23 years ago Dr Belshaw was new to steamboat and my premature baby was one of the first premature infant surgeries done in steamboat and by Dr. Belshaw. He repaired her inguinal hernia when she was just 8 weeks old and barely 5 lbs . I am happy to say she is now 23 years old and never had a complication and is now a registered nurse training in surgical with a plan to practice in the neonatal field .

In February, Dr. Belshaw saved my life by recognizing my embolism and I was flown to Fort Collins for immediate and extensive surgery. After developing a post-surgery hernia I am back in his care and I couldn’t ask for better support. Dr. Belshaw is a caring and kind surgeon that takes great care of his patients. The whole experience of dealing with his office has been outstanding.

Dr. Belshaw performed my hernia surgery. It was a good experience and I would trust him with any surgery I might need. I would highly recommend him, he is a kind and caring Doctor.

Superb service from start to finish. When our son showed up with 5 broken ribs and a punctured lung, Dr. B was ready and waiting. He patched him up expeditiously, gave us real-world perspectives on how to deal with the situation, and managed our son's welfare and his parents anxiety with grace and aplomb. A superstar.

I met Dr. Belshaw in an "urgent surgical" situation. He was patient, knowledgeable, comforting, and honest. I felt completely at ease with him performing an unexpected laparoscopic surgery on me while on vacation - something no one ever wants to have to go through. As of this writing, about three days later, I feel well and have had no complications. I am most appreciative to have worked with Dr. Belshaw and would highly recommend him.
