Everyone is very professional. Dr Ho is very nice and informative. He is excellent at giving the shot in my eye

I have been seeing Dr Ho for over 10 years; he is very professional and informs me of my progress.

The Wills Eye Mid-Atlantic Retina practice reminds me of a factory. I drove from NYC for a second opinion with Dr. Allan Ho, who, literally was in the room for five minutes, didn’t bother listening to what I have to say, and when asked about prognosis and recommendations dismissed me by telling me to follow back with my ophthalmologist, and that he cannot provide me with recommendations because I am not his patient. Dr. Ho should have learned more about bedside manners and empathy in medical school. I am a physician myself, and am still appalled by his lack of professionalism. A big waste of my time and my money.

Dr. Ho is Fast and efficient with tremendous expertise most of all he is informative and fun he made my experience amazing!! Best of all his treatment worked in less than 24 hours...Im blown away!! Dr. Ho is extremely unique you can see this very well right from the beginning he should have his own doctor show!

In response to my question he said “ You had cataract because you are old and you have macular hole because you are old.” After he made a few more unprofessional statements such as “you are doctor shopping” I told him your rude and I don’t like your attitude. He said you can leave now, and I left.

I am so grateful to have Dr Ho as my retina specialist. I have great respect, confidence, and trust in him. It is wonderful to feel I’m receiving the best care from such a highly skilled physician. I highly recommend him as a retina specialist.

I was referred to this doctor by my ophthalmologist for a retina problem in one of my eyes. He failed to recognize my problem and dismissed my symptoms. As a result I have a loss of vision in the eye.

Dr. Ho is an excellent doctor. I had eye surgery (vitrectomy) November 2020 at Wills Eye Hospital. He did a fabulous job clearing up my vision! I was concerned about having eye surgery during the pandemic but had nothing to fear. Every precaution for my safety was taken. Dr. Ho is empathetic, patient and listens to your concerns. I never feel rushed when I see him. I have nothing but praise for this eye surgeon and the staff at Mid Atlantic Retina. The staff is courteous, friendly and professional and very covid safe. If you need a retinologist, you definitely should see Dr. Ho. I highly recommend him. I extensively researched retinologists before I chose him. And I am happy I did!

It is very scary to have a retinal issue that obstructs one's vision, but with a retinal specialist like Dr. Ho, one can feel confident that he has the situation in hand. I have been going to Dr. Ho for several years now, and my vision has remained intact because of the painless eye injections he administers. Furthermore, he is one of the kindest, most caring, most articulate, and most considerate doctors who have ever treated me. If you have to wait, his expertise is worth waiting for, but I can honestly say, he values his patients' time and does his best to balance cutting edge care with time efficiency. Dr Ho is not only a consummate professional, but he is a caring physician as well. He has taken care of my retinal problems and currently treats my husband for Macular Degeneration. We are extremely pleased with Dr. Ho as well as his caring and friendly staff!

Dr. Ho is one of the most respected specialists in treatment of problems with the retina, and deservedly so. Hi is also a "nice guy". and his support staff is competent, thorough and friendly. Excellent bedside manner. I had retinal occlusion, had eye injections 2years. Highly recommend this doctor. He also did laser in my eye. He is the best around. You won't be sorry. Wish I could go back. No pain at all.

He has helped my 90 year old Aunt keep her vision for the last 12 years. We faithfully go to the Mid Atlantic Retina at Wills Eye in center city Philadelphia every 6 to 8 weeks. She is a great judge of her vision. Dr. Ho has worked with her on the time frame that when the vision slips we make our appointment, hence every 6 to 8 weeks. With out Dr. Ho vision would not be possible. We are greatfull for all he has done.

Quite simply Dr. Ho is as good as doctors get. He knows the latest research. In fact he creates much of it himself. His exams are thorough. He spots problems instantly and clearly explains therapy options. His injections are swift and painless. Most surprisingly, his cheerful personality makes visits times to look forward to and not dread. Two friends from NJ feel the same way about Dr. Ho. We cannot recommend him too strongly.
