was given the wrong information on medication, optional blood test, and she did not inform me she would be relocating. I would of gone with a different provider from the get go. A little scary to have someone be that wrong in the medical field.

Dr. Ring is wonderful. She hears my concerns and empowers me as a mother and mom-to-be. Thank you, Dr. Ring and Elizabeth!

I won’t go anywhere else. We moved out to Brookfield and I will still happily drive myself to the East Side to be seen by Dr Ring. If you’re looking for someone to coddle you through your pregnancy she might not be the right one for you but if you’re looking for a Dr who will make you feel safe and confident during delivery, especially a difficult one full of surprises, she is it! Dr Ring is also an awesome advocate for mother’s mental health pre and post delivery. She is very compassionate but if you want someone to high-five you for eating 6 hostess cupcakes everyday and packing on the weight like crazy during pregnancy (like I did) you should look elsewhere. If I could give her a 0 I would. I only had 1 60 minute appointment with her and it was the worst experience in a doctors office I've ever had. Left her office feeling defeated and very small. This was our first appointment to see and hear the baby and she spent a total of 3 seconds on what's supposed to be the best moment in the world. She then spent the rest of the 59 minutes and 57 seconds making me feel like I wasn't worth being a new mother.. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO HER! If I could give her a 0 I would. I've hesitated to leave this review about my experience with Dr. Ring, but it's time I did. I had excellent surgical care with her when needed many years ago. However, three years after my initial experience with her, I had lost my job, became very ill and was on state insurance. I went to her for a colposcopy and am still stunned by the poor treatment I was given by Dr. Ring and her assistant. I was left in stirrups while they had to gather the correct equipment. I was told the procedure was painless -- it was so painful, I screamed. After the procedure was finished, Dr. Ring and her assistant looked at me as if they were annoyed. Dr Ring's bed manner was dismissive, distant and she behaved as if somehow the entire event was my fault -- as if I was a bad person. I left feeling horrible, and actually have had some issues with going to see the Dr. again. I felt that Dr. Ring thought it was okay to treat me this way b/c of my economic status at the time -- that I was an untouchable of sorts. I also came away feeling she had a sadistic streak, and that she somehow took pleasure in giving me and others like me pain. The thing is, I'm no longer in this economic situation - it was something I went through b/c I had lost my job, as so, so many people do these days. If it were up to me, Dr. Ring would lose her license. Or, she should be put through serious sensitivity training. I believe all the people who have left a review of how horrible Dr. Ring's behavior was -- they are telling the truth. If Ascension has any scruples at all, they would investigate these comments and hold Dr. Ring responsible. She isn't who she presents herself to be. I have nothing but great things to say. As a first time mom she helped me through everything during my pregnancy.

The worst doctor I've ever come in contact with. She treated me as just another young woman on state insurance and made my questions and concerns seem as if I just didn't know what I was talking about. My last appointment with her at 5 and half months pregnant is where she told me that I needed to stop over reacting and that maybe it's because I was overweight (185lbs) without even giving me a thorough checkup. I don't know what I was there for. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Two days later, my pains that I was "over reacting" about were in fact contractions and I was 6cm dilated, which caused me to have a stillbirth. When I went to a different hospital, my new doctor called her to inform her what was going on and she told my new doctor that she would just send me home until I'm ready to deliver so it's up to me who I wanted to be treated by, with blood pouring out of me. She never once called me even after the birth of my child, I never heard from her again. I will never forget you Dr. Ring. You are a first mother's worst nightmare as an obgyn and I can only hope that you've learned in the last 3 years. I'm not sorry about the truth behind my experience under Dr. Ring's care. There's no way to sum up the extremely poor quality of care I received when being treated by Dr. Ring at the age of 19 with my first child. She treated me as just another young woman on state insurance without any clue what my circumstances were. She didn't listen to any of my concerns which then turned to be having a still birth two days after my appointment with her. I didn't even want to go to her to deliver my dead child. She is awful. i can't sum up the terrible experience I had with her.

She is a snob who doesn't care about her own family. Do you really think that she will care about you?

I've had nothing but wonderful service from Dr Ring. She is both professional and personable and I feel she cares a lot about me as a patient.

I am 26 and Dr. Ring is the only OBGYN I have ever had since about age 18. No complaints here. Her and her nurse Mallory are super nice. I definitely reccomend them if she is taking new patients.
