I had cataract surgery in June. Dr Hynes was very thorough in her exam and explaining the surgery procedure to me. She and her staff were at all times, kind , courteous and very knowledgeable. My surgery went very well and I am very pleased with the results . I highly recommend Dr Hynes.

If you are a new patient don't bother calling. They will ignore you. I was told by my ER doctor to do a follow-up with this doctor. I left a voicemail and never got a returned call. I then left a message on their website and never got a response to that either. I had to call another eye doctor and thank God I did. They saw me the day I called and performed emergency eye surgery the next day.

Dr. Kynes is caring and explains your condition and what she is doing. Great doctor in every way. So glad I found her.

I went to Dr Hynes last year. She was very capable and thorough. Dr Hynes helped identify a potential problem that was later identified and resolved. I highly recommend her and her associate Dr Saeger, whom I first saw at their Winchester office and referred to Dr Hynes as a follow up.

Incredible doctor who knows exactly what she is talking about. Helpful, understanding, and caring! I recommend to everyone!! Also, staff is extremely professional and helpful.

Unprofessional and unpleasant doctor. Staff doesn't know what they're doing. Took over 1 hour to be taken back - 2.5 hours from start to finish!! The three waiting room chairs are falling apart. Equipment and rooms are Dirty!! Terrible!!! Don't go here!!!

Dr is thorough in her examinations, history taking, explanations & discussion with patients in their eye issues or disease & treatment options. I have referred many friends & family members to her. Every one of these (that I know of) have been very pleased with her ophthalmology care. She has 2 office locations: Winchester & Woodstock.

A friend recommended Dr. Hynes and I am so glad. Compared to my previous opthomologist Dr. Hynes and her staff are a dream. Both she and her assistant took their time and did thorough examinations. My questions were answered completely. Concerns I expressed were addressed in a satisfactory manner. The wait time was reasonable and I did not feel at all rushed during my appointment. Excellent!

I found Dr. Hynes to be caring and highly professional. I am convinced of her competence and I especially appreciated her advice to limit surgical treatment to necessary procedure. Her staff is also kind, caring and effective.

Ask to have VA DMV sun-shading medical authorization form signed by Dr. Hynes iin order to reduce bright sun light during the day and bright lights at night time to improve my driving since my eyes are sensitive to bright lights.The assistant that was going to check my eyes stated she had never seen or heard of this form and immediately took a negative attitude towards my request and stated that ever one coming in would want a form signed. She stated I would have to go see a doctor to sign.
