Dr. Allen Roy Pearce

I've seen Dr. Pearce for several years after a change in my vision insurance. He has a great presentation and is very informative. He monitored my eyes very well with changes related to my cataracts. When the time came, he provided information that allowed me to make an informed decision regarding surgery. He preformed cataract surgery on both my eyes about a month apart. My annual appointments are completed timely and efficiently.

Went to an opthmologist after a long exasperating bout of my left eye being infected. 1st doctor told me it was dry eye and age related. 2 weeks (and a more infected eye problem) later, Dr. Pearce agreed it was infected and sent me home with the proper medicine to clear it up.

My mother went to Dr. Pearce yesterday and they dilated her eyes. She is 86 years old and drove herself. No one asked if she was driving or if in the past her vision was bothers by dilation, because the answer would have been yes. On her way home she got in an accident because the glare made her misjudge a turn. She is lucky no one got hurt, but she cried for hours because of guilt. I just wonder if this is normal practice and how many patients are on the road with vision impairment to endanger other drivers. I have told my mother she will find another eye doctor. I have always been asked by every eye doctor if I’m driving if they plan to dilate my eyes.

Dr. Pearce is a good doctor who listens to you and lets you know your progress and symptoms. He lets you express yourself and tell your fears and concerns and does not cut you off when you are trying to tell him what is going on. He is a doctor I would recommend. I have been a patient of Doctor Pearce for over six years.

Have seen Dr Pearce a couple of times after being referred to him by Dr Glenn Lamonica . He seems to be a very caring & sympathetic Dr. will tell you guys more after my third visit today .
