Dr. Amir Moldovan

Don't even think about calling to get an appointment if you have covered california they will run you in circles trying to talk to your insurance when insurance says your covered. Dont waste your time.

Dr. Moldovan listens to me, not all doctors do that, however, Dr. Moldovan really takes the time and really listens to what I have to say. And he has always treated me with the utmost kindness, and respect, and that says a lot right there! Dr. Moldovan is number one!

Great Dr very informative. Very friendly office staff.

I got referred here after my primary dr found out I tested positive for an autoimmune disease. Luckily he was able to catch another issue that my primary didn’t and also look more Into an issue I had been having that my primary shouldve looked into months ago. I was referred to Dr. Moldovan after my Rheumatologist retired. Dr. Moldovan ran blood tests 1 time in the several years I was with him. He said every symptom I had was fibromyalgia. He couldn’t have been more wrong! He offered nothing. He never investigated further. My joint pain, fever, swelling and chronic fatigue is in fact RA. I’m now seeing an amazing Rheumatologist and getting proper treatment.

He takes his time with the patients. He explains clear,the condition of your health,he is so caring and professional and wise. Thank you so much .

Worst experience and doctor ever! I don't know how this man sleeps at night. To start my Dad (who was having extremely bad pain) had to wait 3 weeks to get in to see him. During his first visit Dr. Moldovan prescribed a new medication and told him to come back in 2 weeks. Didn't bother to followup to see how my Dad was doing with new medication which was not working for him. We left 5-6 urgent messages for him over the course of 9 days and did not get one single call back. Tried one last time and one of the front desk girls picked up and when my Dad asked her why the Dr. has not called back she responded with attitude and said they prioritize their patients. My Dad who was a new patient, prescribed a new medication, expressed he was in pain in every message did not warrant a call back in 9 days. We canceled his next apt, and asked for his medical records and they wanted to charge him $60 for them. In the end they didn't charge him but I would stay clear of this doctor.

I only had one visit with this Dr. He appeared to be professional. Being in terrific pain he Diagnosed my problem and prescribed a steroid regiment. Told to come back in 2 weeks. After 5 days the pain is steel unbearable. Tried to reach girls at desk which was impossible. Had to leave messages. No call back for 9 days. No call from Dr to see how I was doing on new meds. Personally, I believe his staff is trying everything to destroy his business. Also, you are prioritized as a new patient as to when they will call back. Very sick way of conducting business. Don’t go there!!!

Front office staff is awful. Kristen is curt, and negligent. She has messed up multiple appointments and she has "forgotten" to return calls. This is especially upsetting when trying to get a refill when she is ignoring my pharmacy. Dr. Moldovan is okay.

Very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Takes time to get to know you and you issues. Runs necessary tests. Explains completely test results and necessary treatment.

So far he had been thorough and listens well. He makes sure the diagnosis is correct before proceeding. Does not over medicate.

I did not have a good experience wtih Dr. Moldovan. He did not listen to me during my appointments and I always felt super rushed. Plus, getting him to refill prescriptions was an absolute nightmare. I had to call five days in a row to even get a call back from his receptionist. He would never personally call so when there were problems (he wanted me to stop taking a drug that was working and when I stopped it, I had a huge flare up), it took days of back and forth phone tag.

I got a referral to go to this doctor. I called to make an appointment. They asked what insurance I have but I wasn't sure. I called my insurance and they told me I have choice plus, that I don't need a referral from my PCP because I can go anywhere I want. I called them back to make an appointment and left a voicemail. The voicemail said they would call back within 24 hours, in which they never returned my call. I decided to go to a somewhere else due to the lack of following up with their pt.

My primary care physician thought I might have Polymyalgia Rheumatica, but to be sure he sent me to Dr Moldovan. After the blood test returned he told me there was nothing wrong with me. I had tremendous pain in the mornings from the ailment. I was sent to another rheumatologist who properly diagnosed me. He started me on a light dose of Prednisone and my pain has disappeared. I am in the process of being weened off the Prednisone.

My wife went to see Dr. Moldovan and was very happy with her experience with him and his staff. When I started having body aches, she suggested that I should make a appointment and I did. His staff seemed Pleasant and efficient. I was seen in a very timely manner, the doctor was pleasant and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions he didn't rush to get me out off the office. My second appt. was just as pleasant. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a rheumatologist.
