Awful

I was scheduled to have a growth taken off my C5. I got a tooth infection 5 days before surgery. I immediately started antibiotics. I was scheduled to see him 2 days before surgery. I told the nurse about the tooth. He was irritated when he came in. He to me out to the desk and said reschedule her, she's got a tooth ache or gingivitis or something. Then he says, it was elective anyway. My growth and I are doing just fine. I'm glad I didn't let that man cut on me.

I waited for surgery until thought I could not take any more pain, but Dr Gocio proved me wrong!! I can live with more pain!!I He seemed knowledgeable and told me he could help me. Surgery and following month went well then things went south. He left me in more pain, can barely move and his idea was to titrate me off pain meds and refer me to a pain clinic after telling me "I have done all I could do, the rest is up to you". At that visit, he wouldn't answer ANY of my questions or even look me in the eye! Wish I had never stepped into his office.

May 2018-We were referred to Dr. Gocio for an opinion after severe spinal stenosis was discovered at L3-5. Dr. Gocio appeared intelligent and informative in reading the MRI reports but "snapped" when we began to ask him questions about treatment options. He became very rude and even demeaning when we inquired about possible alternative treatment options versus surgical procedures. He even referred to us as "simple minded" and asked why we would come to a surgeon if we didn't want surgery!

Like to have left me paralyzed. I had a replacement at L5 and 5 months later it had disappeared up into L4. When I went to another doctor for help they couldn't find the screws, he had put the wrong size screws in. I ended up dragging my left leg for two months before I could have corrective surgery done, that surgery took almost 9 hours to correct what with the removal of L4 and 5 and replacing both.

After making a consious decision to perform surgery (prestege)he as told in prior comments performed surgery well with good physical outcome.then proceeded to downgrade my decision in office notes which i will present when needed, to have surgery he ?elected? to perform,saying that i seemed to be leaning toward surgery,no money or rewards involved on my part,just good health,TrutH!
