilled that I was. Dr. Stanciu and her staff are very professional, friendly and explained everything to me in detail. The treatment that I received included Botox and facial fillers. The immediate result from the fillers was very dramatic and restored me to a very youthful but totally natural look I was able to go out to dinner that evening with very little make-up and I feel like I look beautiful.

After reading the reviews, to late mind you. The negative ones do prevail for good reason. I went to Alina Stanciu over three months ago for Botox. To say this woman is not only a sloppy recluse would be doing an injustice to all who came here seeking retribution. She talked me into Dermal Fillers, saying "she was the best in town". My appointment time literally felt like less than 30 seconds, Botox dripping all over my face & clothes and she was DONE, dermal fillers and all! It was like an assembly line in her office. Not only did she not do what I asked her to do, even after returning several times for sloppy, horrible work, for a very simple, minuscule procedure. I am still bruised, over three months later!!! Doctor is one of the best eye specialists in the country! She might be a little brash but she just wants to make sure you are provided with the best care possible. I missed a few months worth of appointments and Doc was upset with me because I have a serious condition that needs continual medical care. She yelled at me but I deserved it! Be very careful when considering Dr. Stanciu for facial injections. She can be very good, but if she’s having a bad day, or is not happy with you for any reason she’s capable of taking it out on her work on your face.

I have been going to Dr. Alina Stanciu's offices for about one year now. I have had fillers and botox from many doctors for almost 9 years and I have to say Dr Alina is by far the most talented Dr I have ever been seen by.
