Dr. Ong is funny, compassionate, and one of the nation’s best (in my opinion) Orthopedic Surgeons. His bedside manner is warm and heartfelt. Dr Ong’s commitment to his patients (before , during, and after surgery) is The Best by far.

I was in and out of the bldg in 34 minutes. They run the office like a well oiled machine. I was checked in, taken back for a couple of X-rays, and had my appt with Dr Ong in that time. Dr Ong has performed knee/hip surgery on my Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle, friend, and friend’s mom just to name a few. So when I started having hip pain I knew I wanted to see no one else but Dr Ong. Dr Ong is personable, knowledgeable, and puts his patients first.

Wait was normal but Dr Ong provided in depth, personable diagnostic information and told me what to expect. Very nice experience for a difficult time

Dr. Ong spends a great deal of time with his patients. He makes sure they understand the problem and how to treat it. He is a very caring and professional doctor, who is also very knowledgeable. He has been my knee specialist for over 11 years and has always been there for me. He performed bilateral knee replacements on myself as well as my husband, and we both are pleased with the results. In our eyes, Dr. Ong is the best!

Dr. Ong may be a fine surgeon, but he is also an arrogant twerp with the bedside manner of a bridge troll. He entered my appointment, already in an angry mood. He roughly grabbed my injured leg causing a severe painful bruise. He then stormed out, as if I had done something wrong. This guy is dangerous.

Dr . Ong has been my surgeon for a long time. I drove from Florida years back for surgery. I won’t let anyone touch my knees but him. He’s honest, thoughtful, eases your mind. He’s the best and my friend.

Extremely proficient and very positive- takes the fear out of your surgery- had a hip replacement in 2016 and wouldn’t go to anyone else for the other - scheduled for March!

Dr Alvin Ong did an excellent job to my husband’s left knee replacement surgery, he’s very kind and caring. We received thorough explanation prior to and post surgery. My husband is now recovering smoothly 2 weeks after surgery. Many thanks again and highly recommend Dr Ong.

Dr. Ong is a remarkable physician in his approach to patients with a relaxed , friendly and patient persona. He is a good listener, answers questions clearly and with terms you can understand. He is a model of a physician you welcome seeing.

Dr. Ong is an excellent surgeon. He has had myself, my parents, in-laws and husband as his patients. His bedside manner is exceptional as is his kindness and caring for his patient's. I highly recommend him to anyone who asks.

I am 36 and had both my hips replaced within 4 months of each other. I felt very confident with Dr. Ong. I was nervous and he made me feel very comfortable with such a life changing decision. I am 3 months out with my left and 7 months out with my right. I recently had concern so I called rothman and Dr. Ong scheduled to meet with me the next day! Everything was fine. I overdid it physically because I was feeling so good so soon after. Just need to have patience, which is hard but is worth it in the long run. Dr. Ong has been very receptive to my questions and concerns. It is clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and their outcomes.

Dr Ong was professional approachable sincere communicative thorough and seemed to have enough time to answer all my questions and concerns. I never had a feeling he “needed to Move on” from me until I was ready.

I have been seeing Dr.Ong for my arthritis in my hips for several years. He has always been professional and honest with me. When the groin pain reached a point where I was not able to do regular activities, I decided to go with the hip replacement. I am now 10 days out from the surgery and I'm doing surprisingly well. Dr. Ong is the BEST!

I had my right knee replaced in August of 2018 and I am very satisfied with the results. Even though I experienced some discomfort after surgery, I have never experienced any pain. Dr. Ong always explains your options and makes you feel comfortable when you explain your concerns to him. I have to get my left knee replaced this August and am actually looking forward to it and the end of my pain so I can get back to living a pain free life.
